5 But he was pierced for our transgressions;
    he was crushed for our iniquities;
upon him was the chastisement that brought us peace,
    and with his wounds we are healed.
All we like sheep have gone astray;
    we have turned—every one—to his own way;
and the Lord has laid on him
    the iniquity of us all.
    he was crushed for our iniquities;
upon him was the chastisement that brought us peace,
    and with his wounds we are healed.
All we like sheep have gone astray;
    we have turned—every one—to his own way;
and the Lord has laid on him
    the iniquity of us all. Isaiah 53:5-6, English Standard Version (ESV)

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully read our Feast in 1 Chronicles, Chapter 8; “Genealogies.

- Here is a larger list of Benjamin's tribe. We may suppose that many things in these genealogies, which to us seem difficult, abrupt, and perplexed, were plain and easy at that time, and fully answered the intention for which they were published. Many great and mighty nations then were in being upon earth, and many illustrious men, whose names are now wholly forgotten; while the names of multitudes of the Israel of God are here kept in everlasting remembrance. The memory of the just is blessed. - Matthew Henry Concise.

Today we prayerfully Feast in 1 Chronicles 8.  Am I the only one who has trouble pronouncing some of these names?  No matter how we pronounce them know this; God knows them, and each of their descendants.     “39 The sons of Eshek his brother: Ulam his firstborn, Jeush the second, and Eliphelet the third. 40 The sons of Ulam were men who were mighty warriors, bowmen, having many sons and grandsons, 150. All these were Benjaminites.1 Chronicles 8:39-40, ESV. Matthew Henry said; “… Many great and mighty nations then were in being upon earth, and many illustrious men, whose names are now wholly forgotten; while the names of multitudes of the Israel of God are here kept in everlasting remembrance. The memory of the just is blessed.” Matthew Henry’s Concise Commentary.  Not one person who is born escapes the mind of God!  Jesus justifies all who turn from sin and accept him.   “38 For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, 39 nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.Romans 8:38-39, ESV.  Jesus promised that he will never leave us.  So we keep the first thing first.  That is salvation through the blood of the Lamb.  We whom Jesus justifies cannot be separated from the love of God!  If the Lord is willing I will post and send the Feast again tomorrow.
  God Bless You,
Brother Mike

Separated From The Love Of God?

The Best of the Feast

Separated From The Love Of God?

Please join with us sharing God’s Word daily. We will spend about fifteen minutes a day praying and reading every word in God’s Word in approximately three years.

3 He was despised and rejected by men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief; and as one from whom men hide their faces he was despised, and we esteemed him not.
4 Surely he has borne our griefs and carried our sorrows; yet we esteemed him stricken, smitten by God, and afflicted. Isaiah 53:3-4, English Standard Version (ESV)

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully read our Feast in 1 Chronicles, Chapter 7; “Genealogies.

- Here is no account either of Zebulun or Dan. We can assign no reason why they only should be omitted; but it is the disgrace of the tribe of Dan, that idolatry began in that colony which fixed in Laish, and called it Dan, ( Judges 18 ) and there one of the golden calves was set up by Jeroboam. Dan is omitted, ( Revelation 7 ) . Men become abominable when they forsake the worship of the true God, for any creature object. - Matthew Henry Concise.

Today we prayerfully Feast in 1 Chronicles 7.  Oh no! Not more of this Fathers, Mothers, sons and daughters?  Saints, there is a purpose for every Word in the Holy Word of God.   “40 All of these were men of Asher, heads of fathers’ houses, approved, mighty warriors, chiefs of the princes. Their number enrolled by genealogies, for service in war, was 26,000 men.1 Chronicles 7:40, ESV.  The Fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom.  This doesn’t mean to be afraid of God. It means to hold God in reverence, highest esteem, to understand there is no power higher than God.  “ 35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or danger, or sword? …37 No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. Romans 8:35, 37, ESV.  Because we “FEAR (hold in reverence, highest esteem and the highest power.) GOD”. We have faith in and love God in return.  We keep the first thing first.  That is salvation through the blood of the Lamb.  Can we be separated from the love of God?  No! Not if we wait on God, build our faith reading his Word daily and stay in a loving relationship with Jesus.  We have been sealed with the Holy Spirit; He will give us a peace that passes the understanding of this world.  If the Lord is willing I will post and send the Feast again tomorrow.
  God Bless You,
Brother Mike

WHAT KIND OF LOVE?

The Best of The  Feast

Mar. 29, 2016 1 Chronicles 6
What Kind Of Love?

21 For our sake he made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God. 2 Corinthians 5:21, English Standard Version (ESV)

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully read our Feast in 1 Chronicles, Chapter 6; “Genealogies.

- We have an account of Levi in this chapter. The priests and Levites were more concerned than any other Israelites, to preserve their descent clear, and to be able to prove it; because all the honours and privileges of their office depended upon their descent. Now, the Spirit of God calls ministers to their work, without any limit as to the families they came from; and then, as now, though believers and ministers may be very useful to the church, none but our great High Priest can make atonement for sin, nor can any be accepted but through his atonement. - Matthew Henry Concise.

Today we prayerfully Feast in 1 Chronicles 6.  Once in a while it is hard to see what God is trying to say to us.  As we read today his love should shine on our hearts.  Because of Jesus we can approach the Holy of Holies, as only the Levites could.   “20 Of Gershom: Libni his son, Jahath his son, Zimmah his son,1 Chronicles 6:20, ESV.  By whom have we been loved more than our awesome God!  “10 In this is love, not that we have loved God but that he loved us and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.1 John 4:10, ESV.   Because we have faith in and love for God we keep the first thing first.  That is salvation through the blood of the Lamb.  This faith in God’s love, gives us hope for all things in God.  If the Lord is willing I will post and send the Feast again tomorrow.
  God Bless You,
Brother Mike
