The Feast

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our Feast in John - Chapter 13, We thank Jesus for the opportunity to freely share his word; "By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another." - John 13:35. We are truly blessed in that we can share His love. If our Lord is willing I'll send and post the Feast tomorrow.

Wed, Aug 12, 09, John - Chapter 13, Christ washes the disciples' feet. (1-17) The treachery of Judas foretold. (18-30) Christ commands the disciples to love one another. (31-38).

The Feast

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our Feast in John - Chapter 12, In today's Feast A voice from heaven bears testimony to Christ; "'Father, glorify Your name.' Then a voice came from heaven, [saying], "I have both glorified [it] and will glorify [it] again.'" - John 12:28. We are rich in that Jesus ransomed us, giving us eternal life, so when we accept him and turn from our sin we begin to live a new and eternal life with our God. If our Lord is willing I'll send and post the Feast tomorrow.

“I rejoice in following your statutes as one rejoices in great riches.”- Psalm 119:14

Tue, Aug 11, 09, John - Chapter 12, Christ anointed by Mary. (1-11) He enters Jerusalem. (12-19) Greeks apply to see Jesus. (20-26) A voice from heaven bears testimony to Christ. (27-33) His discourse with the people. (34-36) Unbelief of the Jews. (37-43) Christ's address to them. (44-50).

The Feast

Dear Saints,
Today we prayerfully continue our Feast in John - Chapter 11, In today's Feast we'll see Jesus, risking his life going back to Judea, the disciple Thomas exclaims; ”Let's go also, that we may die with him." Here Jesus shows who he is overcoming the death of Lazarus. "So Jesus said to them plainly then, 'Lazarus is dead.'" - John 11:14. If our Lord is willing I'll send and post the Feast tomorrow.

Mon, Aug 10, 09, John - Chapter 11, The sickness of Lazarus. (1-6) Christ returns to Judea. (7-10) The death of Lazarus. (11-16) Christ arrives at Bethany. (17-32) He raises Lazarus. (33-46) The Pharisees consult against Jesus. (47-53) The Jews seek for him. (54-57).

This weekend we prayerfully continue our Feast in John - Chapter 8, John - Chapter 9 & John - Chapter 10. Dear Christian, I pray you all have a good weekend. "Most assuredly, I tell you, he who doesn`t enter by the door into the sheep fold, but climbs up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber. But he who enters in by the door is the shepherd of the sheep." - John 10:1- 2. When dealing with those who don't know Jesus, think about the grace that was needed to save you and I. Lord willing I will send & post the feast again Monday.

“Good will come to him who is generous and lends freely, who conducts his affairs with justice.”- Psalm 112:5

Sat, August 8, 2009, John - Chapter 9, - Christ give sight to one born blind. (1-7) The account given by the blind man. (8-12) The Pharisees question the man that had been blind. (13-17) They ask concerning him. (18-23) They cast him out. (24-34) Christ's words to the man that had been blind. (35-38) He reproves the Pharisees. (39-41).

Sun, August 9, 2009, John - Chapter 10 - The parable of the good shepherd. (1-5) Christ the Door. (6-9) Christ the good Shepherd. (10-18) The Jews' opinion concerning Jesus. (19-21) His discourse at the feast of dedication. (22-30) The Jews attempt to stone Jesus. (31-38) He departs from Jerusalem. (39-42).

Dear Saints, 
Today we prayerfully continue our Feast in John - Chapter 6, I hope you can see this “IRS” graphic symbol I've embedded here in the Feast. What do you think Jesus would say concerning the Internal Revenue Service? This was his answer to taxes in the book of Matthew; " Show Me the tax money.” So they brought Him a denarius. And He said to them, 'Whose image and inscription is this?' They said to Him, “Caesar’s.” And He said to them, 'Render therefore to Caesar the things that are Caesar’s, and to God the things that are God’s.' When they had heard these words, they marveled, and left Him and went their way.” - Matthew 20:19-22. if our Lord is willing I'll send and post the Feast tomorrow.
