By What Are We Known?
Sept. 22, 2013 – Psalms 48
Today’s Feast
Dear Saints,
Today we prayerfully continue our Feast reading Psalms 48. The
psalmist is praising God. He is prophesizing that only the citizens in
the spiritual city of God render the praise that Jesus deserves. “12
Walk about Zion, go around her,
number her towers,
13 consider well her ramparts,
go through her
citadels,
that you may tell the next generation
14 that this is God,
our God forever and ever.
He will guide us
forever.” Psalm 48:8-9 - English Standard Version (ESV). Saints the love of God endures
forever. God wants your hearts, body
and soul to praise and worship Him for that eternal love. (See 2 Chronicles 7:3). We are known by his love! We demonstrate God’s love by the way we greet
and treat others!
This is the truth; Jesus is calling you home and He will
not be calling forever. Today is the day
of salvation. Do you want to find peace and purpose? If the answer is yes please click the

The Feast does belong to Jesus! It is intended to
encourage Saints to pray and read every word in the bible! Let me know if you have any questions or
comments, by replying here on the blog or in an email.
The Feast belongs to Jesus you may share it
anywhere with any and all!
God Bless You,
Brother Mike

Why Praise God?

Why Praise God?
Sept. 21, 2013 – Psalms 47
Dear Saints,
Today we prayerfully continue our Feast reading Psalms 47. The
psalmist is advising people to praise the LORD. He is saying that God’s people have a duty
to praise God. “8 God reigns over the nations;
God sits on his holy
throne.
9 The princes of the peoples gather
as the people of the
God of Abraham.
For the shields of the earth belong to God;
he is highly exalted!” Psalm 47:8-9 - English Standard Version (ESV). Many people believe that our world is
falling apart. They blame the
politicians, corporations even God. We
tell people to keep their eyes on Jesus.
Some say that we’re blindly following God! We tell people that when we’re praying to
and praising God and reading God’s Word we are doing so with our eyes wide
open. The solutions to the world’s
problems are in God’s Word (See 2 Chronicles 7:14). We praise God because, he loves us and he
leads us in the path of righteousness.
We are not saved in the name of politicians, welfare departments,
certainly not by bills and policies there is no other than Jesus! We praise God because there is no other
name under heaven by which we are saved.
“11 This Jesus is the stone that was rejected by
you, the builders, which has become the cornerstone. 12 And there is
salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among
men by which we must be saved.” ”
Acts 4:11-12 ESV. “14 The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ and the
love of God and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all.”
2
Corinthians 13:14 ESV.

What God Gives Us!

What God Gives Us!
Sept. 20, 2013 – Psalms 46
Today’s Feast
Dear Saints,
Today we prayerfully continue our Feast reading Psalms 46. Once
again the psalmist extols his faith in the everlasting Lord God. He is urging people to wait for the
LORD. “10 “Be still, and know
that I am God.
I will be exalted among
the nations,
I will be exalted in
the earth!”
11 The Lord of hosts is with us;
the God of Jacob is our
fortress.” Psalms 46:17 - English Standard Version (ESV). I have some “Christian” friends whose
mother was in the hospital. The mom
was in grave danger. The daughter went
on and on about her faith in the doctors.
The mother had to be transferred to another hospital where she was
healed. She said the first hospital
was horrible. She went on praising the
second hospital for saving her.
Though the daughter asked people to pray for her mom when they thought
she may die, they never so much as mentioned Jesus in connection with her
healing. I wonder if they know that
doctors provide services and administer medicines (A much needed
ministry). Only Jesus heals the sick
(See John Chapter 11). Give God the glory in all the good that is
received in this life. God will give us
peace that passes understanding to the grateful believers.
“16 Give glory to the Lord your God
before he brings
darkness,
before your feet stumble
on the twilight
mountains,
and while you look for light
he turns it into gloom
