Wisdom Is Better Than Folly!

Today’s Feast

Feb. 11, 2014 – Ecclesiastes 9
Wisdom Is Better Than Folly!

“18 All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation:”  2 Corinthians 5:18

Ecclesiastes Chapter 9, “Good and bad men fare alike as to this world. (1-3) All men must die, Their portion as to this life. (4-10) Disappointments common. (11, 12) Benefits of wisdom. (13-18)”  -  Matthew Henry Concise

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our Feast reading Ecclesiastes Chapter 9.  We search into the Word depending on the Holy Spirit (see Acts 2:17-18) for interpretation.  We know every person shall die; some to condemnation and we saints to our reward.  Keep that which is natural from (see Leviticus 18:22) becoming detestable, walking in wisdom.  “17 The words of the wise heard in quiet are better than the shouting of a ruler among fools. 18 Wisdom is better than weapons of war, but one sinner destroys much good.“   Ecclesiastes 9:17-18  English Standard Version (ESV).   God will pass by the fools and the wise men and only those wise enough to believe in Jesus will know where to seek him (See 1 Kings 19:11-13).  “2 And on the Sabbath he began to teach in the synagogue, and many who heard him were astonished, saying, “Where did this man get these things? What is the wisdom given to him? How are such mighty works done by his hands? 3 Is not this the carpenter, the son of Mary and brother of James and Joses and Judas and Simon? And are not his sisters here with us?” And they took offense at him.“  Mark 6:2-3 ESV.  Look to Jesus and pray for guidance from the Holy Spirit.  Search the scriptures, work out your salvation (see Philippians 2:12) because the fear of the Lord is the begging of (See Psalm 111:10) wisdom.

Is Jesus calling you?  Do you want to be loved?  Do you want to find true happiness, peace and purpose in your life?  If the answer is yes to any of these questions please click the following link; http://www.admenu.com/calling.htm

Can Man Know God’s Ways?

Today’s Feast

Feb. 10, 2014 – Ecclesiastes 8
Can Man Know God's Ways?

“Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love.”  Ephesians 4:2

Ecclesiastes Chapter 8, “Commendations of wisdom. (1-5) To prepare for sudden evils and death. (6-8) It shall be well with the righteous, and ill with the wicked. (9-13) Mysteries of Providence. (14-17)”  -  Matthew Henry Concise

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our Feast reading Ecclesiastes Chapter 7.  Man isn’t capable of knowing the mind of God (see Ecclesiastes 3:11).  We know this that it is well with the wise and he may know the love pf God.  “17 then I saw all the work of God, that man cannot find out the work that is done under the sun. However much man may toil in seeking, he will not find it out. Even though a wise man claims to know, he cannot find it out.“   Ecclesiastes 7:29  English Standard Version (ESV).   If you want to begin to understand God’s love for man look at how he sacrificed Jesus (See John 3:16) to pay for our trespasses while we were yet sinners.  There is nothing to be gained without love.  “1 If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal. 2 And if I have prophetic powers, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. 3 If I give away all I have, and if I deliver up my body to be burned, but have not love, I gain nothing.“  1 Corinthians 13:1-3 ESV.  Look at our savior Jesus and endeavor to imitate his love.  Search the scriptures for examples of love (See 1 Corinthians 13:4-8) and you may begin to understand God’s love for us.

31 Therefore do not be anxious, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ 32 For the Gentiles seek after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them all. 33 But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.“  Matthew 6:31-33 ESV

The Contrast of Wisdom and Folly

Today’s Feast

Feb. 9, 2014 – Ecclesiastes 7
The Contrast of Wisdom and Folly

“5 You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; you anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows.”  Psalm 23:5

Ecclesiastes Chapter 7, “The benefit of a good name; of death above life; of sorrow above vain mirth. (1-6) Concerning oppression, anger, and discontent. (7-10) Advantages of wisdom. (11-22) Experience of the evil of sin. (23-29)”  -  Matthew Henry Concise

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our Feast reading Ecclesiastes Chapter 7.  In God’s Word we see the differences between wisdom and folly.  “29 See, this alone I found, that God made man upright, but they have sought out many schemes.“   Ecclesiastes 7:29  English Standard Version (ESV).   While we may be angry about what is going on around us we must not fall into sin.  So we must turn what angers us over to Jesus (See Ephesians 4:26) every day before we sleep.  By the same token we should not worry about our lives but rather seek God with thanksgiving and prayer in the name of Jesus in every circumstance. “31 Therefore do not be anxious, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ 32 For the Gentiles seek after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them all. 33 But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.“  Matthew 6:31-33 ESV.  Seek wisdom in God’s Word there you will find wisdom (See Romans 10:17) that will reinforce your faith.

Listen! Can you hear Jesus calling you?  Do you freedom?  Do you want to find true happiness, peace and purpose in your life?  If the answer is yes to any of these questions please click the following link; http://www.admenu.com/calling.htm

Who Will You Choose To Follow?

Today’s Feast

Feb. 8, 2014 – Ecclesiastes 6
Who Will You Choose To Follow?

“22 Shall we provoke the Lord to jealousy? Are we stronger than he?”  1 Corinthians 10:22

Ecclesiastes Chapter 6, “The vanity of riches. Also of long life and flourishing families. (1-6) The little advantage any one has in outward things. (7-12)”  -  Matthew Henry Concise

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our Feast reading Ecclesiastes Chapter 5.  When is a man satisfied with his condition?  Can man live a long life without growing old?  Is a man with many possessions more comfortable than a man who has few and yet is content?  “12 For who knows what is good for man while he lives the few days of his vain life, which he passes like a shadow? For who can tell man what will be after him under the sun?“   Ecclesiastes 5:19-20  English Standard Version (ESV).   Is a person who possesses all he can see or survey better off (See Luke 9:25) than a man who knows only Jesus.  "You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ But I say to you, Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, so that you may be sons of your Father who is in heaven. For he makes his sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust.“  Matthew 5:43-45  ESV.  A person who elects to choose man over God chooses a liar (see John 8:44), they will receive a liars reward.

Is Jesus calling you?  Are you tired of lies?  Do you want to find true happiness, peace and purpose in your life?  If the answer is yes to any of these questions please click the following link; http://www.admenu.com/calling.htm
