Dear Saints,

This weekend we prayerfully continue our Feast in 1st Samuel - Chapter 25-27, and the Feast goes on, our God is AWESOME! “Sing to the LORD, all the earth; proclaim his salvation day after day. Declare his glory among the nations, This marvelous deeds among all peoples. ”- 1 Chronicles 16:23-24. Remember we may be the only Christian contact some person(s) will come in contact with, share Jesus' Grace. our Lord is willing I'll send and post the Feast again Monday.

“Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit, but in humility consider others better than yourselves. Each of you should look not only to your own interests, but also to the interests of others.”- Philippians 2:3-4

Fri, September 18, 2009, 1 Samuel 25, - Death of Samuel. (1) David's request; Nabal's churlish refusal. (2-11) David's intention to destroy Nabal. (12-17) Abigail takes a present to David. (18-31) He is pacified, Nabal dies. (32-39) David takes Abigail to wife. (39-44).

Sat, September 19, 2009, 1 Samuel 26, Saul goes after David, who again spares Saul's life. (1-12) David exhorts Saul. (13-20) Saul acknowledges his sin. (21-25).

Sun, September 20, 2009, 1 Samuel 27, - David retires to Gath. (1-7) David deceives Achish. (8-12).

The Feast

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our Feast in 1st Samuel - Chapter 24, Wow Indiana Jones had nothing on David! Can you imagine Saul and three thousand soldiers in the mouth of the cave where David and his men are hiding. “And David said to Saul: "Why do you listen to the words of men who say, 'Indeed David seeks your harm'?” - 1Samuel 24:9. God delivers Saul into David's hand, out of respect, David shows Saul that he has no intention of taking his life. If our Lord is willing I'll send and post the Feast tomorrow.

Wed, Sep 16, 09, 1 Samuel - Chapter 23, David rescues Keilah. (1-6) God warns him to escape from Keilah. (7-13) Jonathan comforts David. (14-18) He is rescued from Saul by an invasion of the Philistines. (19-29).

Today we prayerfully continue our Feast in 1st Samuel - Chapter 21, What did Saul do to fall out of God's grace? “The LORD said to Samuel, "How long will you mourn for Saul, since I have rejected him as king over Israel? Fill your horn with oil and be on your way; I am sending you to Jesse of Bethlehem. I have chosen one of his sons to be king.'” 1 Samuel 16:1 What can we do to fall out of God's grace? “Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said, "Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you." - Hebrews 13:5. Look twice and don't be deceived concerning the loss of Salvation and the lose of a Kingdom. Jesus is our protector our savior, he will never leave or forsake us, thank you Jesus. If our Lord is willing I'll send and post the Feast tomorrow.

“And so we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in him.”- 1 John 4:16

Today we prayerfully continue our  Feast in 1st Samuel - Chapter 21, I pray you shared your good weekend with others. Things are heating up for David! “ I will not fear the tens of thousands drawn up against me on every side. Arise, O LORD! Deliver me, O my God! Strike all my enemies on the jaw; break the teeth of the wicked.”- Psalm 3:6-7. What a friend and protector our God is, thank you Jesus, for our faith is all that you ask.
