Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our Feast reading Isaiah Chapter 17. Because Damascus won’t cease rebelling against God (see Jeremiah 49:23-27) she will be destroyed. The enemies of God’s people (see Psalm 83:13) will be carried away like chaff before the wind. “14 Then behold, at eventide, trouble! And before the morning, he is no more. This is the portion of those who plunder us, And the lot of those who rob us.” Isaiah 17:14  NKJV.   God rebuked the terror of the enemies (see Joel 3:2) of His people.  “10 let it be known to you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified, whom God raised from the dead, by Him this man stands here before you whole. 12 Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved."” Acts 4:10,12 ESV.   Every person God calls (see Acts 3:6) receives more than they give up by following Jesus.  Whatever we gave up following Jesus (see Mark 8:36) was not worth what we gained. If the Lord is willing I will write and post the Feast tomorrow.

Can you feel Jesus calling you?  Do you still hear (see Romans 1:24-25) him calling?  Do you want to find true happiness, peace and purpose in your life?  If the answer is yes to any of these questions please click the following link; http://admenu.com/calling.html.

Is It Enough To Submit To God?

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our Feast reading Isaiah Chapter 16.   Moab is being warned to stop sinning submit to God and by His righteousness, (see Daniel 7:27) God will forgive your sin.   Those who won’t be counselled by God’s Word (see Zephaniah 2:10) can’t be saved. “13 This is the word which the Lord has spoken concerning Moab since that time. 14 But now the Lord has spoken, saying, “Within three years, as the years of a hired man, the glory of Moab will be despised with all that great multitude, and the remnant will be very small and feeble.””   Isaiah 16:13-14  NKJV.   God sent Jesus to redeem those lost in their own sin (see John 3:16) to demonstrate His love for all people.  “5 But also for this very reason, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue, to virtue knowledge, 6 to knowledge self-control, to self-control perseverance, to perseverance godliness, 7 to godliness brotherly kindness, and to brotherly kindness love. 8 For if these things are yours and abound, you will be neither barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.”  2 Peter 1:5-8 NKJV.  We cannot coerce people to accept Jesus.  What does God really expect from (see Psalm 33:1) His Saints.  If God just wanted obedience he could have just created robots!   God sent Jesus to redeem us because He wants us to love Him (Father, Son and Holy Ghost) with our (see Psalm 33:18) whole being. If the Lord is willing I will write and post the Feast tomorrow.

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our Feast reading Isaiah Chapter 15.    When Ungodly men, in trouble, they can find no comfort. Seldom do they call out to our forgiving God with sincere repentance and believing prayer. “9 For the waters of Dimon will be full of blood; Because I will bring more upon Dimon, Lions upon him who escapes from Moab, And on the remnant of the land."“ Isaiah 15:9 NKJV.   As for those who seek out Jesus they will find true freedom and be comforted (see Acts 9:31) by the Holy Spirit“28 And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.”  Romans 8:28 NKJV.   We who have had our sin forgive must become ambassadors (see 2 Corinthians 5:20) sharing the love and peace of our God with all people.  Once again we are reminded of our calling; We are called to share (see Matthew 28:18-20) the good news so that any person who wants to can accept Jesus, repent and join the family of God. If the Lord is willing I will write and post the Feast tomorrow.

Today’s Verse; ”Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus, who, being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God, but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men. And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross.” Philippians 2:5-8  NKJV.

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our Feast reading Isaiah Chapter 14.   God’s whole plan for (see 2 Chronicles 36:22-23) those who love and yield to Him.  What those who persecute God’s people can (see Isaiah 37:36) expect. Assurance of the obliteration of the Philistines by famine and war (see Isaiah 28:16) is given by God.   “22 “For I will rise up against them,” says the Lord of hosts, “And cut off from Babylon the name and remnant, And offspring and posterity,” says the Lord. 23 “I will also make it a possession for the porcupine, And marshes of muddy water; I will sweep it with the broom of destruction,” says the Lord of hosts.“ Isaiah 14:22-23 NKJV.   God promises those that love him and are called according to His purpose (see Romans 8:28) will be successful in what they do.  “4 by which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.” 2 Peter 1:4 NKJV.   We weren’t called to judge people but rather to (see Proverbs 4:14) avoid joining in their sin.  That won’t work if discernment is passed off as judgment. We are called to share (see Matthew 28:18-20) the good news so that any person who wants to can accept Jesus, repent and join the family of God. If the Lord is willing I will write and post the Feast tomorrow.

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our Feast reading Isaiah Chapter 13.   Those God called to lay waist are called; God’s (see Isaiah 13:3) mighty ones.  Do you think God was unfair in the destruction of Babylon?  No! God warned those who were living in iniquity (see Revelation 18:4) to come out of Babylon.  Those that lived and perished in Babylon were proud and haughty.  They continually sinned against (see Psalm 104:35) God.  So God laid waste to that mighty city; it became a habitat of wild animals.  “21 But wild beasts of the desert will lie there, And their houses will be full of owls; Ostriches will dwell there, And wild goats will caper there. 22 The hyenas will howl in their citadels, And jackals in their pleasant palaces. Her time is near to come, And her days will not be prolonged."“  Isaiah 13:21-22  NKJV.  God’s Word teaches us that; the wages of sin are (like cancer) death.  Sin is to be eschewed (see Ephesians 5:15-20) whether it be a person, a people or a nation.  “9 Therefore know that the Lord your God, He is God, the faithful God who keeps covenant and mercy for a thousand generations with those who love Him and keep His commandments;” Deuteronomy 7:9 NKJV.   We have not been called to judge people but rather to be discerning (see Proverbs 4:14) avoiding taking part in the sin.  In doing so as ambassadors (see 2 Corinthians 5:20) for Jesus we carry the good news (see Acts 13:31-33) to those who are dying in sin. If the Lord is willing I will write and post the Feast tomorrow.
