Can We Accept Jesus’ Promises?
With faith in Jesus all
things are possible.
December 3, 2013 – Psalms
131-132
Psalms 131
“The psalmist's humility. Believers encouraged to trust in God.” - Matthew
Henry Concise”
Psalms 132 “David's care for the ark. (1-10)
The promises of God. (11-18)” - Matthew Henry Concise”
Dear Saints,
Today we prayerfully continue our
Feast with two chapters, Psalms 131 &132.
In Psalms 131
The Psalmist humbly declares
that God’s people will be content in their walk with the Lord. “1 O Lord, my
heart is not lifted up; my eyes are not raised too high; I do not occupy
myself with things too great and too marvelous for me.
2 But I have calmed and
quieted my soul, like a weaned child with its mother; like a weaned child is
my soul within me. 3 O Israel, hope in
the Lord from this time forth and
forevermore.” Psalm 131 - English
Standard Version (ESV). In Psalms 132
David is clinging to God’s promises
concerning the Lords chosen people. “17 There I
will make a horn to sprout for David; I have prepared a lamp for my anointed.
18 His enemies I will clothe with shame, but on him his crown will shine.”
Psalms 132:17-18. Like David
we should trust God no matter how the world makes our situation appear. Jesus has made us promises concerning our
eternal life (See Hebrews 13:5). “35 Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life; whoever
comes to me shall not hunger, and whoever believes in me shall never thirst.” John 6:35
– ESV. Jesus promised that those that
accept his offer of salvatin His church will never hunger or thirst again (See Revelation 7:15-17).
We
thank you Jesus in that you will personally wipe the tears from our eyes! Hallelujah!

What Are You Doing With Your Faith?
Today’s Feast
![]()
Where Are You Putting Your Faith?
December 2, 2013 – Psalms
129-130
Psalms 129
“Thankfulness for former deliverances. (1-4) A believing prospect of the
destruction of the enemies of Zion. (5-8)” - Matthew Henry Concise”
Psalms 130 “The psalmist's hope in prayer.
(1-4) His patience in hope. (5-8)” - Matthew Henry Concise”
Dear Saints,
Today we prayerfully continue our
Feast with two chapters, Psalms 129 &130.
In Psalms
129 The Psalmist saying that
God is just and faithful to His people and those who bring affliction to God’s
chosen people will be removed from the face of the planet. “4 The Lord is
righteous; he has cut the cords of the wicked.” Psalm 129:8 - English
Standard Version (ESV). In Psalms
130 the Psalmist is telling
God’s people to keep their eyes on God’s Word to obey God’s precepts because He
is just. God’s love is strong and
because of their faith God will punish those who come against them. “7 O Israel, hope in the Lord! For with the Lord there is steadfast love,
and with him is plentiful redemption. 8 And he will redeem Israel from all
his iniquities” Psalms
130:7-8. Pay close attention Saints we will prevail
in all things because we are adopted into God’s family. Jesus has paid the full price for our sin. Jesus brings into God’s family where we are
set aside to do all we do in Jesus’ name.
“28
And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good,
for those who are called according to his purpose.” Romans 8:28
– ESV. Never fall into a trap keeping your
eyes on people. Because men can
abandon you or fail every time. Jesus
will never leave nor forsake you. (See Hebrews 13:5).
In
all things we trust Jesus! Hallelujah!

Unless the Lord Builds the House It Won’t Stand!
Today’s Feast
![]()
Unless the Lord Builds the House
Some good men are struggling to get
ahead. Unless the Lord builds the
house it will never be a home.
December, 2013 – Psalms 126-128
Psalms 126
“Those returned out of captivity are to be thankful. (1-3) Those yet in
captivity are encouraged. (4-6)” - Matthew Henry Concise”
Psalms 127 “The value of the Divine blessing”
- Matthew Henry Concise”
Psalms 128
“The blessings of those who fear God.” - Matthew Henry Concise”
Dear Saints,
Today we prayerfully continue our
Feast with three chapters in Psalms 126,127 &128. In Psalms 126 The Psalmist is simply stating
that those saved will encourage those who haven’t yet been saved. If we are joyfully saved we must live our
life as an example openly thanking God for the blessings. “6 He who goes out weeping, bearing the seed for sowing, shall come
home with shouts of joy, bringing his sheaves with him.” Psalm 126:8 - English Standard Version (ESV). In Psalms 127:5 the Psalmist says Lord
will put a hedge around those living for God, His children are like a full
quiver to an Archer. We must be
sincere in living our life as an example of our faith (see 2 Peter 2:4-5). You may be able to fool strangers. There are a few who you can’t fool God or
your children! We must remain ready for the return of Jesus setting the
example for those who may be redeemed through God’s gift His son Jesus. “1 Blessed is the man who walks not
in the counsel of the wicked, nor stands in the way of sinners, nor sits in
the seat of scoffers; 2 but his delight is in the law of the Lord, and on his
law he meditates day and night.” 2
Peter 3:10-11 – ESV. The bible
does tell us not to judge others but God expects us to discern because we are
not to have fellowship with sinners (See Psalm 1:1-2).
Father
let us share Jesus’ love your word for in it we find salvation and joy! Hallelujah!

Where is our strength?
Today’s Feast
Our Help Is in the Name of the Lord!
No matter what God has moved or removed for us we always thank Him and give him all the glory.
Nov. 30, 2013 – Psalms 124-125
Psalms 124 “The deliverance of the church. (1-5) Thankfulness for the deliverance. (6-8) ” - Matthew Henry Concise” Psalms 125 “The security of the righteous. (1-3) Prayer for them, The ruin of the wicked. (4,5)” - Matthew Henry Concise”
Return to Admenu Home Admenu’s Alternate Site Dear Saints,
Today we prayerfully continue our Feast in Psalms 124 & 125. In Psalms 124 David is giving God the glory for delivering the church from their enemies. He says that all glory goes to God. “8 Our help is in the name of the Lord, who made heaven and earth..” Psalm 124:8 - English Standard Version (ESV). In Psalms 125 THE psalmist says The Lord encompasses and protects his people. “4 Do good, O Lord, to those who are good, and to those who are upright in their hearts!” Psalm 125:4 - ESV. Along the same lines today we can say that the Holy Spirit encompasses us and Jesus does good for those who have an upright heart. But how can that be when God says that men’s hearts are continually evil? The answer is the Lord Jesus is our righteousness, when we accept Jesus into our hearts and allow Him to guide and move us everything will work for our good (see Romans 8:27-29). We must remain ready for the return of Jesus setting the example for those who may be redeemed from the world. “10 But the day of the Lord will come like a thief, and then the heavens will pass away with a roar, and the heavenly bodies will be burned up and dissolved, and the earth and the works that are done on it will be exposed. 11 Since all these things are thus to be dissolved, what sort of people ought you to be in lives of holiness and godliness,” 2 Peter 3:10-11 – ESV. Sometimes you might only listen to a person’s complaints about the condition of a situation. Be still while they talk and when they are out of steam say something like; “They may be able to infect our happiness but at least they’ll never touch our joy” (See Nehemiah 8:10). When they say what are you talking about, use the opportunity to tell them about your hope and joy in Jesus.
Thank you Jesus you are our salvation and joy! Amen!

Can We Carry On With Thanksgiving & Love?
Today’s Feast
![]()
We Will Carry On With Thanksgiving & Love!
Nov. 29,2013 – Psalms 122-123
Psalms 122 “Esteem for Jerusalem. (1-5) Concern for its welfare. (6-9) ” - Matthew Henry Concise”
Psalms 123 “Confidence in God under contempt.” - Matthew Henry Concise”
Dear Saints,
Today we prayerfully continue our Feast in Psalms 122 & 123. In Psalms 122 the Psalmist is saying the pleasure from God’s grace; outweigh any difficulty we may find in serving the Lord. He goes on saying that if we can do nothing else for Jerusalem we should be in prayer for Jerusalem. In Psalms 123 the Psalmist is saying that when we lift up our voice to God for mercy we can expect blessings not contempt. “8 For my brothers and companions' sake I will say, “Peace be within you!” 9 For the sake of the house of the Lord our God, I will seek your good.” Psalm 122:8-9 - English Standard Version (ESV). Today all over the USA people are letting their belts out another space. They starting Christmas shopping and many will not be giving Jesus another thought. They should be continuing seeking God with thanksgiving everyday (see 1 Thessalonians 5:18). I heard three men discussing what day God should be worshipped. (this is the way I heard it.) “The first one said; We worship on Saturday continuing to obey God’s word on keeping the Sabbath. The second man said; We worship on Sunday because that is the day Jesus rose from the tomb over coming death and the day of Pentecost. They both looked to the third man to hear his thoughts on the matter on what day should be set aside to worship God. He said at my house we worship God every day!” So I’m saying every day we should be giving thanks to God in the name of Jesus. Remember this is still the day that the Lord has made! “23 The one who offers thanksgiving as his sacrifice glorifies me; to one who orders his way rightly I will show the salvation of God!” Psalm 50:23 – ESV. Every day is the day to worship God with thanksgiving joy and gladness! Let’s continue to be thankful for all of God’s blessings (See Psalm 95:2-3). It is up to you and I to set the example during the holidays and every day.
Our Father gives us strength to share his love every minute of every day! Amen!
