7-Dec-09, 1 Kings – Chap. 22

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our Feast today in 1 Kings - Chapter 22. Sometimes people tell me that the Old Testament is boring. I know that people would spend good money to see a movie with a plot like this; So she wrote letters in Ahab's name, placed his seal on them, and sent them to the elders and nobles who lived in Naboth's city with him. In those letters she wrote: "Proclaim a day of fasting and seat Naboth in a prominent place among the people. But seat two scoundrels opposite him and have them testify that he has cursed both God and the king. Then take him out and stone him to death." 1 Kings - Chapter 21:8 - 10. Remember this keep the first thing first that is salvation! If our Lord is willing, and I am here, I'll send and post the Feast tomorrow.

“Jesus said to her, "I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will live, even though he dies;”- John 11:25

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our Feast today in 1 Kings - Chapter 18. In some churches you hear Saints encouraging others to pray through. We’ve seen angels fighting to deliver God’s answer. Look at Elijah as he holds fast and “prays through”. We see his confidence demonstrated with the offering first then with the rain; “…and said to his servant, "Go up now, look toward the sea." So he went up and looked, and said, "There is nothing." And seven times he said, "Go again." “1 Kings 18:43. Please Saints “pray through” that God may supply your needs. If our Lord is willing, and I am here, I'll send and post the Feast tomorrow.

“Then Jesus declared, "I am the bread of life. He who comes to me will never go hungry, and he who believes in me will never be thirsty.”- John 6:35

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our Feast today in 1 Kings - Chapter 17. How exciting is today’s feast. God wants us to see he feeds Elijah when he can’t imagine where his next bite is coming from. In reading this, we see God telling Elijah, where to go and he takes care to make sure Elijah has what he needs for this trip. There is more miricals and blessings in today’s Feast. You’ll find out why the widow proclaimed Elijah, you man of God. “Then the woman said to Elijah, "Now I know that you are a man of God and that the word of the LORD from your mouth is the truth.” 1 Kings 17: 24. If our Lord is willing, and I am here, I'll send and post the Feast tomorrow.

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our Feast today in 1 Kings - Chapter 16. We see how our God wants us to love him with all that we are. In reading this I thought two talents of silver that seems pretty cheap to by enough land to build a city on “In the thirty-first year of Asa king of Judah, Omri became king of Israel, and he reigned twelve years, six of them in Tirzah. He bought the hill of Samaria from Shemer for two talents of silver and built a city on the hill, calling it Samaria, after Shemer, the name of the former owner of the hill.” 1 Kings 16:23 – 24. I looked up the note in study help that would tell me just how much silver that was. It is That is, about 150 pounds (about 70 kilograms) of silver. That sounded like a fair sum. What is the price paid for a sinner’s soul? You can look that up in John 3:16, find if you can fathom the price of our redemption.

I have hope that you will join me in prayer at admenu. If our Lord is willing, and I am here, I'll send and post the Feast tomorrow.

Thanksgiving Nov 26-26 09 1 Kings -11-14

image

Dear Saints

You and I prayerfully continue our next four day Feast in 1 Kings - Chapter 11 12, 13, and 14. We have seen King Solomon giving thanks for all that God has given him. Sometimes you may be unhappy with happenstance, it’s alright we live in this world and we aren’t always happy. What we always have is the joy and therefore never let the happenstance interfere with the joy God gives us. "These things I have spoken to you, that My joy may remain in you, and that your joy may be full”.- John 15:11 Satan would love to rob you of God’s joy, so give thanks, put on your armor, and stand fast in Jesus.

I have hope that you will join me in prayer at admenu. If our Lord is willing, and I am here, I'll send and post the Feast Monday.
