The Feast

Dear Saints,
Today we prayerfully continue by finishing our Feast in 1st Samuel - Chapter 31, Thank you for finishing another book with me. “Jesus answered, "It is written: 'Man does not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.' "” - Matthew 4:4. If our Lord is willing I'll send and post the Feast tomorrow, we will continue our feast in 2^nd Samuel Chapter 1.

“So do not throw away your confidence; it will be richly rewarded. You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what he has promised.”- Hebrews 10:35-36

Wed, Sep 23, 09, 1 Samuel - Chapter 30, Ziklag spoiled by the Amalekites. (1-6) David overtakes the Amalekites. (7-15) He recovers what had been lost. (16-20) David's distribution of the spoil. (21-31).

The Feast

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our  Feast in 1st Samuel - Chapter 28, Is this the same Saul that had all put away from the land all those who had control of spirits and who made use of secret arts. “So Saul, putting on other clothing, so that he might not be seen to be the king, took two men with him and went to the woman by night; and he said, Now, with the help of the spirit which you have, make the person whose name I will give you come up.” - 1Samuel 28:8. This is proof perfect that we are supposed to consult our God only about our lives burn the horoscopes and Ouija boards so to speak. If our Lord is willing I'll send and post the Feast tomorrow.

“May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all.”- 2 Corinthians 13:14

Declare his glory among the nations, This marvelous deeds among all peoples. ”- 1 Chronicles 16:23-24. “Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit, but in humility consider others better than yourselves. Each of you should look not only to your own interests, but also to the interests of others.”- Philippians 2:3-4

Fri, September 18, 2009, 1 Samuel 25, - Death of Samuel. (1) David's request; Nabal's churlish refusal. (2-11) David's intention to destroy Nabal. (12-17) Abigail takes a present to David. (18-31) He is pacified, Nabal dies. (32-39) David takes Abigail to wife. (39-44).

Sat, September 19, 2009, 1 Samuel 26, Saul goes after David, who again spares Saul's life. (1-12) David exhorts Saul. (13-20) Saul acknowledges his sin. (21-25).

Sun, September 20, 2009, 1 Samuel 27, - David retires to Gath. (1-7) David deceives Achish. (8-12).

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our Feast in 1st Samuel - Chapter 24, Wow Indiana Jones had nothing on David! Can you imagine Saul and three thousand soldiers in the mouth of the cave where David and his men are hiding. “And David said to Saul: "Why do you listen to the words of men who say, 'Indeed David seeks your harm'?” - 1Samuel 24:9. God delivers Saul into David's hand, out of respect, David shows Saul that he has no intention of taking his life. If our Lord is willing I'll send and post the Feast tomorrow.
