“11 the LORD delights in those who fear him, who put their hope in his unfailing love.” Psalm 147:11

Dear Saints,
Today we prayerfully continue our Feast reading the book of Jeremiah Chapter 46; “The defeat of the Egyptians. (1-12) Their overthrow after the siege of Tyre. (13-26) A promise of comfort to the Jews. (27,28)”- Matthew Henry Concise.
The Word of God comes to Jeremiah (see Jeremiah 46:1-12) it is Prophecy against Egypt.  The lands of Egypt (see Jeremiah 46:13-26) fall to Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon. Judgment comes to Egypt for her sins while (see Jeremiah 46:27-28 ) comfort comes to God’s people their sins paid for and forgiven. “28 Fear not, O Jacob my servant, declares the Lord, for I am with you. I will make a full end of all the nations to which I have driven you, but of you I will not make a full end.  I will discipline you in just measure, and I will by no means leave you unpunished.” Jeremiah 44:30  English Standard Version (ESV).  There is a price that must be paid for sin, (see Romans 6:23) Jesus paid that price for our sin, by His sacrifice (see 1 Peter 2:22-24 ) the repentant are saved. “For what does it profit a man to gain the whole world and forfeit his soul?Mark 8:36 ESV.  Every sin puts our soul in danger of destruction (see John 3:16) Jesus made a way for those who repent and accept God’s gift.  We can tell the world with great confidence (see Acts 4:12) Jesus is the only name under heaven by which people are comforted and saved.

Can you hear Jesus calling you?  Are you ready to turn from your sins?  Do you want to find true happiness, peace and purpose in your life?  If the answer is yes to any of these questions please click the following link; http://www.admenu.com/calling.htm

Judgment for Idolatry

“17 Anyone, then, who knows the good he ought to do and doesn't do it, sins.” James 4:17-17

Dear Saints,
Today we prayerfully continue our Feast reading the book of Jeremiah Chapter 44The Jews in Egypt persist in idolatry. (1-14) They refuse to reform. (15-19) Jeremiah then denounces destruction upon them. (20-30)“ & Chapter 45An encouragement sent to Baruch.”- Matthew Henry Concise.
The Word of God comes to Jeremiah (see Jeremiah 44:1-14 ) the Jews have persisted in worshiping false gods.  These people have sworn to follow (see Jeremiah 44:15-19) false gods, images, or honor saints, and angels, and the queen of heaven.   The Word of God will stand (see Jeremiah 44:20-30) those who worship false gods will be destroyed; “30 Thus says the Lord, Behold, I will give Pharaoh Hophra king of Egypt into the hand of his enemies and into the hand of those who seek his life, as I gave Zedekiah king of Judah into the hand of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, who was his enemy and sought his life.”Jeremiah 44:30  English Standard Version (ESV).  Those who repent and turn to God (see Jeremiah 45:1-5 ) will be saved. “4 Thus shall you say to him, Thus says the Lord: Behold, what I have built I am breaking down, and what I have planted I am plucking up—that is, the whole land. 5 And do you seek great things for yourself? Seek them not, for behold, I am bringing disaster upon all flesh, declares the Lord. But I will give you your life as a prize of war in all places to which you may go.”Jeremiah 45:4-5  ESV.   Just what is it God wants from people?   Jesus said that the greatest commandment of all (see Matthew 22:35-40) calls on us to love first God, then others and ourselves. “25 Husbands, love your wives, as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her, that he might sanctify her, having cleansed her by the washing of water with the word, Ephesians 5:25-26 ESV.  Saints you can’t hate or disrespect you wife and please God (see Ephesians 5:31) because you and your spouse become one in Christ.   Without love we cannot please God (see 1 Corinthians 13:1-3) in any way.  No one can keep or worship the Idols of this world and love God (see Matthew 6:24) in Jesus name.

Dear Saints,
Today we prayerfully continue our Feast reading the book of Jeremiah Chapter 43; “The leaders carry the people to Egypt. (1-7) Jeremiah foretells the conquest of Egypt. (8-13)
Verses 1-7 Only by pride comes contention, both with God and man. They preferred their own wisdom to the revealed will of God. Men deny the Scriptures to be the word of God, because they are resolved not to conform themselves to Scripture rules. When men will persist in sin, they charge the best actions to bad motives. These Jews deserted their own land, and threw themselves out of God's protection. It is the folly of men, that they often ruin themselves by wrong endeavours to mend their situation.
Verses 8-13 God can find his people wherever they are. The Spirit of prophecy was not confined to the land of Israel. It is foretold that Nebuchadnezzar should destroy and carry into captivity many of the Egyptians. Thus God makes one wicked man, or wicked nation, a scourge and plague to another. He will punish those who deceive his professing people, or tempt them to rebellion.” - Matthew Henry Concise.
Jeremiah warns the people to go to Egypt to live there (see Jeremiah 43:1-7) they were insolent and called him a liar and because of their unbelief they are sent to Egypt. God will set one wicked nation (see Jeremiah 43:8-13) over another to accomplish His will; “12 I shall kindle a fire in the temples of the gods of Egypt, and he shall burn them and carry them away captive. And he shall clean the land of Egypt as a shepherd cleans his cloak of vermin, and he shall go away from there in peace. 13 He shall break the obelisks of Heliopolis, which is in the land of Egypt, and the temples of the gods of Egypt he shall burn with fire.’”Jeremiah 43:12-13  English Standard Version (ESV).  Jesus wants you and I to teach our children the basis for our faith (see Deuteronomy 4:9) to raise them up to give glory to God. “Fathers, do not provoke your children to anger, but bring them up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord. Ephesians 6:4 ESV. Good parents will bring their children up secure (see 2 Timothy 3:15) in the knowledge that Jesus is sent by God to deliver them from sin.   Teach them that Jesus (see 2 Timothy 1:5) is the most important legacy we have.  Teach them about the good work God has started in us (see Philippians 1:6) and make sure they understand Jesus will deliver them safely from destruction.  Do not allow your child to be taken away to serve any other god.

Do you hear Jesus calling you?  Are you ready to do what is right?  Do you want to find true happiness, peace and purpose in your life?  If the answer is yes to any of these questions please click the following link; http://www.admenu.com/calling.htm

Warning Against Going to Egypt

Warning Against Going to Egypt

“23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,” Romans 3:23

Dear Saints,
Today we prayerfully continue our Feast reading the book of Jeremiah Chapter 42; “Johanan desires Jeremiah to ask counsel of God. (1-6) They are assured of safety in Judea, but of destruction in Egypt. (7-22)” - Matthew Henry Concise.  Jeremiah is called upon by the remnant of Judah to seek God’s will (see Jeremiah 42:1-6) vowing to do whatever God would answer.  Jeremiah delivers God’s answer to them; (see Jeremiah 42:7-22) they are to stay put and be blessed.  If they go to Egypt they will be destroyed; “21 And I have this day declared it to you, but you have not obeyed the voice of the Lord your God in anything that he sent me to tell you. 22 Now therefore know for a certainty that you shall die by the sword, by famine, and by pestilence in the place where you desire to go to live.”Jeremiah 42:21-22  English Standard Version (ESV). God is not waiting for people to make a mistake (see Psalm 103:11) so He can beat down on them.  On the contrary God is waiting on them to (see Psalm 103:13) do what is best for them. “Sing to God, sing praises to his name; lift up a song to him who rides through the deserts; his name is the Lord; exult before him! 5 Father of the fatherless and protector of widows is God in his holy habitation. Psalm 68:4-5 ESV. God sees all of the pain and suffering caused by disobedience (see Psalm 10:14) and he sent Jesus to redeem those who love His righteousness.   We cherish the salvation brought to us by Jesus (see 1 Timothy 6:20) and we will ignore the babble and contradictions of those who are full of their own wisdom.  Hold on to the good work God has started in us (see Philippians 1:6) and know that Jesus will deliver us safely from destruction.

Is Jesus calling you?  Are you ready to do what is right?  Do you want to find true happiness, peace and purpose in your life?  If the answer is yes to any of these questions please click the following link; http://www.admenu.com/calling.htm
