Dear Saints,
Today we prayerfully continue our Feast by reading the book of Hebrews Chapter 12;An exhortation to be constant and persevere, The example of Christ is set forth, and the gracious design of God in all the sufferings believers endured. (1-11) Peace and holiness are recommended, with cautions against despising spiritual blessings. (12-17) The New Testament dispensation shown to be much more excellent than the Old. (18-29)- Matthew Henry Concise.
We are in war against sin as we serve Jesus (see Hebrews 11:1-3) winning can’t be by any means we must glorify God in all our actions.  Do not resist the discipline from the Lord; (see Psalm 94:12) our Heavenly Father disciplines the ones He loves.  We need to keep our heads held high and avoid sinning (see Hebrews 12:12-17) as ambassadors for Christ we must be humble and honorable.  Through Jesus, we have a new covenant (see Hebrews 12:18-29 ) where we please God by worshiping in the name of Jesus.  This new covenant cannot be shaken by men or angels; “27 The words “once again” mean that these created things will someday be shaken and removed. Then what cannot be shaken will last. 28 We should be grateful that we were given a kingdom that cannot be shaken. And in this kingdom we please God by worshiping him and by showing him great honor and respect.29 Our God is like a destructive fire!Hebrews 12:27-29 English Standard Version (ESV).  How well we perform our service to God in the name of Jesus (see 1 Corinthians 3:13) will be revealed by fire on the day of judgment.  “I bow down toward your holy temple and give thanks to your name for your steadfast love and your faithfulness, for you have exalted above all things your name and your word.  Psalm 138:2 ESV.  Because Jesus died for all people, (see 1 Timothy 2:8) our desire is that all people should know Jesus our founder of perfects faith.

Dear Saints,
Today we prayerfully continue our Feast by reading the book of Hebrews Chapter 11;The nature and power of faith described. (1-3) It is set forth by instances from Abel to Noah. (4-7)By Abraham and his descendants. (8-19) By Jacob, Joseph, Moses, the Israelites, and Rahab.(20-31) By other Old Testament believers. (32-38) The better state of believers under the gospel. (39,40)- Matthew Henry Concise.
By our faith we are shown to be servants of Jesus (see Hebrews 11:1-3) saved solely by faith, we know all things were made by the Word of God Jesus.  By faith, Abel offered God a better sacrifice than Cain (see Hebrews 11:4-7) all who please God do so in faith.  As heirs of Abraham by faith we avoid worldly relations, interests, and comforts (see Hebrews 11:8-19 ) our faith tells us God has a better plan for us.  This faith was found in Jacob, Joseph, Moses, the Israelites, and Rahab (see Hebrews 11:20-31) and again in all who trust Jesus as their savior.  Because of their faith (see Hebrews 11:39-40) God has blessed more decedents of Abraham rich and poor than I can list here; “39 And all these, though commended through their faith, did not receive what was promised, 40 since God had provided something better for us, that apart from us they should not be made perfect.Hebrews 11:39-40 English Standard Version (ESV).  In order to grow stronger in our faith we who love Jesus (see Romans 10:17) continually pray and read the Word of God; “30 This God—his way is perfect; the word of the Lord proves true; he is a shield for all those who take refuge in him.  Psalm 18:30 ESV.  Because of the great faith of God’s people in Jesus, (see  Romans 8:1) we are without condemnation in this world and the one to come.

“11 Clearly no one is justified before God by the law, because, "The righteous will live by faith."” Galatians 3:11

Dear Saints,
Today we prayerfully continue our Feast by reading the book of Hebrews Chapter 10;The insufficiency of sacrifices for taking away sin, The necessity and power of the sacrifice of Christ for that purpose. (1-18) An argument for holy boldness in the believer's access to God through Jesus Christ, And for steadfastness in faith, and mutual love and duty. (19-25) The danger of apostacy. (26-31) The sufferings of believers, and encouragement to maintain their holy profession. (32-39)- Matthew Henry Concise.
The law of God pointed out sin, priests and men had to renew their sacrifices annually (see Hebrews 10:1-10) only the blood sacrifice of Jesus cleans us once and forever.  While the sacrifices under the law (Old Covenant) only atoned for past sin (see Hebrews 10:11-18) the willing sacrifice by Jesus (New Covenant) paid the full price for all of our sins.  While faith in Jesus himself takes us through the curtain into the holy of holies (see Hebrews 10:19-25) we continue to encourage each other by meeting in fellowship.  Being once saved then continuing to sin tramples Jesus underfoot, (see Hebrews 10:26-31) because there is no further sacrifice for our sin.  The happiness of saints in heaven lasts forever (see Hebrews 10:32-39) because living and dying in faith preserves our souls; “38 but my righteous one shall live by faith, and if he shrinks back, my soul has no pleasure in him.” 39 But we are not of those who shrink back and are destroyed, but of those who have faith and preserve their souls. Hebrews 10:38-39 English Standard Version (ESV).  If you feel your faith is diminishing (see Romans 10:17) pray and read the Word of God; “35 Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will not pass away.  Matthew 24:35 ESV.  Let us be sure of the love and faith we find in God’s Word, all people who have faith in Jesus, (see Romans 1:16) are saved already because He was crucified once for all sin.

The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately sick; who can understand it? “I the Lord search the heart and test the mind, to give every man according to his ways, according to the fruit of his deeds.” Jeremiah 17:9-10 ESV.
