Senior Discount Leviticus 27

7th Year 11-12 Edition 3 LEV_27
l The Feast l
Apr 5_2012 Chapter 27

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our Feast in Leviticus 27. This is the laws covering the monetary value of Vows. “Verses 1-13 Zeal for the service of God disposed the Israelites, on some occasions, to dedicate themselves or their children to the service of the Lord, in his house for life. Some persons who thus dedicated themselves might be employed as assistants; in general they were to be redeemed for a value. It is good to be zealously affected and liberally disposed for the Lord's service; but the matter should be well weighed, and prudence should direct as to what we do; else rash vows and hesitation in doing them will dishonour God, and trouble our own minds.” Leviticus 27:1-13, Matthew Henry Commentary Concise. Now with that being said we see that one should consider carefully when making a vow. God values your word. The thing that caught my eye here was how fair God is when setting the price for these vows. “1 The Lord spoke to Moses, saying, 2 “Speak to the people of Israel and say to them, If anyone makes a special vow to the Lord involving the valuation of persons, 3 then the valuation of a male from twenty years old up to sixty years old shall be fifty shekels of silver, according to the shekel of the sanctuary. 4 If the person is a female, the valuation shall be thirty shekels. 5 If the person is from five years old up to twenty years old, the valuation shall be for a male twenty shekels, and for a female ten shekels. 6 If the person is from a month old up to five years old, the valuation shall be for a male five shekels of silver, and for a female the valuation shall be three shekels of silver. 7 And if the person is sixty years old or over, then the valuation for a male shall be fifteen shekels, and for a female ten shekels. 8 And if someone is too poor to pay the valuation, then he shall be made to stand before the priest, and the priest shall value him; the priest shall value him according to what the vower can afford.” Leviticus 27:1 - 8 ESV. Saints this reminds me of everyday life here in the Stanford home. When my children were young or now doing anything with ny grandchildren that I had to pay for I looked (and still do) at the discounts. How much for the baby, the student, adult and senior pricing. I find it very interesting that God already had discounts for vows. It makes me think about a story that a pastor shared in a Sunday morning service. I need to tell it like I remember it; “At the end of a service an evangelist had an alter call. There were three people who came forward to accept Jesus. A man in his mid thirties, a woman in her mid sixties and a 12 year old child. After the service an Elder commented to the Evangelist well we got two and a half converts today. The evangelist seemed surprised and he told the elder that in his eye’s he got one and three quarters. If you look at the ages the man had about 50% of his adult life left to serve God. The elderly woman about 25% and the Child had 100% of his working life to serve God. Therefore God called forward 1.75% working lives into service that day.” Dennis Davenport, Pastor. I finally understood the parable of the vineyard workers.; “10 Now when those hired first came, they thought they would receive more, but each of them also received a denarius. 11 And on receiving it they grumbled at the master of the house, 12 saying, ‘These last worked only one hour, and you have made them equal to us who have borne the burden of the day and the scorching heat.’ 13 But he replied to one of them, ‘Friend, I am doing you no wrong. Did you not agree with me for a denarius?14 Take what belongs to you and go. I choose to give to this last worker as I give to you. 15 Am I not allowed to do what I choose with what belongs to me? Or do you begrudge my generosity?’ 16 So the last will be first, and the first last.”” Matthew 20:10 - 16. Thus we finish the Book of Leviticus, and move forward to the New Testament Feast. Just because it’s Easter it is a great time to share God’s Love.; “For the love of Christ controls us, because we have concluded this: that one has died for all, therefore all have died; and he died for all, that those who live might no longer live for themselves but for him who for their sake died and was raised.2 Corinthians 5:14-15 ESV. I’m not educated nor am I a Theologian so if I’m mistaken in the Feast or you want something added or changed on the prayer list http://www.admenu.com/am/praise.html. please write mlitew8@gmail.com. Apr 4_2012 Chapter 26

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our Feast in Leviticus 26.   Thank God we are justified by faith.  “40 “But if they confess their iniquity and the iniquity of their fathers in their treachery that they committed against me, and also in walking contrary to me, 41 so that I walked contrary to them and brought them into the land of their enemies—if then their uncircumcised heart is humbled and they make amends for their iniquity, 42 then I will remember my covenant with Jacob, and I will remember my covenant with Isaac and my covenant with Abraham, and I will remember the land.”  Leviticus 26:40 - 42  ESV.   I will say this again; ”You see God is fair with every person, He tells us that he is not willing that any should parish.”  “1 Therefore, since we have been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. 2 Through him we have also obtained access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and we rejoice in hope of the glory of God. 3 Not only that, but we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, 4 and endurance produces character, and character produces hope, 5 and hope does not put us to shame, because God's love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us.”  Romans 5:1 - 5 ESV.  Saints let’s continue move forward in Saintly Service preaching His love, His righteousness, His justification by faith.  “In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace,Ephesians 1:7 ESV.    I’m not educated nor am I a Theologian so if I’m mistaken in the Feast or you want something added or changed on the prayer list http://www.admenu.com/am/praise.html. please write mlitew8@gmail.comTo correspond with a pastor email Pastor Glen; evangelistglen@yahoo.com If the Lord is willing I’ll send and post the Feast tomorrow continuing to prepare for Saintly Service.

Law has no forgiveness Leviticus 25

7th Year 11-12 Edition 3 LEV_25
l The Feast l

Apr 3_2012 Chapter 25

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our Feast in Leviticus 25.   God bless you Saints it is a real pleasure to serve the living God with you  Here in Leviticus we see God saying his people are to be fair with their brothers and stranger’s .  “17  You shall not wrong one another, but you shall fear your God, for I am the Lord your God.”  Leviticus 25:17  ESV.   You see God is fair with every person, He tells us that he is not willing that any should parish.  “1 Therefore, since we have been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. Just as we were saved by faith in God’s love we must move forward in Saintly Service preaching His love, His righteousness, not their sin.  God’s law points out sin and it is necessary that the sinner understands that they violated Gods law.  It is just as important that they know God paid the penalty and God’s grace points out His love.  16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.”  John 3:16 ESV.   Now let’s move forward in Saintly Service keeping the first thing first.  It is Easter time which is where Jesus gave the gift of life to with a world separated by sin.  “In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace,Ephesians 1:7 ESV.   See the bookmark.  I’m not educated nor am I a Theologian so if I’m mistaken in the Feast or you want something added or changed on the prayer list http://www.admenu.com/am/praise.html. please write mlitew8@gmail.comTo correspond with a pastor email Pastor Glen; evangelistglen@yahoo.com If the Lord is willing I’ll send and post the Feast tomorrow, meanwhile continue to prepare for Saintly Service.

Don’t get caught up in “religion”, it is about a relationship.  Our salvation depends completely on God! We are the Saints that Jesus sacrificed his life to pay in full for our sin, when we repent and accept Jesus.  He will come to get every Saint; “…But concerning that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father only.” Matthew 24:36. We are building our relationship with Jesus right now, do not wait while you try to change anything.

know that a person is not justified by the works of the law, but by faith in Jesus Christ. So we, too, have put our faith in Christ Jesus that we may be justified by faith in Christ and not by the works of the law, because by the works of the law no one will be justified.” Galatians 2:15 ESV.

Love Not Sin Leviticus 24

7th Year 11-12 Edition 3 LEV_24

l The Feast l
Apr 2_2012 Chapter 24

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our Feast in Leviticus 24. God bless you Saints did you spend any of your weekend in or preparing for Saintly Service? Here in Leviticus we see God setting down the laws for people who cause death. I know even none believers can quote “an eye for an eye.” “19 If anyone injures his neighbor, as he has done it shall be done to him,20 fracture for fracture, eye for eye, tooth for tooth; whatever injury he has given a person shall be given to him.” Leviticus 24:19 - 20 ESV. The Word of God that they don’t know or care about is Blaspheme of God’s name. “16 Whoever blasphemes the name of the Lord shall surely be put to death. All the congregation shall stone him. The sojourner as well as the native, when he blasphemes the Name, shall be put to death.” Leviticus 24:16 ESV. If you watch TV at all you’ll see that. Years ago before I learned of God’s love I worked with a guy from Tennessee Every time I would use God’s name in vain he would yell out; ”Call on somebody you know!” I didn’t make sense of that until I accepted Jesus as my personal savior. I’m not sharing this because I’m proud of it. I think I would have understood sooner if he would have explained God’s love to me. “But God commendeth His love toward us in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us..Romans 5:8 NKJV. Remember God is not willing that anyone should parish. Move forward in Saintly Service preaching His love, His righteousness, not their sin. “16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.” John 3:16 ESV. Now let’s move forward in Saintly Service keeping the first thing first. It is Easter time which Is one the best time to share Jesus with a world separated by sin. “[Jesus Foretells His Death a Third Time] And as Jesus was going up to Jerusalem, he took the twelve disciples aside, and on the way he said to them, “See, we are going up to Jerusalem. And the Son of Man will be delivered over to the chief priests and scribes, and they will condemn him to death and deliver him over to the Gentiles to be mocked and flogged and crucified, and he will be raised on the third day.”Matthew 20: 17-19 ESV. I’m not educated nor am I a Theologian so if I’m mistaken in the Feast or you want something added or changed on the prayer list http://www.admenu.com/am/praise.html. please write mlitew8@gmail.com. He was despised and rejected by men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief; and as one from whom men hide their faces he was despised, and we esteemed him not. Surely he has borne our griefs and carried our sorrows; yet we esteemed him stricken, smitten by God, and afflicted.Isaiah 53:3-4 ESV.
