Jesus is our righteousness!
Who’s Your Hero?
Nov. 14, 2013 – Psalms 106

Psalms Chapter 106- “The happiness of God's people. (1-5) Israel's sins. (6-12) Their provocations. (13-33) Their rebellions in Canaan. (34-46) Prayer for more complete deliverance. (47,48) - Matthew Henry Concise

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our Feast reading Psalms 106The Psalmist is telling God’s chosen people they have no reason to be unhappy; they needn’t envy the pleasure or pride of unsaved people. He reminds the people of their transgressions; their need for prayer.  He lauds God and reminds the people to continually praise God.   48 Blessed be the Lord, the God of Israel,
    from everlasting to everlasting!
And let all the people say, “Amen!”
Praise the Lord!”  Psalm 106:48 - English Standard Version (ESV).   Not one of our sins should prevent us from giving glory and praise to the Lord.  Jesus is the reason we should continually have God’s praise on our lips (See 2 Corinthians 9:11-12).  We give Jesus all of our thanksgiving and praise; “4 For everything created by God is good, and nothing is to be rejected if it is received with thanksgiving, 5 for it is made holy by the word of God and prayer. 1 Timothy 4:4-5 ESV.  Jesus has covered our sin so far from us we sing of His love forever (see Psalm 103:12).  We give all thanks and praise to Jesus; for his unwavering love sustains us endlessly (see Colossians 3:17)!
Give all praise and thanksgiving to our Hero, Lord and Savior Jesus. Hallelujah!

Tell of All His Wonderful Works!

Today’s Feast

Even when we are not happy with others we thank Jesus they can’t take our joy!
Tell of All His Wonderful Works!
Nov. 13, 2013 – Psalms 105

Psalms Chapter 105- “A solemn call to praise and serve the Lord. (1-7) His gracious dealings with Israel. (8-23) Their deliverance from Egypt, and their settlement in Canaan. (24-45)” - Matthew Henry Concise

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our Feast reading Psalms 105The Psalmist is reminding the people of God’s joy and love.  He’s reminding God’s people of what God has done for them.  He encourages the to keep praising God.  43 So he brought his people out with joy,
    his chosen ones with singing.
44 And he gave them the lands of the nations,
and they took possession of the fruit of the peoples' toil,
45 that they might keep his statutes
    and observe his laws.
Praise the Lord!”  Psalm 105:43-45 - English Standard Version (ESV).   Sometimes when we are with people who are unhappy, when they begin to grumble we get caught up and begin to join them in the complaints.  It is at the point when the complaints start we need to remind them of what Jesus has done for them (See Psalm 23:1-6).   Remind them that though we may be unhappy with whatever it is that is bothering us, that they cannot steel our Joy.  Because happiness depends on happenstance while our Joy is in Jesus.  “15 For this is the will of God, that by doing good you should put to silence the ignorance of foolish people. 16 Live as people who are free, not using your freedom as a cover-up for evil, but living as servants of God. 1 Peter 2:15-16 ESV.  In every situation we can depend on Jesus and have strength in our faith (see 1 Peter 1:3-5).  Jesus will not let us down.  We are not to be grieved, for the joy of the Lord is our strength (see Nehemiah 8:10).
Trust in the Lord Jesus our joy and strength.  Amen!
Listen is Jesus calling you?  Do you think Jesus can lift you up?  Do you want to find true happiness, peace and purpose in your life?  If the answer is yes to any of these questions please click the following link;

Because we are surrounded by his glory!

Today’s Feast

The lord Jesus is the light of the world!
Do We Bless And Praise The Lord??
Nov. 12, 2013 – Psalms 104

Psalms Chapter 104- “God's majesty in the heavens, The creation of the sea, and the dry land. (1-9) His provision for all creatures. (10-18) The regular course of day and night, and God's sovereign power over all the creatures. (19-30) A resolution to continue praising God. (31-35)” - Matthew Henry Concise

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our Feast reading Psalms 104The Psalmist is extoling God’s love, grace and greatness. 34 May my meditation be pleasing to him,
for I rejoice in the Lord.
35 Let sinners be consumed from the earth,
and let the wicked be no more!
Bless the Lord, O my soul!
Praise the Lord!”  Psalm 104:21-22 - English Standard Version (ESV).   Instead of asking why we praise and bless the Lord we might ask; is there any reason we don’t praise the precious name of Jesus (See psalms 104:1-35)?  Can any person in who is loved by Jesus and sealed by the Holy Spirit; not bless and praise God? “9 And so, from the day we heard, we have not ceased to pray for you, asking that you may be filled with the knowledge of his will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, Colossians 1:9 ESV.  I have heard of people in such pain that they reject God; but the person who is rejecting God is really crying out for God’s love and grace (see Ephesians 1:15-17).  Jesus is the reason and encouragement to bless and praise the lord.  People are wise to call upon and praise the lord when their world is upside down (see Matthew 7:24-25).

Jesus is our foundation!  Hallelujah!

15 Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. 16 For all that is in the world the desires of the flesh and the desires of the eyes and pride of life is not from the Father but is from the world. 1 John 2:15-16 ESV.

Are We Blessing Jesus?

Are We Blessing Jesus?
Nov. 11, 2013 – Psalms 103

Psalms Chapter 103- “An exhortation to bless God for his mercy. (1-5) And to the church and to all men. (6-14) For the constancy of his mercy. (15-18) For the government of the world. (19-22)” - Matthew Henry Concise

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our Feast reading Psalms 103This Psalmist is asking the people of God to exalt God with every ounce of their existence. 21 Bless the Lord, all his hosts,
his ministers, who do his will!
22 Bless the Lord, all his works,
in all places of his dominion.
Bless the Lord, O my soul!”  Psalm 103:21-22 - English Standard Version (ESV).   Just like the Psalmist we should be exalting God with every ounce of our being.  God’s Word tells us how much God loves us (See John 3:16)!  Think of just how much we should love God (See Matthew 22:37)?  Can we truthfully answer the question; Am I blessing Jesus with every ounce of my being? “15 Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. 16 For all that is in the world the desires of the flesh and the desires of the eyes and pride of life is not from the Father but is from the world. 1 John 2:15-16 ESV.  Have I elected to live for Jesus or the world (see Joshua 24:15)?  Answer the hard question; Do I honor my faith in Jesus with the decisions I make?  If you can answer yes to these questions thank Jesus; you are like a living stone being built up into a spiritual house, to offer spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus (see 1 Peter 2:5).

Bless the Lord, O My Soul!  Hallelujah!
