National Days of Prayer Day 34 of 40

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully Feast in the book of I Samuel 30. Today as we read in 1st Samuel, David’s men begin to murmur against him because Ziklag has been spoiled by the Amalekites. David drew strength from the Lord God, God tells him to pursue the Amalekites. When David overtakes the Amalekites and he decimates them. God restores all that had been lost to David and his men. David’s distribution of the spoil includes gifts to the elders of Judah. “26 Now when David came to Ziklag, he sent some of the spoil to the elders of Judah, to his friends, saying, “Here is a present for you from the spoil of the enemies of the Lord”— 27 to those who were in Bethel, those who were in Ramoth of the South, those who were in Jattir, 28 those who were in Aroer, those who were in Siphmoth, those who were in Eshtemoa, 29 those who were in Rachal, those who were in the cities of the Jerahmeelites, those who were in the cities of the Kenites, 30 those who were in Hormah, those who were in Chorashan, those who were in Athach, 31 those who were in Hebron, and to all the places where David himself and his men were accustomed to rove.” I Samuel 29:9 -11 New King James Version (NKJV). Because God restored everything to David, he was careful to restore everything to his people.

40 Days of Prayer-day 34
SCRIPTURE: Psalm 100: 1-5.
On your feet now—applaud GOD!
2 Bring a gift of laughter, sing yourselves into his presence.
3 Know this: GOD is God, and God, GOD. He made us; we didn’t make him. We’re his people, his well-tended sheep.
4 Enter with the password: "Thank you!" Make yourselves at home, talking praise. Thank him. Worship him.
5 For GOD is sheer beauty, all-generous in love, loyal always and ever.

Standing Applause
It’s time to stand to our feet and give a standing ovation to King Jesus. He delights at the joy of His people. This psalm talks of a gift of laughter and suggest how to approach God. We can sing ourselves into his presence. Our God likes singing. In the book of Luke the angels were singing at our Lords birth and in the book of Revelation we are told of multitudes of Angels singing a heavenly cantata. The psalmist says “sing a new song”. What can we do to change our world? We need to be aware of God. Know that He is the creator and we are his people. God cares for you and your family. His pleasure is blessing you in response to your praises and worship. When we learn to take our worship outside of the walls of our homes and share with our friends and family, the beauty of a God relationship, we will make an impact on the world around us. He is the shepherd of our hearts and will lead us through the storms of life. Get excited dear Brother and Sister great is the Lord OUR Shepherd. Praise Him for his love and His loyalty for us. Our Nation needs to recognize how He loves us. Every believer can thrill that he will never abandon us. Stand and give Him praise and honor!!!

PRAYER: Thank you Lord for being there for us and caring for us and loving us and paying the price for our sins. You have purchased forgiveness by your sacrifice. Now Lord we want to be “living sacrifices” for you. We pray for you to use us this day as a witness of your love relationship. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.

We must always be aware of whom surrounds us. Approach sinners earnestly to win them over to a God filled life. Being aware that we to were once lost in sin. We can keep the first thing first, salvation through the blood of the lamb, Jesus. “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. Resist him, steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same sufferings are experienced by your brotherhood in the world.” 1 Peter 5:8-9 NKJV.

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully Feast in the book of I Samuel 29. Today as we read in 1st Samuel, David even though he is accepted by king Achish, he is rejected to by the Philistines. He is dismissed by Achish, even when he didn’t want to fight without David. “9 Then Achish answered and said to David, "I know that you are as good in my sight as an angel of God; nevertheless the princes of the Philistines have said, ‘He shall not go up with us to the battle.’ 10 Now therefore, rise early in the morning with your master’s servants who have come with you. And as soon as you are up early in the morning and have light, depart." 11 So David and his men rose early to depart in the morning, to return to the land of the Philistines. And the Philistines went up to Jezreel.” I Samuel 29:9 -11 New King James Version (NKJV). Sometimes it feel hard to go on acting like a child of God. I noticed though that was endeared David to king Achish.

40 Days of Prayer-Devotional 33
Scripture: Psalm 101:1-8
1 ¶ My theme song is God’s love and justice, and I’m singing it right to you, GOD.
2 I’m finding my way down the road of right living, but how long before you show up? I’m doing the very best I can, and I’m doing it at home, where it counts.
3 I refuse to take a second look at corrupting people and degrading things. I reject made-in-Canaan gods, stay clear of contamination.
4 The crooked in heart keep their distance; I refuse to shake hands with those who plan evil.
5 I put a gag on the gossip that bad-mouths his neighbor; I can’t stand arrogance.
6 But I have my eye on salt-of-the-earth people—they’re the ones I want working with me; Men and women on the straight and narrow—these are the ones I want at my side.
7 But no one who traffics in lies gets a job with me; I have no patience with liars. I’ve rounded up all the wicked like cattle and herded them right out of the country.
8 I purged GOD’s city of all who make a business of evil.
How’s your vision???
In these days of decision as a nation it is important to check your vision. The correct vision is influenced by your theme song of life. If you are a people pleaser then you will have a stigmatism. There is a way that seems right but the end of the journey is destruction. Perhaps some of you reading this might have crashed and you are struggling to find peace. The only peace to be found is in Jesus. Make Jesus your theme song. Talk and sing about God’s love and justice. The person whose mind is stayed on King Jesus has perfect peace. This also applies to our nation. Let us return to placing Jesus on the throne of our hearts. The solution to the problems of life is Jesus. He has the answer for our nation. Let your eyes focus on Jesus and his people. You can identify them by the life they live. They are the ones who are walking on the Kings highway and they are the ones you need at your side. Let your votes reflect that you have talked over your vote with God. God help us to have clear vision.”

Wherever we go, whatever God has us doing it always benefits us to conduct ourselves as God’s chosen ones. Keep on keeping the first thing first, salvation through the blood of the lamb, Jesus. “For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.” Ephesians 2:8-9 NKJV.
