Relationship or
Religion? – 1 Kings 10
Jan 4_2013 1 Kings 10
Dear Saints,
Today we
prayerfully read in, 1 Kings 10. God gives Solomon
wisdom, and people flock to see him in adoration of this Godly gift. “23 Thus King Solomon excelled all the kings
of the earth in riches and in wisdom. 24 And the whole earth sought the
presence of Solomon to hear his wisdom, which God had put into his mind.” 1 Kings 10:23-24. English Standard Version (ESV). God gave all who accept it, the gift of
salvation. How we display this gift is
important to God. Just as King Solomon
let his gift display his love of God, we need to humbly display our gift of
salvation. “He has told you, O man,
what is good; and what does the LORD require of you but to do justice, and to
love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God?” Micah 6:8
ESV. If we humbly walk displaying our
gifts from God people will flock to us to hear about our relationship with
Jesus. Humbly share your gift in love
keeping the first thing first. That is the gift of God, salvation through the
blood of our Lord Jesus. Just living a
Godly life will be a witness of what Jesus has done for you. Then people will gladly seek the gift we
have found, not religion a relationship with Jesus.

Till the end – 1 Kings 9
Jan 3_2013 1 Kings 9
Dear Saints,
Today we
prayerfully read in, 1 Kings 9. God warns Solomon,
and his people might not be high-minded, but to continue to be God fearing. Sometimes as congregations have been
mightily blessed they tend to think that they have more liberties than those
less blessed. God is saying it would
be better for Him to chasten them, than for them to go on with ease and
prosperity in sin. “3 And the Lord said
to him, “I have heard your prayer and your plea, which you have made before
me. I have consecrated this house that you have built, by putting my name
there forever. My eyes and my heart will be there for all time. 4 And as for
you, if you will walk before me, as David your father walked, with integrity
of heart and uprightness, doing according to all that I have commanded you,
and keeping my statutes and my rules,…”
1 Kings 9:3-4. English Standard
Version (ESV). God will bless us but
we must still serve and praise Him. He
doesn’t want religious people nor should we turn our Church building into a
club house, exclusive from those less blessed. The way we please God is continuing to love
Him, and share that love with as many as possible. “For the grace of God
has appeared, bringing salvation for all people, training us to renounce ungodliness
and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright, and godly lives
in the present age,” Titus 2:11-12 ESV.
We continue to serve God, as we keep the first thing first. That is
the gift of God, salvation through the blood of our Lord Jesus. We don’t think that we have the corner on
God because he is blessing us. The
best religion is the ones that continue to love, praise and serve God, in Jesus
precious name.

Walking in Wisdom? – 1 Kings 8
Jan 2_2013 1 Kings 8
Dear Saints,
Today we
prayerfully read in, 1 Kings 8. Bless God from
whom all blessings flow. “56 “Blessed be the
Lord who has given rest to his people Israel, according to all that he
promised. Not one word has failed of all his good promise, which he spoke by
Moses his servant. 57 The Lord our God be with us, as he was with our
fathers. May he not leave us or forsake us, 58 that he may incline our hearts
to him, to walk in all his ways and to keep his commandments, his statutes,
and his rules, which he commanded our fathers. 59 Let these words of mine,
with which I have pleaded before the Lord, be near to the Lord our God day
and night, and may he maintain the cause of his servant and the cause of his
people Israel, as each day requires, 60 that all the peoples of the earth may
know that the Lord is God; there is no other. 61 Let your heart therefore be
wholly true to the Lord our God, walking in his statutes and keeping his
commandments, as at this day.””
1 Kings 8:56-61. English
Standard Version (ESV). Again our God
is truly awesome. Our very lives
belong to Him, allow him to guide us in every word we speak and every deed we
do. Truly all the Glory goes to our
awesome God. “So teach us to number our days that we may
get a heart of wisdom.” Psalm 90:12 ESV. We
continue to follow Jesus in all we do.
We ask God to give us wisdom that we might serve Him to the highest
extent. Wisely serving him as we keep
the first thing first. That is the gift of God, salvation through the blood
of our Lord Jesus. We ask for the
wisdom so that we might clearly be a blessing to our God. Our Awesome God from whom all blessings
flow.

A Blessed New Year! – 1 Kings 7
Jan 1_2013 1 Kings 7
Dear Saints,
Happy New Year
from all of us at Admenu to all the Saints that enjoy the Feast and your
families. May you all enjoy a Blessed
New Year, and eternity in the arms of Jesus!
Today we prayerfully read in, 1 Kings 6. Look at the beautiful
house and the furnishings Solomon had built. “40 Hiram also made the pots, the shovels,
and the basins. So Hiram finished all the work that he did for King Solomon
on the house of the Lord: 41 the two pillars, the two bowls of the capitals
that were on the tops of the pillars, and the two latticeworks to cover the
two bowls of the capitals that were on the tops of the pillars; 42 and the
four hundred pomegranates for the two latticeworks, two rows of pomegranates
for each latticework, to cover the two bowls of the capitals that were on the
pillars; 43 the ten stands, and the ten basins on the stands; 44 and the one
sea, and the twelve oxen underneath the sea.”
1 Kings 7:40-44 English Standard Version (ESV). We continue to read about the beauty of
the home of Solomon and the beautiful temple dedicated to God. Think of this Saint, Jesus is preparing a
mansion for you. All of the beauty of
Solomon’s house will pale in comparison to what Jesus is preparing for us. “Therefore, if anyone
is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new
has come.” 2 Corinthians 5:17 ESV. Thank Jesus for the New Year and the New
Life in which we carry the message of salvation. This year let’s keep the first thing first.
That is the gift of God, salvation through the blood of our Lord Jesus. We truly are new creations in Jesus, God is
awesome!
