An Appealing Gift For God?

Today’s Feast What Gift Can We Give God?  Oct. 18, 2013 – Psalms 76 Psalms Chapter 76 - “The psalmist speaks of God's power. (1-6) All have to fear and to trust in him. The Lord our God is all powerful.  There is nothing that isn’t subject to Him!  “11 Make your vows to the Lord your God and perform them;     let all around him bring gifts     to him who is to be feared, 12 who cuts off the spirit of princes,     who is to be feared by the kings of the earth”   Psalm 76:11-12 - English Standard Version (ESV).  What gift can we give to God (See 1 Chronicles 16:8)? The most precious gift a person can give God almighty is the one thing can’t keep without Jesus; Your Life, Your Thanksgiving!   “18 give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.” 1 Thessalonians 5:18 ESV.  Thank Jesus everything made has been made by Him! All In The Name Of Jesus!

Today’s Feast Hallowed Be His Name! Oct. 17, 2013 – Psalms 75 Psalms Chapter 75 - “The psalmist declares his resolution of executing judgment. (1-5) He rebukes the wicked, and concludes with resolutions to praise God. (6-10)” - Matthew Henry Concise Return to Admenu Home Admenu’s Alternate Site Dear Saints, Today we prayerfully continue our Feast reading Psalms 75. The psalmist is speaking about the powers appointed over all men.  All blessings and promotions come from God.  “6 For not from the east or from the west     and not from the wilderness comes lifting up, 7 but it is God who executes judgment,     putting down one and lifting up another.”   Psalm 75:6-7 - English Standard Version (ESV).  When God’s people constantly complained to mosses and each other in the wilderness to what avail (See Numbers 14:26-30)? His Love Never Runs Out On Us!

Today’s Feast What Love Lifts Us Up? Oct. 16, 2013 – Psalms 74 Psalms Chapter 74 - “The desolations of the sanctuary. (1-11) Pleas for encouraging faith. (12-17) Petitions for deliverances. (18-23)” - Matthew Henry Concise Return to Admenu Home Admenu’s Alternate Site Dear Saints, Today we prayerfully continue our Feast reading Psalms 74. The psalmist ostensibly is speaking to the destruction of Jerusalem and the temple by the Chaldeans.  He is holding on to his faith tightly during these obscure times.  “18 Blessed be the Lord, the God of Israel,     who alone does wondrous things. 19 Blessed be his glorious name forever;     may the whole earth be filled with his glory! Amen and Amen!”   Psalm 74:18-19 - English Standard Version (ESV).  When turmoil and circumstance face us we are blessed in that we can turn to Jesus prayer.  Jesus is our friend whether in good or bad times.  In good times he blesses and guides us.  In corrupt times he lifts us up, out of the (sin) mire (see Psalm 89:26).  “Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in your sight, O Lord, my rock and my redeemer.” Psalm 19:14  ESV.  Jesus preserves and blesses us! Amen!
