Friday, December 26, 2008 Exodus 5 - 7


Dear Saints,

This weekend we prayerfully continue the Feast in Exodus 5, through Exodus 7.  Our Christmas Holiday was wonderful and I hope yours was blessed also.  As this drama unfolds imagine being with Mosses and Aaron; “You shall speak all that I command you. And Aaron your brother shall speak to Pharaoh to send the children of Israel out of his land.”- Exodus 7:2.  You sons and daughters of Abraham can contact me at mlitew8@yahoo.com, for prayer http://www.forthecross.com/ .  “As for Me, behold, My covenant is with you, and you shall be a father of many nations.” Gen 17:4.   Lord willing I will send the feast again Monday.
 
“For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government20shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.” Isaiah 9:6
 
Do not wait to clean up or do better or finish anything ask Jesus just as you are!  If you don’t have a relationship with Jesus here is what you need to do ask Jesus in prayer like this.  “Dear Lord Jesus, I know I am a sinner. I need you as my personal Savior. I here and now open my heart to you. I invite you to come in. Forgive me all my sins and make me your child. I receive your gift of eternal life and thank you for it. Help me live for you every day of my life. Amen.”

Friday, December 26, 2008 Exodus 5, Pharaoh's displeasure, He increases the tasks of the Israelites. (1-9) The sufferings of the Israelites, Moses' complaint to God. (10-23).

Saturday, December 27, 2008 Exodus 6, - God renews his promise. (1-9) Moses and Aaron again sent to Pharaoh. (10-13) The parentage of Moses and Aaron. (14-30).

Sunday, December 28, 2008 Exodus 7, - Moses and Aaron encouraged. (1-7) The rods turned into serpents, Pharaoh's heart is hardened. (8-13) The river is turned into blood, The20distress of the Egyptians. (14-25).

Wednesday, December 24, 2008 Exodus 3, Christmas, Exodus 4


Dear Saints,

Christmas Eve we prayerfully continue the Feast in Exodus 3, and Exodus 4 for Christmas day.  Remember issue number one and the most important gift of all; "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in h im shall not perish but have eternal life.”- John 3:16.  You can contact me at mlitew8@yahoo.com, for prayer http://www.forthecross.com/ .  "Jesus said to him, "Today salvation has come to this house, because this man, too, is a son of Abraham.  For the Son of Man came to seek and to save what was lost." “So they hurried off and found Mary and Joseph, and the baby, who was lying in the manger. When they had seen him, they spread the word concerning what had been told them about this child, and all who heard it were amazed at what the shepherds said to them. But Mary treasured up all these things and pondered them in her heart. The shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all the things they had heard and seen, which were just as they had been told.”- Luke 2:16-20

Wednesday, December 24, 2008 Exodus 3, - Moses is born, and exposed on the river. (1-4) He is found, and brought up by Pharaoh's daughter. (5-10) Moses slays an Egyptian, and flees to Midian. (11-15) Moses marries the daughter of Jethro. (16-22) God hears the Israelites. (23-25).
Thursday, December 25, 2008 Exodus 4, - God gives Moses power to work miracles. (1-9) Moses is loth to be sent, Aaron is to assist him. (10-17) Moses leaves Midian, God's message to Pharaoh. (18-23) God's displeasure against Moses, Aaron meets him, The people believe them. (24-31).

Tuesday, December 23, 2008 Exodus 2


Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue the Feast in Exodus 2.  This week we mark the day our friend Jesus was born, by observing God’s gift to us.  “But the angel said to her, "Do not be afraid, Mary, you have found favor with God.  You will be with child and give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus.”- Luke 1:30-31.  You can contact me at mlitew8@yahoo.com, for prayer http://www.forthecross.com/ . “I will lead the blind by ways they have not known, along unfamiliar paths I will guide them; I will turn the darkness into light before them and make the rough places smooth.   These are the things I will do; I will not forsake them." - Isaiah 42:16

Monday, December 22, 2008 Exodus 1


Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue the Feast in Exodus 1.  This week we celebrate the most awesome gift to all the world.  ‘And there were shepherds living out in the fields nearby, keeping watch over their flocks at night. An angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were terrified. But the angel said to them, "Do not be afraid. I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people. An Overview Exodus
“The Book of Exodus relates the forming of the children of Israel into a church and a nation. We have hitherto seen true religion shown in domestic life, now, we begin to trace its effects upon the concerns of kingdoms and nations. Exodus signifies "the departure;" the chief event therein recorded is the departure of Israel from Egypt and Egyptian bondage; it plainly points out the fulfilling of several promises and prophecies to Abraham respecting his seed, and shadows forth the state of the church, in the wilderness of this world, until her arrival at the heavenly Canaan, an eternal rest.” - Henrys’ Concise

The Weekend Feast, Friday, December 19, 2008


Dear Saints,

This weekend we prayerfully continue our feast in Matthew 26, Matthew 27 and Matthew 28 for Saturday and Sunday respectively, this will finish the book of Matthew. People have a tendency to judge others by first site. Remember wherever you look from the homeless to the policeman all have sinned and need Jesus. “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of th e Holy Spirit,  Mat 28:20 teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, to the end of the age." Amen.  (Matthew 28:19-20).  Lord willing I will send the feast again Monday.
 
“And you, my child, will be called a prophet of the Most High; for you will go on before the Lord to prepare the way for him, to give his people the knowledge of salvation through the forgiveness of their sins, because of the tender mercy of our God, by which the rising sun will come to us from heaven”- Luke 1:76-78

(31-34) He is crucified. (35-44) The death of Christ. (45-50) Events at the crucifixion. (51-56) The burial of Christ. (57-61) The sepulchre secured. (62-66).
Sunday, December 21, 2008, Matthew 28 - Christ's resurrection. (1-8) He appears to the women. (9,10) Confession of the soldiers. (11-15) Christ's commission to his disciples. (16-20).

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue the Feast in Matthew 23.  Thank you all for sharing Jesus with me.  Over the years I have learned there is nothing that compares to the peace that passes understanding.  ‘All your children shall be taught by the Lord, And great shall be the peace of your children. The Feast

Dear Saints,
Today we prayerfully continue our feast in - Matthew 25. My excuse for being late is snow + I wrote this on my cell phone. Please keep me in your prayers as we Feast together. Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances you may have against one another. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. ( Colossians 3:13 ) .
