“25 Therefore he
is able to save completely those who come to God through him, because he always
lives to intercede for them.”
Hebrews
7:25

Dear
Saints,
Today we prayerfully continue our Feast by
reading the book of Hebrews Chapter 9; “The Jewish tabernacle and its utensils. (1-5) Their use and
meaning. (6-10) These fulfilled in
Christ. (11-22) The necessity,
superior dignity, and power of his priesthood and sacrifice. (23-28)” - Matthew Henry Concise.
The first covenant
included rules for worship and a tent with utilities (see
Hebrews 9:1-5) used in worshiping God. This is where the priests went to do their
duties (see
Hebrews 9: 6-10) including blood sacrifices for their own and
God’s people’s sins. Jesus our high priest came to us with a new covenant
(see
Hebrews 9:11-22) which includes redemption through the blood
of Christ. You and I suffer death once,
then the judgment (see Hebrews 9:23-28) Jesus
died once to cover all the sins of mankind; “27 And just as it is
appointed for man to die once, and after that comes judgment, 28 so
Christ, having been offered once to bear the sins of many, will appear a second
time, not to deal with sin but to save those who are eagerly waiting for
him.” Hebrews 9:27-28 English Standard Version (ESV). Those
who wait on the Lord (see Isaiah 11:11) will rejoice in the second coming of Jesus;
“4 and you will say in
that day: “Give thanks to the Lord, call upon his name, make known his deeds
among the peoples, proclaim that his name is exalted.” Isaiah 12:4 ESV. You and
I are to proclaim (see 1 John 5:6) salvation in
the name of Jesus. We are to carry the
good news throughout the whole world (see Matthew 28:18-20)
baptizing them in the name of the Father, Jesus and the Holy Spirit. We are redeemed by the blood of
Christ!

“17 For this reason he
had to be made like his brothers in every way, in order that he might become a
merciful and faithful high
priest in service to God, and that he might make atonement
for the sins of the people.” Hebrews 2:17

Dear
Saints,
Today
we prayerfully continue our Feast by reading the book of Hebrews Chapter 8;
“ Verses
1-6 The substance, or summary, of what had been declared was, that
Christians had such a High Priest as they needed… The promises of all
spiritual blessings, and of eternal life, revealed in the gospel, and made
sure through Christ, are of infinitely greater value. Let us bless God that
we have a High Priest that suits our helpless condition.
Verses
7-13 The superior excellence of the priesthood of Christ, above
that of Aaron, is shown from that covenant of grace, of which Christ was
Mediator… Let
us search whether we are taught by the Holy Spirit to know Christ, so as
uprightly to love, fear, trust, and obey him. All worldly vanities, outward
privileges, or mere notions of religion, will soon vanish away, and leave
those who trust in them miserable for ever.” - Matthew
Henry Concise.
Today we celebrate our independence in the USA; (see
John
8:36 ) only those set free by Jesus are truly free.
![]()
“SCRIPTURES: Jer 2:29 "What do you have against
me, running off to assert your ‘independence’?" GOD’s Decree.
I am writing this on July 4th as we celebrate our
independence as a nation. Our forefathers and founders of our nation were
Godly men. They believed in God and sought His direction as they voted and
formed the laws of the land… … We have chosen the politically correct posture rather
than standing up for Christian principle… Moral laws have been declared
outdated and we have accepted moral decline as a substitute. Sins that were
declared to be an abomination by the Lord have been deemed permissible and
normal…
Where are we headed as a nation? The scripture today
raises a question for America to answer. What do we have against God? He has
blessed us so exceedingly and what is our response? The Bible says, “Woe unto
those who call evil good, and good evil.” We must have revival for survival
here in America. Let us join arms and hearts and as a nation of Godly people
repent and pray, “Lord Send Revival and Let it begin in me.”
PRAYER THOUGHT:
Dear Jesus, we need to have revival spread through our
nation and cause a national repentance and movement of God. We ask that once
again Godliness be a mark of our nation and realize that greatness is only
achieved through the presence of God in our hearts. This day we pledge seek
first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness for the sake of our nation and
our children. In the Name of Jesus we pray. Amen”

“9 That if you
confess with your mouth, "Jesus is
Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the
dead, you will be saved.”
Romans 10:9

Dear
Saints,
Today we prayerfully continue our Feast by
reading the book of Hebrews Chapter 7; “A comparison
between the priesthood of Melchizedec and that of Christ. (1-3) The excellence of Christ's priesthood above the Levitical
priesthood is shown. (4-10) This is applied to Christ. (11-25) The faith and hope of the church encouraged from
this. (26-28)” - Matthew Henry Concise.
The Parallel
between Jesus and the priesthood of Melchizedec (see
Hebrews 7:1-3) is
drawn here in the first three verses. Abraham gave Melchizedec a tithe (a tenth) of his spoils
(see
Hebrews 7:4-10) and Melchizedek blessed Abraham. According to God’s law priests must be
descendants of Levi (see Hebrews 7:11-25) neither they nor the law could forgive sin. So God sent Jesus to change the law(see Hebrews 7:26-28) being a priest after the order of Melchizedek
to save us; “26 For it was
indeed fitting that we should have such a high priest, holy, innocent,
unstained, separated from sinners, and exalted above the heavens. 27 He has no
need, like those high priests, to offer sacrifices daily, first for his own sins
and then for those of the people, since he did this once for all when he offered
up himself. 28 For the law appoints men in their weakness as high priests, but
the word of the oath, which came later than the law, appoints a Son who has been
made perfect forever.” Hebrews 7:26-28 English Standard Version (ESV). Jesus
is the only name under heaven (see Acts 4:12) by which we can be saved. “13 Christ redeemed us
from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us—for it is written, “Cursed
is everyone who is hanged on a tree”— 14 so that
in Christ Jesus the blessing of Abraham might come to the Gentiles, so that we
might receive the promised Spirit through faith.” Galatians 3:13-14
ESV. Again I say “Stay on course keep praying and
reading God’s Word”; (see Romans 10:17) because faith comes
by hearing and hearing by the word of Jesus.
Do you hear Jesus
calling? Do you believe the bible is God’s Word? Do you want to find true happiness, peace and
purpose in your life? If the answer is
yes to any of these questions please click the following link;
