Dear Saints,

You and I prayerfully continue our Feast today in Acts - Chapter 4 . What is going on here? OIne day reaching out in Jesus name the next you’re headed to prison? Concerning reaching out in Jesus name; “And his name, through faith in his name, has made this man strong, whom you see and have knowledge of: yes, the faith which is through him has made him well, before you all.” – Acts 3:16. We see they do not take the credit for the healing of the beggar. I’m sure there was people who believed that his healing was trickery

I tell you as we prayerfully continue our Feast today in Acts - Chapter 3, Wow this is great feasting we see new Saints and new controversy, logistics this is an exciting book. Just entering the Temple turns into an event; “When he saw Peter and John about to enter, he asked them for money. Peter looked straight at him, as did John. Then Peter said, "Look at us!" So the man gave them his attention, expecting to get something from them.” – Acts 3:3 - 5. He was looking for money so he could eat, what did they give him? Dear Saints,

I Tell you as we prayerfully continue our Feast today in Acts - Chapter 2, When we read here of the excitement and ridicule that came with the filling of the Holy Spirit it is easy to get caught up with all that this meant to the people that day. Some that didn’t understand said they were drunk, those that did understand were amazed that they heard in the disciples speaking their own language. So many of them missed the most important promise that was brought with the filling of the Holy Spirit! Here is the promise, that was brought to include you and I Saints; “And everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” – Acts 2: 21. “Everyone”, that is so important because all of us are included in that one word “Everyone”, it includes you and I and everyone who calls on our Lord. Here it is read all about it in Acts Chapter two. If our Lord is willing, and I am here, I'll send and post the Feast tomorrow.

“Restore to me the joy of your salvation and grant me a willing spirit, to sustain me.”- Psalm 51:12

I Tell you as we prayerfully continue our Feast today in Acts - Chapter 1, Just listen to what’s going on here, It keeps getting better! Here is the promise of the return of our Lord Jesus “After he said this, he was taken up before their very eyes, and a cloud hid him from their sight. They were looking intently up into the sky as he was going, when suddenly two men dressed in white stood beside them. "Men of Galilee," they said, "why do you stand here looking into the sky? This same Jesus, who has been taken from you into heaven, will come back in the same way you have seen him go into heaven."” – Acts 1:9-11. Acts 1 Overview

“This book unites the Gospels to the Epistles. It contains many particulars concerning the apostles Peter and Paul, and of the Christian church from the ascension of our Saviour to the arrival of St. Paul at Rome, a space of about thirty years. St. Luke was the writer of this book; he was present at many of the events he relates, and attended Paul to Rome. But the narrative does not afford a complete history of the church during the time to which it refers, or even of St. Paul's life. The object of the book has been considered to be, 1. To relate in what manner the gifts of the Holy Spirit were communicated on the day of Pentecost, and the miracles performed by the apostles, to confirm the truth of Christianity, as showing that Christ's declarations were really fulfilled. 2. To prove the claim of the Gentiles to be admitted into the church of Christ. This is shown by much of the contents of the book. A large portion of the Acts is occupied by the discourses or sermons of various persons, the language and manner of which differ, and all of which will be found according to the persons by whom they were delivered, and the occasions on which they were spoken. It seems that most of these discourses are only the substance of what was actually delivered. They relate nevertheless fully to Jesus as the Christ, the anointed Messiah.” – Henry’

Wed 14/Oct 09, 2 Samuel - Chapter 20

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our Feast in 2nd Samuel - Chapter 19. Just listen to what’s going on here; it appears that these people must be saying “Surely the Messiah is coming soon!” The only sad parts I see is most of them missed it when he does come. Do you think many of us waiting for Jesus’ return will miss it? "And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came, and those who were ready went in with him to the wedding; and the door was shut. "Afterward the other virgins came also, saying, 'Lord, Lord, open to us!' "But he answered and said, 'Assuredly, I say to you, I do not know you.'” - Matthew 25:10-12. As I read this parable it seems as fifty (50) percent of those watching are watching in vain. Now is the time to fill your lamp, now is the time to speak with Jesus to make sure he knows you. “Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness,“ – Ephesians 6:13-14. The hour of Salvation is here so while you wait make sure you’re ready.
