Marching In! Luke 7-9

7th Year 11-12 Edition 3 – Luk.7-9
l The Feast l

July_6-8_2012 Luke_7-9

Dear  Saints,

This weekend we prayerfully continue our Feast in Luke 7 - Luke 9Jesus finds a measure of faith in a centurion;3 When the centurion heard about Jesus, he sent to him elders of the Jews, asking him to come and heal his servant. 4 And when they came to Jesus, they pleaded with him earnestly, saying, “He is worthy to have you do this for him, 5 for he loves our nation, and he is the one who built us our synagogue.” 6 And Jesus went with them. When he was not far from the house, the centurion sent friends, saying to him, “Lord, do not trouble yourself, for I am not worthy to have you come under my roof. 7 Therefore I did not presume to come to you. But say the word, and let my servant be healed. 8 For I too am a man set under authority, with soldiers under me: and I say to one, ‘Go,’ and he goes; and to another, ‘Come,’ and he comes; and to my servant, ‘Do this,’ and he does it.” 9 When Jesus heard these things, he marveled at him, and turning to the crowd that followed him, said, “I tell you, not even in Israel have I found such faith.” 10 And when those who had been sent returned to the house, they found the servant well. Luke 7:3-10, English Standard Version (ESV).  What kind of faith does Jesus find in us?  I know of one thing a saint can do to help build faith. This is one of the reasons for this Feast; 16 But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Isaiah says, “Lord, who has believed what he has heard from us?” 17 So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ.” John 3:16 ESV.   Jesus is the Word and he gave us his complete word in the bible.  Therefore prayerfully reading through the bible with or without us in the Feast will build your faith.  Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will not pass away.” Matthew 24:35 ESV.  So let’s continue to keep the first thing first.  That is salvation through the blood of the Lamb, Jesus.  I am not a Theologian.  So if I’m mistaken in the Feast or you want something added or changed on the prayer list. http://www.admenu.com/am/praise.html.  please write mlitew8@yahoo.comTo correspond with a pastor email Pastor Glen; evangelistglen@yahoo.com.  If the Lord is willing I’ll send and post the Feast again Monday.

To Judge or Not? Luke 6

7th Year 11-12 Edition 3 – Luk.6
l The Feast l

July_5_2012 Luke_6

Dear  Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our Feast in Luke 6.  Jesus did not save us so that we can judge others. Jesus saved us so that we could carry the good news to a world lost in sin37 “Judge not, and you will not be judged; condemn not, and you will not be condemned; forgive, and you will be forgiven; 38 give, and it will be given to you. Good measure, pressed down, shaken together, running over, will be put into your lap. For with the measure you use it will be measured back to you.” Luke 6:37-38, English  Standard Version (ESV).   Some people say that this is speaking of money.   I believe ;“ 16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.John 3:16 ESV.   Our God is strong not hateful.  Even the Old Testament tells us that loving your neighbor is in order with God’s law.  You shall not take vengeance or bear a grudge against the sons of your own people, but you shall love your neighbor as yourself: I am the LORD.” Leviticus 19:18 ESV.  That is why we keep the first thing first.  That is salvation through the blood of the Lamb, Jesus.  I am not a Theologian.  So if I’m mistaken in the Feast or you want something added or changed on the prayer list.  http://www.admenu.com/am/praise.html.  please write mlitew8@yahoo.comTo correspond with a pastor email Pastor Glen; evangelistglen@yahoo.com .  If the Lord is willing I’ll send and post the Feast again tomorrow.

Jesus is! Luke 5

7th Year 11-12 Edition 3 – Luk.5

l The Feast l
July_4_2012 Luke_5

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our Feast in Luke 5. This is where we see further proof that Jesus is the only begotten son of God. Proof that Jesus the Christ is God. “17 On one of those days, as he was teaching, Pharisees and teachers of the law were sitting there, who had come from every village of Galilee and Judea and from Jerusalem. And the power of the Lord was with him to heal. 18 And behold, some men were bringing on a bed a man who was paralyzed, and they were seeking to bring him in and lay him before Jesus, 19 but finding no way to bring him in, because of the crowd, they went up on the roof and let him down with his bed through the tiles into the midst before Jesus. 20 And when he saw their faith, he said, “Man, your sins are forgiven you.”” Luke 5:17-20, English Standard Version (ESV). Did you notice that immediately after this the Pharisees confirmed that Jesus had to be God. Our God is awesome and great, we praise Him, here is the confirmation;“21 And the scribes and the Pharisees began to question, saying, “Who is this who speaks blasphemies? Who can forgive sins but God alone?” 22 When Jesus perceived their thoughts, he answered them, “Why do you question in your hearts? 23 Which is easier, to say, ‘Your sins are forgiven you,’ or to say, ‘Rise and walk’? 24 But that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins”—he said to the man who was paralyzed—“I say to you, rise, pick up your bed and go home.””
Luke 5:21-24 ESV. Then it is true that our faith comes from hearing the Word of God. We are thankful for our salvation, His love, and all He has done for us. Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD, the people whom he has chosen as his heritage!” Psalm 33:12 ESV. Let’s continue to keep the first thing first. That is salvation through the blood of the Lamb, Jesus. I am not a Theologian. Storming the gates of hell! Luke 4

7th Year 11-12 Edition 3 – Luk.4
l The Feast l

July_3_2012 Luke 4

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our Feast in Luke 4. We see our Lord and savior, Jesus teaching in the synagogue. “16 And he came to Nazareth, where he had been brought up. And as was his custom, he went to the synagogue on the Sabbath day, and he stood up to read. 17 And the scroll of the prophet Isaiah was given to him. He unrolled the scroll and found the place where it was written,

18 “The Spirit of the Lord is upon me,
because he has anointed me
to proclaim good news to the poor.
He has sent me to proclaim liberty to the captives
and recovering of sight to the blind,
to set at liberty those who are oppressed,
19 to proclaim the year of the Lord's favor.”
20 And he rolled up the scroll and gave it back to the attendant and sat down. And the eyes of all in the synagogue were fixed on him. 21 And he began to say to them, “Today this Scripture has been fulfilled in your hearing.”” Luke-4:16-21, English Standard Version (ESV). Jesus himself was telling theologians in the synagogue that He, Jesus was fulfilling the prophesy of Isaiah in the Old Testament. Has God changed in any way? Our God is awesome and great, we praise Him. I think not, Jesus delivered us from slavery and death in sin. He was setting an example of what we need to pray for in his name. He set's the apostles up for an example to us;“ 18 And I tell you, you are Peter, and in this rock I will build my church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. 19 I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.”” Matthew 16:18-20 ESV. We are thankful for our salvation, His love and all He has done for us. Keep in mind Saints we are soldiers in the war for righteousness, truth, life and love. Every time we pray in Jesus name or share his love to those lost in sin, we are storming the gates of hell. “Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a reproach to any people.” Proverbs 14:34 ESV. Let’s continue to keep the first thing first. That is salvation through the blood of the Lamb, Jesus. I am not a Theologian. So if I’m mistaken in the Feast or you want something added or changed on the prayer list. http://www.admenu.com/am/praise.html. please write mlitew8@yahoo.com. Like John? Luke 3

7th Year 11-12 Edition 3 – Luk.3
l The Feast l

July_2_2012 Luke 3

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our Feast in Luke 3 . We see John the Baptiste as he prepares the way for the first coming of Christ. What a man John was telling it like it was, probably intimidating some people. “4 As it is written in the book of the words of Isaiah the prophet,

The voice of one crying in the wilderness:
Prepare the way of the Lord,
make his paths straight.
5 Every valley shall be filled,
and every mountain and hill shall be made low,
and the crooked shall become straight,
and the rough places shall become level ways,
6 and all flesh shall see the salvation of God.’”
7 He said therefore to the crowds that came out to be baptized by him, “You brood of vipers! Who warned you to flee from the wrath to come?” Luke 3:4-7, English Standard Version (ESV). Think about this saint, do you think God saved you just to study the bible or to attend church services once or twice a week? I think not, I believe that Jesus gave the great commission to all that believe. “18 And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”” Matthew 28:1-20. We are thankful for our salvation, His love and all He has done for us. “The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately sick; who can understand it? “I the LORD search the heart and test the mind, to give every man according to his ways, according to the fruit of his deeds.”” Jeremiah 17:9-10 ESV. This is another reason we continue to keep the first thing first. That is salvation through the blood of the Lamb, Jesus. I am not a Theologian. So if I’m mistaken in the Feast or you want something added or changed on the prayer list. http://www.admenu.com/am/praise.html. please write mlitew8@yahoo.com.
