What
is this amazing truth?
May 13, 2013 – Ezra 3
Dear Saints,
Today we prayerfully Feast in Ezra 3 . This
book tells us that the people gathered as one man to Jerusalem. As one man they were successful in their
efforts; “…And all the people shouted with
a great shout when they praised the Lord, because the foundation of the house
of the Lord was laid. 12 But many of the priests and Levites and heads of
fathers' houses, old men who had seen the first house, wept with a loud voice
when they saw the foundation of this house being laid, though many shouted
aloud for joy, 13 so that the people could not distinguish the sound of the
joyful shout from the sound of the people's weeping, for the people shouted
with a great shout, and the sound was heard far away..” Ezra 3:11-13 English Standard Version (ESV).
I believe that if we all yield to the
Holy Spirit, join together as one body with Jesus as the head; we will do
great things and shout for Joy. “4 For whatever was written in
former days was written for our instruction, that through endurance and
through the encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope. 5 May the God
of endurance and encouragement grant you to live in such harmony with one
another, in accord with Christ Jesus, 6 that together you may with one voice
glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.” Romans 15:4-6 ESV. This is the amazing truth; that thru the
grace of God we can become one in Jesus.
We must understand that we must love one another in Jesus. Love the brothers, sisters and sinners and
hate the sin! This is because there is
no room for sin in the Church. Live to
build up the body of our Christ, let your lite shine!
Is Jesus is calling out to you? Do you hear
that small voice calling; sinner com home?

We all have one!
May 12, 2013 – Ezra 1 & 2
Dear Saints,
Today we prayerfully Feast in Ezra 1 & 2 . As
we continue our course to read thru every word in God’s Word in about 3
years. We start in the book of Ezra
with two chapters. Here is an overview
of the book of Ezra; “The history of this book is the
accomplishment of Jeremiah's prophecy concerning the return of the Jews out
of Babylon. From its contents we especially learn, that every good work will
meet with opposition from enemies, and be hurt by the misconduct of friends;
but that God will make his cause to prevail, notwithstanding all obstacles
and adversaries. The restoration of the Jews was an event of the highest
consequence, tending to preserve religion in the world, and preparing the way
for the appearance of the Great Deliverer, the Lord Jesus Christ.” Matthew Henry’s Concise Commentary (MHCC). Reading this overview made me think about
our walk with Jesus. How we strive to partake of this feast for a few minutes
every day; “…that every good work will meet with opposition from enemies, and
be hurt by the misconduct of friends; but that God will make his cause to
prevail…” (MHCC).
How great is our relationship with Jesus that in him we overcome all obstacles.
“I have said these things
to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have
tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world.” John 16:33 ESV. Today I want
to address one more thing. It’s about
those of us whose mothers were faithful to keep us in prayer. It’s about our wives who work to make a
home and raise Godly children. For
these faithful mothers we say; Thank You Jesus! “An excellent wife who can find? She is far more precious than jewels.
She looks well to the ways of her household and does not eat the bread of
idleness. Her children rise up and call her blessed; her husband also, and he
praises her:” Proverbs 31:10, 27-28 ESV. May God bless our mothers every day.

May 11, 2013 – 1 Corinthians 16
Dear Saints,
Today we prayerfully Feast in 1 Corinthians 16 . Paul
encourages the Corinthians to support the needy. Timothy and Apollos are not to be hindered
in their ministries. Paul say’s to be
steadfast in faith and love. Guard against those who do not walk in the love
of God; “22 If anyone has no love for the
Lord, let him be accursed. Our Lord, come! 23 The grace of the Lord Jesus be
with you. 24 My love be with you all in Christ Jesus. Amen.” 1 Corinthians 16:58 English
Standard Version (ESV). Early on in
this chapter he encourages the Saints to be strong in the Lord. Paul is asking the Corinthians to have
compassion for those in need. Those
who are wealthy in the Lord need to be charitable in their actions. “Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in
Christ forgave you.” Ephesians
4:32 ESV. We will be known for
our actions. If we are charitable,
forgiving and loving with our brothers and sisters we are walking with
Jesus. Help each other show the same
grace Jesus gave us in our dealings with others. We should let the light of God shine in
every area of our lives. If God is
willing we will Feast in the book of Ezra tomorrow.
