God delivers! Joshua 21

7th Year 11-12 Edition 3 – Jos 21
l The Feast l

August 13_2012 Joshua 21

Dear Saints,

Today we will prayerfully continue our Feast in Joshua 21. Every square inch of land God promised to Israel he delivered. “43 Thus the Lord gave to Israel all the land that he swore to give to their fathers. And they took possession of it, and they settled there. 44 And the Lord gave them rest on every side just as he had sworn to their fathers. Not one of all their enemies had withstood them, for the Lord had given all their enemies into their hands. 45 Not one word of all the good promises that the Lord had made to the house of Israel had failed; all came to pass.” Joshua 21:43-45 English Standard Version (ESV). Our God is the same today, yesterday and forever. God doesn't change, He is dependable in all of his ways. Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.” Hebrews 13:7-9 ESV. I know that this particular scripture is speaking of Jesus. If you know Jesus you know that he and the Father and the Holy Ghost are one. That is why I stand firm on what I said before;“'Know therefore that the LORD your God is God; he is the faithful God, keeping his covenant of love to a thousand generations of those who love him and keep his commandments.'Deuteronomy 7:9 (ESV). It is truly God who gave you freedom from sin when you accepted His gift, Jesus. Trust Him, Jesus paid for all of your sin. When you slip return to him for forgiveness. “For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.” Ephesians 2:10 ESV. We can continue to keep the first thing first. That is salvation through the blood of Jesus.

I am not a theologian so if you want to see something changed in the Feast or you want something added or changed on the prayer list. http://www.admenu.com/am/praise.html. please write mlitew8@yahoo.com. To correspond with a pastor email Pastor Glen; evangelistglen@yahoo.com. If the Lord is willing I’ll send and post the Feast again Monday.

Faithful to! Joshua 18-20

7th Year 11-12 Edition 3 – Jos 18-20
l The Feast l

August 10-12_2012 Joshua 18-20

Dear Saints,

This weekend we will prayerfully continue our Feast in Joshua chapters 18 - 20. The whole of the land allotments are finished in the feast for this weekend. Each of the tribes had to take possession of that which God provided for them. After the allotments were made God made provisions for the persons that commit manslaughter. That is accidentally killing a person. “9 These were the cities designated for all the people of Israel and for the stranger sojourning among them, that anyone who killed a person without intent could flee there, so that he might not die by the hand of the avenger of blood, till he stood before the congregation.” Joshua 20:9 English Standard Version (ESV). Take notice that this does not include murders because of hate, prejudice or any malice. When a person sins accidentally there is still that price to pay. That is why we must go to God for forgiveness even when we accidentally sin. Our God is awesome and sinless and cannot tolerate sin. 8 If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. 9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. 10 If we claim we have not sinned, we make him out to be a liar and his word is not in us.” 1 John 1:8-10 ESV. For these reasons we have to be real and confess sin for what it is. If the speed limit is 70 MPH we can't drive at 75 MPH just because we won't get stopped. Even if we catch ourselves doing 74 MPH and slow down right away, we have still sinned. We need to take our sins to Jesus and ask forgiveness. This is only one example of sin we'll realize it every time we sin. Take those sins to Jesus in prayer and ask forgiveness. If you caught sinning admit that your sorry and pay the fine! “Know therefore that the LORD your God is God; he is the faithful God, keeping his covenant of love to a thousand generations of those who love him and keep his commandments.Deuteronomy 7:9 (ESV). It is truly God's gave you freedom from sin when you accepted Him. Trust Him, Jesus paid for all of your sin. When you slip return to him for forgiveness. “[God Is Our Fortress] To the choirmaster. Of the Sons of Korah. According to Alamoth. A Song. God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.” Psalm 46:1 ESV. Let's continue to keep the first thing first. That is salvation through the blood of Jesus.

Do you know that you are made in the image of God? You are an eternal being, where you spend eternity depends on your relationship with God? If you want to be sure, turn from sin and just say this simple prayer; “Dear God, I am a sinner and need forgiveness. I believe that Jesus Christ shed His precious blood and died for my sin. I am willing to turn from sin. I now invite Christ to come into my heart and life as my personal Saviour.“ If you said this prayer inviting Jesus into your heart. Now turning from sin, and seek fellowship just as we do. We worship and fellowship in a Church (group of believers) that strives to measures up to God’s Word. You need a Bible believing body of believers (church) to worship and pray with. Our salvation depends completely on God! Did you take it? Joshua 17

7th Year 11-12 Edition 3 – Jos 17
l The Feast l

August 9_2012 Joshua 17

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our Feast in Joshua 16. Today we see the allotment of the lands as they were allotted to the people, were not enough for the house of Joseph. God is giving each tribe their allotment. Our God is awesome and fair, because of the population God gave the house of Joseph another allotment. “17 Then Joshua said to the house of Joseph, to Ephraim and Manasseh, “You are a numerous people and have great power. You shall not have one allotment only, 18 but the hill country shall be yours, for though it is a forest, you shall clear it and possess it to its farthest borders. For you shall drive out the Canaanites, though they have chariots of iron, and though they are strong.”” Joshua 17:17-18 English Standard Version (ESV). God gave them another allotment however they had to take it. By the same token God has given his son Jesus to ransom the children of Israel as well as the children of Abraham. The conditions remain the same. God doesn't force salvation on anyone. It is up to every child of God to reach out and take the gift of salvation. Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and eat with him, and he with me.” Revelation 3:20 ESV. God gave his only begotten son so that no one would have to perish. He is not willing that any should perish. It's not God's will that any should perish. “16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him.“ John 3:16-17 (ESV). It is truly God's will that you reach out and take this gift. That's the only way we gain a personal relationship with Jesus. It is sad to say that if anyone is to perish it is because of unbelief. “Are not five sparrows sold for two pennies? And not one of them is forgotten before God. Why, even the hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not; you are of more value than many sparrows.” Luke 12:6-7 ESV. It's each persons choice to keep the first thing first. That is salvation through the blood of Jesus.

I am not a theologian so if you want to see something changed in the Feast or you want something added or changed on the prayer list. http://www.admenu.com/am/praise.html. please write mlitew8@yahoo.com. Don’t get caught up in “religion”, it is about a relationship. Our salvation depends completely on God! We are the Saints that Jesus sacrificed his life to pay in full for our sin, when we repent and accept Jesus. He will come to get every Saint; “…But concerning that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father only.” Matthew 24:36. Content? Joshua 16

7th Year 11-12 Edition 3 – Jos 16
l The Feast l

August 8_2012 Joshua 16

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our Feast in Joshua 16. Today we see the boundaries of the lands as they were allotted to the people of Joseph. God is giving each tribe their allotment. “ The allotment of the people of Joseph went from the Jordan by Jericho, east of the waters of Jericho, into the wilderness, going up from Jericho into the hill country to Bethel. 2 Then going from Bethel to Luz, it passes along to Ataroth, the territory of the Archites. 3 Then it goes down westward to the territory of the Japhletites, as far as the territory of Lower Beth-horon, then to Gezer, and it ends at the sea.” Joshua 16:1-3 English Standard Version (ESV). Do you think that the tribes are content with their allotment. Are their neighbors truly happy for them? When we can be truly content in our life, then we can truly happy for our brother. We get a peak early in the creation at the pain Satan can inflict when a person is not content with God's blessings in their life. Because Cain did not do well with his offering to God, he couldn't be happy for Abel when God accepted his offering. 5 but for Cain and his offering he had no regard. So Cain was very angry, and his face fell. 6 The Lord said to Cain, “Why are you angry, and why has your face fallen? 7 If you do well, will you not be accepted? And if you do not do well, sin is crouching at the door. Its desire is for you, but you must rule over it.”” Genesis 4:5-7 ESV. Cain failed in his attempt to please God. He could have made it right and been content in his relationship with God. We see what happened because he didn't do well he killed his brother. Have you ever had a friend or relative get a good gift? Look inside of yourself and see if you were truly happy for them. It's in our nature to say that's great, while inside we think to ourselves; “That lucky duck, that should have been me!” Saint's what we need to do strive to please God. When we are content in our relationship with Jesus, then we can be truly happy when others receive a blessing. The apostle Paul, whose, example we need to follow said it well. “10 I rejoiced in the Lord greatly that now at length you have revived your concern for me. You were indeed concerned for me, but you had no opportunity. 11 Not that I am speaking of being in need, for I have learned in whatever situation I am to be content. 12 I know how to be brought low, and I know how to abound. In any and every circumstance, I have learned the secret of facing plenty and hunger, abundance and need.“ Philippians 4:10-12 (ESV). This came from his heart, he learned to be content no matter what his physical situation was. That's because his relationship with Jesus was spot on! Take your relationship with Jesus all the way to the top. “For the LORD takes pleasure in his people; he adorns the humble with salvation.” Psalm 149:4 ESV. We are continuing to keep the first thing first. That is salvation through the blood of Jesus.

Some hear some hear & do. Joshua 15

7th Year 11-12 Edition 3 – Jos 15
l The Feast l

August 7_2012 Joshua 15

Dear Saints,
Today we prayerfully continue our Feast in Joshua 15. These were the boundaries of the lands as they were divided to the tribe of Judah. Do you see how God was blessing Joshua and all the tribes of Israel? He didn't forget about anyone. “15 The allotment for the tribe of the people of Judah according to their clans reached southward to the boundary of Edom, to the wilderness of Zin at the farthest south. ” Joshua 15:9 English Standard Version (ESV). Can you imagine what kind of faith they had as they took the land that God himself divided for his people. I mean they had to move forward taking the land for each tribe. Some of them were probably wondering if God would forget them. They may have wondered if God would treat each tribe equally. In the end they saw that God did not forget about one of his people. What do you think God thinks of you? Will he treat you as well as the other saints? God has called you to the harvest. Maybe you worked longer than some of the others God called. Whatever you expect of God he will never forget or forsake you. 5 Keep your life free from love of money, and be content with what you have, for he has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.” 6 So we can confidently say,

The Lord is my helper;
I will not fear;
what can man do to me?” Hebrews 13:5-6 ESV. Just to clarify that sets straight with what Jesus said was the greatest commandment; “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind”. If you wholly follow Jesus then he shall be true to give you your full inheritance. We are not hearers of the Word only. We are doers of the word following our savior in actions as well as words. He left instructions for every believer until the end of time. You are an important part of this mission if you should decide to accept it; “18 And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”“ Matthew 28:18-20 (ESV). This is a message that will never self destruct. We do not seek the accolades of men, keep your eyes on Jesus. ““For the LORD is our judge; the LORD is our lawgiver; the LORD is our king; he will save us.” Isaiah 33:22 ESV. Let's continue to keep the first thing first. That is salvation through the blood of Jesus.
