July 11, 2013 – Job 20

Dear Saints,
Today we prayerfully continue our Feast reading Job 20 Zophar says that the joy of the wicked is fleeting and lasts but a short time. The love of the world and its riches are wicked. The unrepentant person will see their treasure slip away from them;
28 The possessions of his house will be carried away,
    dragged off in the day of God’s wrath.
29 This is the wicked man’s portion from God,
    the heritage decreed for him by God.” Job 20:28-29 English Standard Version (ESV).
Where is the value of goods earned from self-interest and treachery?  Of what value to are the gifts of the Holy Spirit?  That which is gained and treasured from the world will be of no value in the kingdom of God.   7 Do not be deceived: God is not mocked, for whatever one sows, that will he also reap. 8 For the one who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption, but the one who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life. 9 And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up. Galatians 6:7-9 ESV.  Those that seek worldly treasure and self-importance will learn that it has no value in the kingdom of God. Jesus will return for those who seek the gifts of the Holy Spirit, and in that day they will be justified!

Only Jesus knows where you’re at.  Jesus is calling!  Do you hear that small voice calling; sinner com home?  Do you want to choose good over evil? If the answer is yes please click the following link;

July 10, 2013 – Job 19

Dear Saints,
Today we prayerfully continue our Feast reading Job 19 Job is so afflicted his friends consider him a wicked man.   Job is afflicted like the enemies of God.  Job remains confident that the resurrection will come after death.
28 If you say, ‘How we will pursue him!’
    and, ‘The root of the matter is found in him,’
29 be afraid of the sword,
    for wrath brings the punishment of the sword,
    that you may know there is a judgment.” Job 19:28-29 English Standard Version (ESV).
In spite of all that has happened to Job he is sure of God’s resurrection and judgment. You and I have God’s Word that we will continue in Jesus until He returns for us. “And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ.  Philippians 1:6 ESV.  This is just one of the reasons we pray and read the Word of God every day.

Only Jesus knows where you’re at.  Jesus is calling!  Do you hear that small voice calling; sinner com home?  Do you want to choose good over evil? If the answer is yes please click the following link;

Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen.  Ephesians 3:20-21 ESV.
