Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our feast in 1st Timothy 1 &. 2 . We are having strange weather all over the country.  If you need to travel do so prayerfully & obey the law.  8 We know that the law is good if one uses it properly. 9 We also know that the law is made not for the righteous but for lawbreakers and rebels, the ungodly and sinful, the unholy and irreligious, for those who kill their fathers or mothers, for murderers, 10 for the sexually immoral, for those practicing homosexuality, for slave traders and liars and perjurers—and for whatever else is contrary to the sound doctrine 11 that conforms to the gospel concerning the glory of the blessed God, which he entrusted to me.” -  1st Timothy 1:8-11, (New International Version ©2010).  This scripture describing us don’t speed or drive recklessly God left us here to share the gospel!  If we break the law we are sinning as well as breaking the law.  My dear Saint your very actions pleases or grieves the Holy Spirit; “1 I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people— 2 for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. 3 This is good, and pleases God our Savior, 4 who wants all people to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth. 5 For there is one God and one mediator between God and mankind, the man Christ Jesus, 6 who gave himself as a ransom for all people. This has now been witnessed to at the proper time. 7 And for this purpose I was appointed a herald and an apostle—I am telling the truth, I am not lying—and a true and faithful teacher of the Gentiles.” 2nd Timothy 1:1-7, (New International Version ©2010). If I am wrong or mistaken please let me know in an email or call me: 1- (760) 592-9251  So we need to let our light shane and our Life in jesus shine. Let’s continue to feast and share Jesus so our life will reflect our hearts. If God is willing, we will love him with a happy heart, and I will post and send the Feast Tomorrow.

“While they were there, the time came for the baby to be born, and she gave birth to her firstborn, a son. She wrapped him in cloths and placed him in a manger, because there was no guest room available for them.” - Luke 2:6-7 (New International Version ©2010).  Please, keep on praying, praising and feasting!

I Timothy Overview

“The design of the epistle appears to be, that Timothy having been left at Ephesus, St. Paul wrote to instruct him in the choice of proper officers in the church, as well as in the exercise of a regular ministry. Also, to caution against the influence of false teachers, who by subtle distinctions and endless disputes, corrupted the purity and simplicity of the gospel. He presses upon him constant regard to the greatest diligence, faithfulness, and zeal. These subjects occupy the first four chapters; the fifth chapter instructs respecting particular classes; in the latter part, controversies and disputes are condemned, the love of money blamed, and the rich exhorted to good works.”  - Matthew Henry Concise.

Mon, Dec. 20, 2010- Proverbs 31

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our feast in Proverbs 31.   I pray your weekend was blessed.  Today we finish Proverbs. It has been a sweet Feast, not in bragging rather in praising the Lord this scripture describes my wife; “10 A wife of noble character who can find? She is worth far more than rubies. 11 Her husband has full confidence in her and lacks nothing of value. 12 She brings him good, not harm, all the days of her life.” -  Proverbs 31:10-12, (New International Version ©2010).  This scripture describing us evenly yoked sharing Gods gifts. Men pray that your wife serves the Lord and support her!  Ladies this is how you should prayerfully be serving Jesus in your house!  Which reminds me January 6th, Praise God, we will celebrate our forty third wedding anniversary; “30 Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting; but a woman who fears the LORD is to be praised? 31 Honor her for all that her hands have done, and let her works bring her praise at the city gate.” Proverbs 31:30 & 31 (New International Version ©2010).  Let’s continue to feast and share Jesus so our life will reflect our hearts. If God is willing, we will love him with a happy heart, and I will post and send the Feast Tomorrow.

“[The Birth of Jesus] In those days Caesar Augustus issued a decree that a census should be taken of the entire Roman world.” - Luke 2:1, 4-5 (New International Version ©2010).  Please, keep on praying, praising and feasting!

Thu, Dec. 16, 2010- Proverbs 27

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our feast in Proverbs 27. It was overcast this morning when I got up. I have several tons of sod drying in my driveway. So I got a coat and gloves on, dug up a large tarp and covered the sod so the rain wouldn’t undo what I am doing. Sod is very heavy and expensive to dump. I worked for about an hour getting it covered and putting some on top to hold the tarp in place. “Do not boast about tomorrow, for you do not know what a day may bring!”– Proverbs 27:1, (New International Version ©2010). Yep as soon as I finished the clouds broke and the sun came out. “As water reflects the face, so one’s life reflects the heart.” Proverbs 27:19, (New International Version ©2010). Let’s continue to feast and share Jesus so our life will reflect our hearts. If God is willing, we will love him with a happy heart, and I will post and send the Feast tomorrow.

“[Mary’s Song] And Mary said: “My soul glorifies the Lord and my spirit rejoices in God my Savior, for the Mighty One has done great things for me— holy is his name.” - Luke 1:46-47, 49 (New International Version ©2010). Please, keep on praying, praising and feasting!

The Feast

Thu, 16 Dec 2010, Proverbs 27; “Verse 1 We know not what a day may bring forth. This does not forbid preparing for to-morrow, but presuming upon to-morrow. We must not put off the great work of conversion, that one thing needful.” Matthew Henry Concise.

Wed, Dec. 15, 2010- Proverbs 26

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our feast in Proverbs 26. What? Another beautiful day with Jesus! I was reading Proverbs twenty six this morning. I’ve said things that I shouldn’t have said, then tried to cover with “I was only kidding”; “18 Like a maniac shooting flaming arrows of death 19 is one who deceives their neighbor and says, “I was only joking!”– Proverbs 26:18 – 19, (New International Version ©2010). I’ve asked Jesus forgiveness and shared it with you so you can pray for me; “Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.” James 5:16 (New International Version, ©2010). Jesus forgave the sin, pray that I don’t get trapped by unholy, fleshly sin; “A lying tongue hates those it hurts, and a flattering mouth works ruin.” Proverbs 26:28. Thank you in advance for your prayer. If God is willing, we will love him with a happy heart, and I will post and send the Feast tomorrow.

“But the angel said to her, “Do not be afraid, Mary; you have found favor with God. You will conceive and give birth to a son, and you are to call him Jesus. He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High. The Lord God will give him the throne of his father David, and he will reign over Jacob’s descendants forever; his kingdom will never end.”” - Luke 1:30-33, (New International Version ©2010). Please, keep on praying, praising and feasting!

Early Edition

Tue, Dec. 14, 2010- Proverbs 25

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our feast in Proverbs 25.   We move forth Feasting, praising God, and promoting Jesus.  Share God’s gifts with grace, wisdom and knowledge as you enjoy the Feast, when you share Jesus you are keeping issue number one; “Like a snow-cooled drink at harvest time is a trustworthy messenger to the one who sends him; he refreshes the spirit of his master.  Like clouds and wind without rain is one who boasts of gifts never given.”– Proverbs 25:13 – 14, (New International Version ©2010).  When you tell someone I’m praying for you, pray, if you don’t you’re like the promise not kept.  We are saved by God’s gift (Jesus) and sealed with the Holy Spirit, when we accepted the Gift; 15 Through patience a ruler can be persuaded, and a gentle tongue can break a bone.” Proverbs 25:15, (New International Version ©2010).  Serve God’s gift with all the grace you can muster. You can share without becoming a nag; “Seldom set foot in your neighbor’s house too much of you, and they will hate you.” Proverbs 25:17 If God is willing, we will continue to serve him with a happy heart, and I will post and send the Feast tomorrow.

“[The Birth of Jesus Foretold] In the sixth month of Elizabeth’s pregnancy, God sent the angel Gabriel to Nazareth, a town in Galilee, to a virgin pledged to be married to a man named Joseph, a descendant of David. The virgin’s name was Mary. The angel went to her and said, “Greetings, you who are highly favored! The Lord is with you.” - Luke 1:26-28, (New International Version ©2010).  How much knowledge can we retain?

The Feast

Tue, 14 Dec 2010, Proverbs 25; “Verses 1-3 God needs not search into any thing; nothing can be hid from him. But it is the honour of rulers to search out matters, to suppress vice, and reform his people, is the best way to self-denial. He who has seen the glory of the Lord in Christ Jesus, will feel his own unworthiness….” Matthew Henry Concise.

Mon, Dec. 13, 2010- Proverbs 24

image

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our feast in Proverbs 24. We start another week anticipating our Lord Jesus birthday. Don’t get tied up debating when Jesus was actually born. God is giving you wisdom and knowledge as you enjoy the Feast, just say we are commemorating God’s gift, Jesus; “By wisdom a house is built, and through understanding it is established; through knowledge its rooms are filled with rare and beautiful treasures.”– Proverbs 24:3 – 4, (New International Version ©2010). In this Season we still keep the first thing first. We are saved by God’s gift (Jesus) and sealed with the Holy Spirit when we accepted the Gift; “5 The wise prevail through great power, and those who have knowledge muster their strength. 6 Surely you need guidance to wage war, and victory is won through many advisers.” Proverbs 24:5 & 6, (New International Version ©2010). Let’s continue together to serve our Lord. If God is willing, we will serve him with a happy heart, and I will post and send the Feast tomorrow.

“When he had called together all the people’s chief priests and teachers of the law, he asked them where the Messiah was to be born. “In Bethlehem in Judea,” they replied, “for this is what the prophet has written: “‘But you, Bethlehem, in the land of Judah, are by no means least among the rulers of Judah; for out of you will come a ruler who will shepherd my people Israel.’”” - Matthew 2:4-6

The Feast

Mon, 13 Dec 2010, Proverbs 24; “Verses 1-2 Envy not sinners. And let not a desire ever come into thy mind, Oh that I could shake off restraints! ( 3-6 ) . Piety and prudence in outward affairs, both go together to complete a wise man. By knowledge the soul is filled with the graces and comforts of the spirit, those precious and pleasant riches. The spirit is strengthened for the spiritual work and the spiritual warfare, by true wisdom.”- Matthew Henry Concise.

Dec. 17-19, 2010-Proverbs 28-30

Dear Saints,

This weekend we prayerfully continue our feast in Proverbs 28 trough Proverbs 30. Here we go into the weekend with Joy and a triple Feast. Remember, Saint you may be the only person whom can give a sinner hope; “The wicked flee though no one pur-sues, but the righteous are as bold as a lion. When a country is rebellious, it has many rulers, but a ruler with discernment and knowledge maintains order...” - Proverbs 28:1-2, (New International Version ©2010). This scripture should be describing us, that is how we are equipped to share Gods gifts. Don’t be fearful of sharing his Love, also pepper the good news with grace;“ By justice a king gives a country stability, but those who are greedy for bribes tear it down. Those who flatter their neighbors are spreading nets for their feet.” Proverbs 28:4 & 5 (New International Version ©2010). Let’s continue to feast and share Jesus so our life will reflect our hearts. If God is willing, we will love him with a happy heart, and I will post and send the Feast Monday.

“But after he had considered this, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream and said, “Joseph son of David, do not be afraid to take Mary home as your wife, because what is conceived in her is from the Holy Spirit. She will give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus, because he will save his people from their sins.” - Matthew 1:20-21 (New International Version ©2010). Please, keep on praying, praising and feasting!

The Feast

Fri,Dec,17, 2010 Proverbs 28; “Verse 1 Sin makes men cowards. Whatever difficulties the righteous meet in the way of duty, they are not daunted. Verse 2. National sins disturb the public repose.”- Matthew Henry Concise.

Sat,Dec,18, 2010 Proverbs 29; “Verse 1 If God wounds, who can heal? The word of God warns all to flee from the wrath to come, to the hope set before us in Jesus Christ. Verse 2 . The people have cause to rejoice or mourn, as their rulers are righteous or wicked ” Matthew Henry Concise.

Sun,Dec,19, 2010 Proverbs 30; “Verses 1-6 Agur speaks of himself as wanting a righ-teousness, and having done very foolishly. And it becomes us all to have low thoughts of ourselves. He speaks of himself as wanting revelation to guide him in the ways of truth and wisdom. The more enlightened people are, the more they lament their ignor-ance; the more they pray for clearer, still clearer discoveries of God, and his rich grace in Christ Jesus.” Matthew Henry Concise.
