7th Year 11-12 Edition 3 - Deu 13-15 l The Feast l June_8-18_2012 Deu 13-15 Dear Saints, This weekend we prayerfully continue our Feast in Deuteronomy 13-15 God has a plan for you and your brother. This plan should be taken to our hearts during the economy we are in. Listen carefully to God’s plan. “8 but you shall open your hand to him and lend him sufficient for his need, whatever it may be. 9 Take care lest there be an unworthy thought in your heart and you say, ‘The seventh year, the year of release is near,’ and your eye look grudgingly on your poor brother, and you give him nothing, and he cry to the Lord against you, and you be guilty of sin. 10 You shall give to him freely, and your heart shall not be grudging when you give to him, because for this the Lord your God will bless you in all your work and in all that you undertake.” Deuteronomy 15:8-10, English Standard Version (ESV). Once again you may say to me “Brother Mike that is old testament scripture. I would remind you of the scripture we read only yesterday; “1 Let brotherly love continue. 2 Do not neglect to show hospitality to strangers, for thereby some have entertained angels unawares. 3 Remember those who are in prison, as though in prison with them, and those who are mistreated, since you also are in the body. 4 Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the marriage bed be undefiled, for God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterous.5 Keep your life free from love of money, and be content with what you have, for he has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.”” Hebrews 13:1-5 ESV. Jesus reminds us that when we feed those in need we are feeding him. “37 Then the righteous will answer him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you drink?” Matthew 25:37 ESV. There is one more little thing to think about “If anyone says, “I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen cannot love God whom he has not seen.” 1 John 4:19 ESV. So let’s make sure our hearts are right. Have a blessed weekend, continue to keep the first thing first. You are an eternal being, where you spend eternity depends on your relationship with God? If you want to be sure, turn from sin and just say this simple prayer; “Dear God, I am a sinner and need forgiveness. I believe that Jesus Christ shed His precious blood and died for my sin. I am willing to turn from sin. I now invite Christ to come into my heart and life as my personal Saviour.“ If you said this prayer inviting Jesus into your heart. Now turning from sin, and seek fellowship just as we do. We worship and fellowship in a Church (group of believers) that strives to measures up to God’s Word. You need a Bible believing body of believers (church) to worship and pray with. Our salvation depends completely on God! We are the Saints that Jesus sacrificed his life to pay in full for our sin, when we repent (turn from sin) and accept Jesus. He always makes a plan so that our freedom is more enjoyable. Listen carefully to God’s plan. “32 “Everything that I command you, you shall be careful to do. You shall not add to it or take from it.” Deuteronomy 12:32, English Standard Version (ESV). There are those who would add more to what God asks of you. Why The Feast Deuteronomy 11

7th Year 11-12 Edition 3 - Deu 11 l The Feast l June_6_2012 Deu 11 Dear Saints, Today we prayerfully continue our Feast in Deuteronomy 11 Our God is the only God, beside him there are no others!. “13 “And if you will indeed obey my commandments that I command you today, to love the Lord your God, and to serve him with all your heart and with all your soul, 14 he will give the rain for your land in its season, the early rain and the later rain, that you may gather in your grain and your wine and your oil. 15 And he will give grass in your fields for your livestock, and you shall eat and be full.” Deuteronomy 11:13 - 15, English Standard Version (ESV). Our God is faithful and true, He is worthy of our praise. Why do I continue to send out the Feast? I send the Feast out because I believe that is what God has given me for a ministry. What is the Feast? The Feast is a daily study in God's word. By reading a chapter a day we go through every word in the bible in about three years. I send the Feast out usually five days a week, the weekend Feast is for Friday Saturday and Sunday. We host a prayer list which we try to keep up on admenu. The Saints that subscribe to the Feast love to pray & they know how to be forgiving because some of them have been putting up with me for years. Faith through the Word We know where faith comes from; "17 So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ." Romans 10:17. We also know that you need to belong to a fellowship lead by God. We are not trying to fill that need. We just want to help with prayer when you need it and nourishment on a daily basis. This is why we need to keep the first thing first.
