“8 Suddenly Babylon has fallen and been broken; wail for her! Take balm for her pain; perhaps she may be healed.” Jeremiah 51:8

Isaiah Chapter 13, “The armies of God's wrath. (1-5) The conquest of Babylon. (6-18) Its final desolation. (19-22) -  Matthew Henry Concise

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our Feast reading Isaiah Chapter 13  Those God called to lay waist are called; God’s (see Isaiah 13:3) mighty ones.  Do you think God was unfair in the destruction of Babylon?  No! God warned those who were living in iniquity (see Revelation 18:4) to come out of Babylon.  Those that lived and perished in Babylon were proud and haughty.  They continually sinned against (see Psalm 104:35) God.  So God laid waste to that mighty city; it became a habitat of wild animals.  “21 But wild animals will lie down there, and their houses will be full of howling creatures; there ostriches will dwell, and there wild goats will dance.  22 Hyenas will cry in its towers, and jackals in the pleasant palaces; its time is close at hand and its days will not be prolonged.“   Isaiah 13:21-22  English Standard Versions (ESV).  God’s Word teaches us that; the wages of sin are (like cancer) death.  Sin is to be eschewed (see Ephesians 5:15-20) whether it be a person, a people or a nationKnow therefore that the Lord your God is God, the faithful God who keeps covenant and steadfast love with those who love him and keep his commandments, to a thousand generations, Deuteronomy 7:9 ESV.   We have not been called to judge people but rather to be discerning (see Proverbs 4:14) avoiding taking part in the sin.  In doing so as ambassadors (see 2 Corinthians 5:20) for Jesus we carry the good news (see Acts 13:31-33) to those who are dying in sin.

“3 Sing to him a new song; play skillfully on the strings, with loud shouts.” Psalm 33:3

Isaiah Chapter 12, “This is a hymn of praise suited to the times of the Messiah.”  - Matthew Henry Concise

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our Feast reading Isaiah Chapter 12.   This prophesy is about the coming Messiah (see Philippians 4:8) and the praise from praise that will spring forth from God’s people.  5 “Sing praises to the Lord, for he has done gloriously; let this be made known[a] in all the earth.  6 Shout, and sing for joy, O inhabitant of Zion, for great in your midst is the Holy One of Israel.”  Isaiah 12:5-6  English Standard Versions (ESV).  It is not uncommon for those who are redeemed to sing (see Ephesians 5:18-20) about Jesus in their heart during the day.  15 but in your hearts honor Christ the Lord as holy, always being prepared to make a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you; yet do it with gentleness and respect,  1 Peter 3:15 ESV  Approach unbelievers with love and respect (see 1 Peter 5:6and share the love of Jesus.  This is good in the eyes (see 1 Peter 5:6-9) of God.

Is Jesus calling you?  Can you hear Jesus (see Romans 1:24-25) calling? Do you want to find true happiness, peace and purpose in your life?  If the answer is yes to any of these questions please click the following link; http://www.admenu.com/calling.htm
