Israel Refined for God's Glory

Today’s Feast

Apr. 15, 2014 – Isaiah 48
Israel Refined for God's Glory

Gods Not Dead! Share the Feast in God’s Word; join us sharing God’s Word daily as Easter, Sunday April 20th approaches!

"19 Behold, I am doing a new thing;
now it springs forth, do you not perceive it?
I will make a way in the wilderness
    and rivers in the desert.”
Isaiah 43:19

Isaiah Chapter 48 , “The Jews reproved for their idolatry. (1-8) Yet deliverance is promised them. (9-15) Solemn warnings of judgment upon those who persisted in evil. (16-22) ” -  Matthew Henry Concise

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our Feast by reading Isaiah Chapter 48.   This prophecy begins with God criticizing the (see Exodus 32:9) Israelites for their obstinate behavior.  God delivered from slavery (see Zephaniah 2:15) yet they continued to do wrong; 22 “There is no peace,” says the Lord, “for the wicked.” Isaiah 48:22  English Standard Versions (ESV).   It seems that wicked people (see Colossians 3:16-17) are constantly trying to (see 2 Thessalonians 2:9-11) pervert the Word of God.  Rest assured they will reap (see Romans 6:23) their just reward just as the believer will receive theirs.  We are should learn to be content (see Philippians 4:11) with God’s gifts.  We “Christians” need to stop complaining about government and taxes; “For because of this you also pay taxes, for the authorities are ministers of God, attending to this very thing. Pay to all what is owed to them: taxes to whom taxes are owed, revenue to whom revenue is owed, respect to whom respect is owed, honor to whom honor is owed. Romans 13:6-7 ESV.   Jesus gives us life everlasting (see Matthew 25:45-46) when we accept him as our personal savior.  In turning to Jesus we give up only what would hurt us. In accepting Jesus we gain that measure of hope (see Ephesians 1:18) the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints.  We gather that gold refined by the fire (see Revelation 3:17) as we lead others to Jesus!

Is Jesus calling you?   Do you want contentment?  Do you want to find true happiness, peace and purpose in your life?  If the answer is yes to any of these questions please click the following link; http://www.admenu.com/calling.htm

[The Resurrection of Christ] Now I would remind you, brothers, of the gospel I preached to you, which you received, in which you stand, For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received: that Christ died for our sins in accordance with the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day in accordance with the Scriptures, Romans 3:23-24 ESV.

The Humiliation of Babylon

Today’s Feast
Apr. 14, 2014 – Isaiah 47
The Humiliation of Babylon

Gods Not Dead! Share the Feast in God’s Word; join us sharing God’s Word daily as Easter, Sunday April 20th approaches!

"8 O daughter of Babylon, doomed to be destroyed,
blessed shall he be who repays you
with what you have done to us!” Psalm 137:8

Isaiah Chapter 47 , “God's judgments on Babylon. (1-6) Carelessness and confidence shall not prevent the evil. (7-15)” -  Matthew Henry Concise

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our Feast by reading Isaiah Chapter 47.   This prophecy describes the god Babylon as female (see Psalm 71:18) symbol who is in distress.   Those that worship her are miserable (see Zephaniah 2:15) and God will utterly destroy her and all that worship her are lost. “15 Such to you are those with whom you have labored, who have done business with you from your youth; they wander about, each in his own direction; there is no one to save you. Isaiah 46:12-13  English Standard Versions (ESV).   When you pray who are you calling on, in   whose name (see Colossians 3:16-17) are praying?  We do not pray to any or in any other (see Romans 6:23) name than Jesus. Jesus (see Titus 3:7) set men free from sin and death first on the cross then in the resurrection.   In the end Babylon will be (see Revelation 14:8, Revelation 16:19, Revelation 17:5) humiliated

The Idols of Babylon and the One True God

Today’s Feast

Apr. 13, 2014 – Isaiah 46
The Idols of Babylon and the One True God
Gods Not Dead! Share the Feast in God’s Word; join us sharing God’s Word daily as Easter, Sunday April 20th approaches!

"44 And I will punish Bel in Babylon,
    and take out of his mouth what he has swallowed. The nations shall no longer flow to him;
the wall of Babylon has fallen.”
Jeremiah 51:44

Isaiah Chapter 46 , “The idols could not save themselves, but God saves his people. (1-4) The folly of worshipping idols. (5-13)” -  Matthew Henry Concise

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our Feast by reading Isaiah Chapter 45 This prophecy was given (see Psalm 71:18) to show our God as true and all Idols (others gods) ineffective.  The Lord Jehovah our God is the (see Isaiah 44:8) only God, there are no others. “12 “Listen to me, you stubborn of heart, you who are far from righteousness: 13 I bring near my righteousness; it is not far off, and my salvation will not delay; I will put salvation in Zion, for Israel my glory.” Isaiah 46:12-13  English Standard Versions (ESV).   Ignoring God and his plan for our lives will bring the same rewards (see Romans 6:23) as worshipping idols or praying in any other name than Jesus. God the Father sent Jesus (see John 3:16) to redeem us rather than to condemn us!  for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and are justified by his grace as a gift, through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus, Romans 3:23-24 ESV.  It isn’t a matter of religion or how we present ourselves; the matter is do we love (see 1 Corinthians 13:1-3) Jesus, and the Church, is our faith in Jesus or things of the flesh.  Jesus is the only name (see Acts 4:12) by which we are saved!

Is Jesus calling you?   Do you want to serve Jesus?  Do you want to find true happiness, peace and purpose in your life?  If the answer is yes to any of these questions please click the following link; http://www.admenu.com/calling.htm

The Lord, the Only Savior

Today’s Feast

"22 “Turn to me and be saved,
all the ends of the earth!
For I am God, and there is no other.”
Isaiah 45:22

Isaiah Chapter 45 , “The deliverance of the Jews by Cyrus. (1-4) God calls for obedience to his almighty power. (5-10)The settlement of his people. (11-19) The conversion of the Gentiles. (20-25)” -  Matthew Henry Concise

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our Feast by reading Isaiah Chapter 45 This prophecy is about the power of our awesome God anointing Cyrus king of Persia (see 2 Chronicles 36:22-23) to build him a house at Jerusalem.  The Lord Jehovah is the (see Isaiah 44:8) only God, there are no others. Whatever good thing God’s people need and pray for will (see Jeremiah 31:9) be delivered. Let the nations draw near to God; “24 “Only in the Lord, it shall be said of me, are righteousness and strength; to him shall come and be ashamed all who were incensed against him.  25 In the Lord all the offspring of Israel shall be justified and shall glory.” Isaiah 43:25  English Standard Versions (ESV).   There is no other God, don’t be fooled by those who (see Galatians 1:6-8) would pervert the Word of God.  Jesus is the only one God the Father sent (see John 3:16) to redeem us from every sin!  Listen Saints our Lord Jesus charged us with the duty to carry the Gospel to the world; [ Take Up Your Cross and Follow Jesus ] And he said to all, “If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me. For whoever would save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake will save it. Luke 9:23-24 ESV.   Jesus is the only savior (see Acts 4:12) for Jew and Gentile alike!

Can you still hear Jesus calling you?   Do you want to be free to serve Jesus?  Do you want to find true happiness, peace and purpose in your life?  If the answer is yes to any of these questions please click the following link; http://www.admenu.com/calling.htm

For while we were still weak, at the right time Christ died for the ungodly. For one will scarcely die for a righteous person—though perhaps for a good person one would dare even to die— but God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:6-8 ESV.  .
