Dear
Saints,
Today we prayerfully continue our Feast by
reading the book of Hebrews Chapter 6; “The Hebrews are urged to go forward in the doctrine of
Christ, and the consequences of apostacy, or turning back, are
described. (1-8) The apostle expresses satisfaction, as to the most of
them. (9,10) And encourages them to persevere in faith and
holiness. (11-20)”

Concise.
Let maturity rule in your walk with Jesus (see
Hebrews
6:1-8) think of more than the basics we’ve been taught
about Christ. We all belong to God, (see Hebrews 6:9-10) Jesus won’t forget the love you have shown his
people.
The Holy Spirit makes us
strong in our hope, (see
Hebrews
6:11-20) which is the anchor for
our soul. “19 We have this as a sure and
steadfast anchor of the soul, a hope that enters into the inner place behind the
curtain,
20 where Jesus has gone as a forerunner on our behalf, having become a
high priest forever after the order of Melchizedek.” Hebrews
6:19-20 English Standard Version (ESV). Salvation is not by men or what they might do
for us (see
Psalm 130:7) our hope is in Jesus. “The heart is deceitful above all
things, and desperately sick; who can understand it? “I the Lord search the
heart and test the mind, to give every man according to his ways, according to
the fruit of his deeds.”” Jeremiah
17:9-10 ESV. Stay on
course keep praying and reading God’s Word (see
Ephesians
1:11-13) because in Jesus we find the hope that
leads to salvation.

Christ and go on to maturity, not laying again a foundation of repentance from
dead works and of faith toward God,” Hebrews

Saints,
Today we prayerfully
continue our Feast by reading the book of Hebrews Chapter 5; “The office and duty of a high priest abundantly answered
in Christ. (1-10) The Christian Hebrews reproved for their little progress
in the knowledge of the gospel. (11-14)” - Matthew Henry
Concise.
Let Jesus our high priest be the example (see
Hebrews
5:1-10) by which we model our walk and share our faith. We must pray
and study God’s Word daily, (see
Hebrews
5:11-14) in order to effectively
share Jesus with others. “13 for everyone who lives on milk is unskilled in the word
of righteousness, since he is a child. 14 But solid food is for the mature, for
those who have their powers of discernment trained by constant practice to
distinguish good from evil.” Hebrews
5:13-14 English Standard Version (ESV). As
followers of Jesus we must prepare ourselves (see
Ephesians
6:10-20) at every opportunity in
order to be fit and stand against evil. “[ Gifts of Grace ] For by the
grace given to me I say to everyone among you not to think of himself more
highly than he ought to think, but to think with sober judgment, each according
to the measure of faith that God has assigned. ” Romans 12:3 ESV. Jesus
left us a great commission; (see
Matthew
28:16-20) make disciples of all nations, baptizing
them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy
Spirit.

Today we prayerfully continue our
Feast by reading the book of Hebrews Chapter 4; “Humble, cautious fear is urged, lest any should come short
of the promised rest, through unbelief.(1-10) Arguments and motives to faith and hope in our approaches
to God. (11-16)” - Matthew
Henry Concise.
God’s promises us we will enter into His rest therefor
we must be diligent (see Hebrews 4:1) to hold on to
and share our faith. Jesus is our
great high priest, (see
Hebrews
4:14) , hold on to what we have said about him. “15 For we do not have a high priest who
is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but one who in every respect has
been tempted as we are, yet without sin. 16 Let us then
with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and
find grace to help in time of need.” Hebrews
4:15-16 English Standard Version (ESV).
Do what you have been called to
do loving both God and your neighbors “37 And he said to him, “You
shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with
all your mind. 38 This is the
great and first commandment. 39 And a second
is like it: You shall love your neighbor as
yourself.” Matthew 22:37-39 ESV. It is
imperative that we hold onto and stress that (see
Romans 1:28-31)
that today is the day of salvation, while we can
still hear Jesus our great and high priest
calling.

LORD, be gracious to us; we long for you. Be our strength every morning, our
salvation in time of distress. ” Isaiah

Today we prayerfully
continue our Feast by reading the book of Hebrews Chapter 3;
“The superior worth and dignity of
Christ above Moses is shown. (1-6) The Hebrews are warned of the sin and danger of
unbelief. (7-13) And of necessity of faith in Christ, and of stedfastly
following him. (14-19)”

Be brave, don’t lose hope as those who followed Moses
did because (see
Hebrews
3:1-6 ) Jesus our leader and savior is greater than
Moses. Be of good faith encourage one
another each day so that you (see
Hebrews
3:7-13) will enter into God’s rest. We are
not like people that heard God’s voice and rebelled (see
Hebrews
3:14-19) therefor we shall dwell
with Jesus forever. “17 Now with whom
was He angry forty years? Was it not with those who sinned, whose corpses
fell in the wilderness? 18 And to whom did He swear that they would not enter
His rest, but to those who did not obey? 19 So we see that they could not enter
in because of unbelief.” Hebrews
3:17-19 New King James Version (NKJV). Trust God who began a good work in us (see
Philippians
1:6) to see that work
through to completion; “The Lord will perfect that which concerns me; Your
mercy, O Lord, endures forever; Do not forsake the works of Your
hands.” Psalm 138:8 NKJV. Do not look to or trust in men for help (see
Hebrews
12:2) keep your eyes on and trust in Jesus who
died for us.
