Boast Not About Tomorrow
Please join us sharing God’s Word
daily. We will spend about fifteen
minutes a day praying and reading every word in God’s Word in approximately
three years. Gods Not Dead!
“17 Thus says the Lord, your Redeemer, The
Holy One of Israel: "I am the Lord your God, Who teaches you to profit,
Who leads you by the way you should go.” Isaiah 48:17 New King James Version (NKJV).
Dear
Saints,
Today we prayerfully continue
our Feast by reading the book of James Chapter 4; We are warned against pride
(James 4:1-6) and the love of the world. We
are instructed to be humble (James 4:7-10) and submit to the Lord. We
are warned against (James 4:11-12) speaking evil of our fellow
Saints. We are warned against even boasting against tomorrow “13 Come
now, you who say, “Today or tomorrow we will go to such and such a city,
spend a year there, buy and sell, and make a profit”; 14 whereas you do not
know what will happen tomorrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapor
that appears for a little time and then vanishes away. 15 Instead you ought
to say, “If the Lord wills, we shall live and do this or that.” 16 But now
you boast in your arrogance. All such boasting is evil.” James 4:13-16 NKJV. We who
follow Jesus and read His Holy Word and do not do good, are without excuse; “17
Therefore, to him who knows to do good and does not do it, to him it is sin.” James 4:17 NKJV. Those who
rebel and turn away from God (Matthew 13:14-15) will have their senses
dulled until the judgment day. If the Lord is willing I will write and share
the Feast tomorrow.
Can you still hear Jesus
calling you? Are you ready to grow? Do
you want to find true happiness, peace, and purpose in your life? If the answer is yes to any of these
questions, please click the following link; http://admenu.com/calling.html.
Today’s Verse; “And if it
seems evil to you to serve the Lord, choose for yourselves this day whom you
will serve, whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other
side of the River, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you dwell. But
as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.””; Joshua 24:15 NKJV.
God Bless you,
Brother Mike

“37 for by your
words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned.”” Matthew 12:37 New King James Version
(NKJV).
Dear
Saints,
Today we prayerfully continue our Feast by
reading the book of James Chapter 3; The tongue a small member of our
body (James 3:1-12 ) if it is left unbridled it
can destroy the whole body. We are instructed to be humble and
wise (James 3:13-18) as we plant seeds of peace, and
attain justice; “17 But the wisdom that is from above is first pure,
then peaceable, gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits,
without partiality and without hypocrisy. 18 Now the fruit of righteousness
is sown in peace by those who make peace.” James 3:17-18 NKJV. Those who
are mature follow Jesus (Philippians 3:15) and depend on the Holy Spirit
for guidance in thought and deed. “17 Thus says the Lord,
your Redeemer, The Holy One of Israel: "I am the Lord your God, Who
teaches you to profit, Who leads you by the way you should go.” Isaiah 48:17 NKJV. Those who
rebel and turn away from God (Matthew 13:14-15) will have their senses dulled
until the judgment day. If the Lord is willing I will write and share the
Feast tomorrow.

Today’s Verse; “[ Pray for
All Men ] Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers,
intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all
who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all
godliness and reverence. ”; 1 Timothy 2:1-2 NKJV.

“6 Train up a child in the
way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it.” Proverbs 22:6 New King James Version
(NKJV).
Dear Saints,
Today we prayerfully continue
our Feast by reading the book of James Chapter 2;There is no room for partiality in the
life of those who are called “Christians” (James 2:1-13) if you treat some people better
than others, you are sinning. We are
saved by faith and not by works (James 2:14-26) the faith we have in Jesus must
produce good works; “ 24
You see then that a man is justified by works, and not by faith only. 25
Likewise, was not Rahab the harlot also justified by works when she received
the messengers and sent them out another way? 26 For as the body without the
spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.” James 2:24-26 NKJV. Faith in Jesus is the only thing that saves
anyone (Ephesians 2:8-9) therefor we cannot brag about
the works produced by our faith. We
hear people complaining about what the politicians and judges do with great
fervor. If they would put the same
passion into their prayer life God would hear from heaven and heal our land;
“14 if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray
and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from
heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.” 2 Chronicles 7:14 NKJV. There is only one name under heaven by
which people can be saved (see John 14:6) that is our Lord and Savior Jesus
Christ. If the Lord is willing I will write and share the Feast tomorrow.
Is Jesus calling you? Do you want to live a good life? Do you want to find true happiness, peace

Today’s Verse; “having made
known to us the mystery of His will, according to His good pleasure which He
purposed in Himself, that in the dispensation of the fullness of the times He
might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven
and which are on earth—in Him.”; Ephesians 1:9-10 NKJV.

Faith and Wisdom
The Best of the Feast
Faith and Wisdom

“1 Now faith is the substance
of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” Hebrews 11:1 New King James Version (NKJV).
An overview;
of the book of James: “This epistle of
James is one of the most instructive writings in the New Testament. Being
chiefly directed against particular errors at that time brought in among the
Jewish Christians, it does not contain the same full doctrinal statements as
the other epistles, but it presents an admirable summary of the practical
duties of all believers. The leading truths of Christianity are set forth
throughout; and on attentive consideration, it will be found entirely to
agree with St. Paul’s statements concerning grace and justification, while it
abounds with earnest exhortations to the patience of hope and obedience of
faith and love, interspersed with warnings, reproofs, and encouragements,
according to the characters addressed. The truths laid down are very serious,
and necessary to be maintained; and the rules for practice ought to be
observed in all times. In Christ there are no dead and sapless branches,
faith is not an idle grace; wherever it is, it brings forth fruit in works.“
– Matthew Henry Concise Commentary
Dear
Saints,
Today we prayerfully continue
our Feast by reading the book of James Chapter 1; The testing of our faith serves
to build and strengthen our faith in Jesus (James 1:1-11) so we can endure both the good
and bad times. God is good He sent His only son Jesus to save us (James 1:12-18) the perfect gift that overcame
sin and death. We must be humble and obey Jesus (James 1:19-21) sharing the good news in a
manner that glorifies God. It is not enough to be in church every
Sunday and Wednesday hearing the Word of God (James 1:22-25) we must be doing God’s Word with
every deed we do and word we speak. We don’t deceive ourselves
with an unbridled tongue, we must bring our heart and mind into submission in
Jesus; “26 If anyone among you thinks he is religious, and does not
bridle his tongue but deceives his own heart, this one’s religion is useless.
27 Pure and undefiled religion before God and the Father is this: to visit
orphans and widows in their trouble, and to keep oneself unspotted from the
world.” James 1:26-27 NKJV. We must continually
strive to discipline our whole self, mind, and body (Ephesians 6:11-13) to serve God in every
circumstance. Similarly we must train our earthly and spiritual children
to honor and obey the Holy Spirit; “6 Train up a child in the way he
should go, And when he is old he will not depart from it” Proverbs 22:6 NKJV. We have enduring
faith because of God’s power (1 Corinthians 2:5) and not because of
human wisdom If the Lord is willing I will write and share the Feast tomorrow.
Do you hear Jesus calling you?
Do you want answer God’s call?
Do you want to find true happiness, peace, and purpose in your
life? If the answer is yes to any of
these questions, please click the following link; http://admenu.com/calling.html.
Today’s
Verse; “6 For because of this you also pay taxes, for they are God’s
ministers attending continually to this very thing.”; Romans 13:6 NKJV.
God Bless you,
Brother Mike
