Jeremiah Chapter 34; Zedekiah's death at Babylon foretold. (1-7) The Jews reproved for compelling their poor brethren to return to unlawful bondage. (8-22)”  -  Matthew Henry Concise

Dear Saints,
Today we prayerfully continue our Feast reading the book of Jeremiah Chapter 34.
Verses 1-7 Zedekiah is told that the city shall be taken, and that he shall die a captive, but he shall die a natural death. It is better to live and die penitent in a prison, than to live and die impenitent in a palace.
Verses 8-22 A Jew should not be held in servitude above seven years. This law they and their fathers had broken. And when there was some hope that the siege was raised, they forced the servants they had released into their services again. Those who think to cheat God by dissembled repentance and partial reformation, put the greatest cheat upon their own souls. This shows that liberty to sin, is really only liberty to have the sorest judgments. It is just with God to disappoint expectations of mercy, when we disappoint the expectations of duty. And when reformation springs only from terror, it is seldom lasting. Solemn vows thus entered into, profane the ordinances of God; and the most forward to bind themselves by appeals to God, are commonly most ready to break them. Let us look to our hearts, that our repentance may be real, and take care that the law of God regulates our conduct.”  -  Matthew Henry Concise  “22 Behold, I will command, declares the Lord, and will bring them back to this city. And they will fight against it and take it and burn it with fire.  I will make the cities of Judah a desolation without inhabitant.”Jeremiah 34:22 English Standard Versions (ESV).  Every verse we read today screams of God’s glory, love and mercy (see Peter 1:20-25 ) he never turns away a person with a repentant, loving and contrite heart.  “Enter by the narrow gate. For the gate is wide and the way is easy that leads to destruction, and those who enter by it are many. For the gate is narrow and the way is hard that leads to life, and those who find it are few.“  Matthew 7:13-14 ESV.  Our God is righteous; Jesus is a perfect man without sin (see 1 Peter 1:18-20) there is no other one fit to impart righteousness to us.  I’ve heard people saying if God really loves us (see 1 Corinthians 1:18) why does he allow … or he wouldn’t allow people to suffer.  God gives us the freedom to see and evaluate all of the possibilities for ourselves (see 2 Corinthians 4:3) so we can see if we want to live in bondage to sin or not.  While those who are perishing (see 1 Corinthians 1:18) are blinded to the truth.  We are ambassadors for Christ, we are the light of the world and (see Matthew 5:14-16) Jesus has put us here so those who are lost might see God’s love.  If we imitate Jesus as we carry the Word we will never (see john 8:12) walk in darkness.  Basing what we know for sure about God’s love for the people in the world (see john 3:16) we know how important it is to season all we do with (see 1 Corinthians 13:1-3) LOVE.   We understand (see 1 Corinthians 13:4-7) what love is and what love is not.  Therefor we as ambassadors for Jesus will continue sharing God’s Love until (see 1 Corinthians 13:8) love ends.

Jeremiah Chapter 33; The restoration of the Jews. (1-13) The Messiah promised; happiness of his times. (14-26)”  -  Matthew Henry Concise

Dear Saints,
Today we prayerfully continue our Feast reading the book of Jeremiah Chapter 33.
Verses 1-13 Those who expect to receive comforts from God, must call upon him. Promises are given, not to do away, but to quicken and encourage prayer. These promises lead us to the gospel of Christ; and in that God has revealed truth to direct us, and peace to make us easy. All who by sanctifying grace are cleansed from the filth of sin, by pardoning mercy are freed from the guilt. When sinners are thus justified, washed, and sanctified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Holy Spirit, they are enabled to walk before God in peace and purity. Many are led to perceive the real difference between the people of God and the world around them, and to fear the Divine wrath. It is promised that the people who were long in sorrow, shall again be filled with joy. Where the Lord gives righteousness and peace, he will give all needful supplies for temporal wants; and all we have will be comforts, as sanctified by the word and by prayer.
Verses 14-26 To crown the blessings God has in store, here is a promise of the Messiah. He imparts righteousness to his church, for he is made of God to us righteousness; and believers are made the righteousness of God in him. Christ is our Lord God, our righteousness, our sanctification, and our redemption. His kingdom is an everlasting kingdom. But in this world prosperity and adversity succeed each other, as light and darkness, day and night. The covenant of priesthood shall be secured. And all true believers are a holy priesthood, a royal priesthood, they offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God; themselves, in the first place, as living sacrifices. The promises of that covenant shall have full accomplishment in the gospel Israel. In Ga. 6:16, all that walk according to the gospel rule, are made to be the Israel of God, on whom shall be peace and mercy. Let us not despise the families which were of old the chosen people of God, though for a time they seem to be cast off.”  -  Matthew Henry Concise  “23 The word of the LORD came to Jeremiah: 24 "Have you not noticed that these people are saying, 'The LORD has rejected the two kingdoms he chose'? So they despise my people and no longer regard them as a nation. 25 This is what the LORD says: 'If I have not established my covenant with day and night and the fixed laws of heaven and earth, 26 then I will reject the descendants of Jacob and David my servant and will not choose one of his sons to rule over the descendants of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. For I will restore their fortunes and have compassion on them.' "Jeremiah 33:23-26  English Standard Versions (ESV) Dear Saint Jesus paid the full price to redeem you, (see Romans 5:7-9 ) so when you catch yourself in a sin be quick to repent and call on God in the name of Jesus for forgiveness.  “God, the Lord, is my strength; he makes my feet like the deer's; he makes me tread on my high places. To the choirmaster: with stringed instruments.“  Habakkuk 3:19 ESV.  Now we share God’s gift Jesus (see 1 Corinthians 13:1-3) cheerfully with love to all of our neighbors.  Let us put all sin, filthiness and rampant wickedness behind us (see James 1:21-23) because Jesus ransomed us to be doers of God’s Word and not hearers only

Jeremiah Chapter 32; Jeremiah buys a field. (1-15) The prophet's prayer. (16-25) God declares that he will give up his people, but promises to restore them. (26-44)”  -  Matthew Henry Concise

Dear Saints,
Today we prayerfully continue our Feast reading the book of Jeremiah Chapter 32.  While imprisoned for his prophecy and during the siege God tells Jeremiah, to buy a field (see Jeremiah 32:1-15) He obeys God for it is a confirmation that the land will be returned.  Jeremiah prays as the Chaldeans overtake the city (see Jeremiah 32:16-25) confirming his faith in God’s laws, providence and promises.  God shows the reason for His wrath against this generation of Jews (see Jeremiah 32:26-44) and promises that for the later generations he shall make whole and be their God.  “42 "For thus says the LORD: Just as I have brought all this great disaster upon this people, so I will bring upon them all the good that I promise them. 43 Fields shall be bought in this land of which you are saying, 'It is a desolation, without man or beast; it is given into the hand of the Chaldeans.' 44Fields shall be bought for money, and deeds shall be signed and sealed and witnessed, in the land of Benjamin, in the places about Jerusalem, and in the cities of Judah, in the cities of the hill country, in the cities of the Shephelah, and in the cities of the Negeb; for I will restore their fortunes, declares the LORD."Jeremiah 31:38-40  English Standard Versions (ESV).  If we find ourselves under trials we should take heart, (see 1 Peter 5:10 ) by grace Jesus will carry us through all trials.  Our Lord Jesus laid plans for us from the beginning; “Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever you had formed the earth and the world, from everlasting to everlasting you are God. For a thousand years in your sight are but as yesterday when it is past, or as a watch in the night.“  Psalm 90:2,4  ESV.  He is our God; Jesus was with God and he is God (see John 1:1-5 ) there isn’t one thing made without Jesus. Think about what we gave up to follow Jesus (see 1 Corinthians 15:53) as it turns out it is what we can’t keep by any means.

Is Jesus calling you?  Do you want to be free?  Do you want to find true happiness, peace and purpose in your life?  If the answer is yes to any of these questions please click the following link; http://www.admenu.com/calling.htm

Dear Saints,
Today we prayerfully continue our Feast reading the book of Jeremiah Chapter 31.  God says he will restore the covenant with Israel (see Jeremiah 31:1-9) He will hear their plea and gather them from all the earth.  God scattered His People for a time (see Jeremiah 31:10-17) when their time comes God will gather them back.   Then Judah will sing God’s praises (see Jeremiah 31:21-26) because of God’s grace they will dwell together again.  The new covenant (see Jeremiah 31:27-34) is really God’s promise of the coming Messiah Jesus.  God’s promise to Abraham will be fulfilled; His people will gather together forever (see Jeremiah 31:35-40) and by the grace of God thru the coming Messiah Jesus we are adopted into God’s family.  “38 "Behold, the days are coming, declares the LORD, when the city shall be rebuilt for the LORD from the Tower of Hananel to the Corner Gate. 39 And the measuring line shall go out farther, straight to the hill Gareb, and shall then turn to Goah. 40 The whole valley of the dead bodies and the ashes, and all the fields as far as the brook Kidron, to the corner of the Horse Gate toward the east, shall be sacred to the LORD. It shall not be uprooted or overthrown anymore forever."Jeremiah 31:38-40  English Standard Versions (ESV).  God will reward those who accepts Jesus (see Matthew 3:8-10 ) each one according to their fruits.  Let every believer stay true to Jesus; “17 so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith--that you, being rooted and grounded in love, 18 may have strength to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, 19 and to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God. “  Ephesians 3:17-19 ESV.   Because we were saved by Jesus (not of ourselves) we understand what it is to be slaves to sin; (see Colossians 1:21-23) therefor we should be steadfast in encouraging others to accept Jesus.  Remember God is not willing (see 2 Peter 3:9) that anyone should perish in their sin.  Salvation is here for anyone who will accept God’s gift to whoever (see John 3:16) is willing to accept Jesus.

Do you hear Jesus calling you?  Do you want to know His plans for you?  Do you want to find true happiness, peace and purpose in your life?  If the answer is yes to any of these questions please click the following link; http://www.admenu.com/calling.htm
