Tue, Aug 25, 09, 1 Samuel - Chapter 1

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our Feast beginning in 1 Samuel - Chapter 1, Jesus is the only way to gain forgiveness and salvation; “Jesus said to him, " I AM THE WAY, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. ” - John14:6. As they used to tout in the early nineteen seventies; “God said it, I believe it and that settles it! If our Lord is willing I'll send and post the Feast tomorrow.

“And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward {is} with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.” - Revelation 22:12

I Samuel (overview)

“In this book we have an account of Eli, and the wickedness of his sons; also of Samuel, his character and actions. Then of the advancement of Saul to be the king of Israel, and his ill behavior, until his death made way for David's succession to the throne, who was an eminent type of Christ. David's patience, modesty, constancy, persecution by open enemies and feigned friends, are a pattern and example to the church, and to every member of it. Many things in this book encourage the faith, hope, and patience of the suffering believer. It contains also many useful cautions and awful warnings.” Henry's Concise

Tue, Aug 25, 09, 1 Samuel - Chapter 1, Elkanah and his family. (1-8) Hannah's prayer. (9-18) Samuel, Hannah presents him to the Lord. (19-28).

Mon, August 24, 2009, Ruth - Chapter 4

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully finish our Feast in Ruth - Chapter 4, and if I'm correct we gentiles through Boaz who stood up and took Ruth as a wife brought gentiles into the blood line of Jesus. Such a short book brings about a significant and important change to the blood line of Jesus. "Salmon begot Boaz, and Boaz begot Obed; Obed begot Jesse, and Jesse begot David ” - Ruth 4:21-22. If our Lord is willing I'll send and post the Feast tomorrow and remember I also accept prayerful. correction.

“I love the LORD, for he heard my voice; he heard my cry for mercy. Because he turned his ear to me, I will call on him as long as I live.”- Psalm 116:1-2

This weekend we prayerfully continue our Feast beginning with; Ruth - Chapter 1 - 3 . I pray you all have a good weekend. "So then, they are no longer two but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let not man separate." - Matthew 19:6. Please pray for all the Saints and Jeffery & Kristen married 1 week today! Fri, August 21, 2009, Ruth - Chapter 1, - Elimelech and his sons die in the land of Moab. (1-5) Naomi returns home. (6-14) Orpah stays behind, but Ruth goes with Naomi. (15-18) They come to Bethlehem. (19-22)

Sat, August 22, 2009, Ruth - Chapter 2, - Ruth gleans in the field of Boaz. (1-3) The kindness of Boaz to Ruth. (4-16) Ruth returns to her mother-in-law. (17-23).

Sun, August 23, 2009, Ruth - Chapter 3, - The directions given to Ruth by Naomi. (1-5) Boaz acknowledges the duty of a kinsman. (6-13) Ruth's return to her mother-in-law. (14-18).

John - Chapter 21

The Feast

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our Feast in John - Chapter 21, remember that faith comes
by hearing. “And there are also many other things that Jesus did, which if they were
written one by one, I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that
would be written. Amen.” - John 21:25. If our Lord is willing I'll send and post the Feast
