Disaster Is Near

Today’s Feast
July 21, 2014-Ezekiel 7
Disaster Is Near

Please join with us sharing God’s Word daily.  We will spend about fifteen minutes a day praying and reading every word in God’s Word in approximately three years.  Gods Not Dead!

19 This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but men loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil John 3:19

Dear Saints,
Today we prayerfully continue our Feast by reading the book of Ezekiel Chapter 7; “The desolation of the land. (1-15) The distress of the few who should escape. (16-22) The captivity.(23-27)“ - Matthew Henry Concise.
Ezekiel was deeply affected by the prospect of God’s judgments (see Ezekiel 7:1-15) they will be universal and God will be glorified in all.  The only thing sin will bring to fruition is death (see Ezekiel 7:16-22) and eternal suffering for the unrepentant. Disaster upon disaster will fall upon them (see Ezekiel 7:23-27) and too late they will know who God is.  Is it too late for our nations (see 2 Chronicles 7:14) to turn away God’s wrath? 26 Disaster comes upon disaster; rumor follows rumor. They seek a vision from the prophet, while the law perishes from the priest and counsel from the elders. 27 The king mourns, the prince is wrapped in despair, and the hands of the people of the land are paralyzed by terror. According to their way I will do to them, and according to their judgments I will judge them, and they shall know that I am the Lord.” Ezekiel 7:26-27 English Standard Version (ESV).  Take a look at the world today; (see 2 Timothy 3 ) do you think that God is being glorified?  I’m not sure if it’s too late for the whole world but I know it is not too late for you and I too make the right choice; I have chosen the way of faithfulness; I set your rules before me.” Isaiah 41:10 ESV.  I can say this without a doubt; Our God does not want to have one single person (see 2 Peter 3:9) die in their sin.  God sent his only son Jesus (see John 3:16) and any one that repents and calls on the name of Jesus will have eternal life.

But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus his Son cleanses us from all sin. If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.” Isaiah 41:10 ESV.

Judgment Against Idolatry

Today’s Feast
July 20, 2014-Ezekiel 6
Judgment Against Idolatry

Please join with us sharing God’s Word daily.  We will spend about fifteen minutes a day praying and reading every word in God’s Word in approximately three years.  Gods Not Dead!

12 Above all, my brothers, do not swear--not by heaven or by earth or by anything else. Let your "Yes" be yes, and your "No," no, or you will be condemned. James 5:12

Dear Saints,
Today we prayerfully continue our Feast by reading the book of Ezekiel Chapter 6 ; “The Divine judgments for idolatry. (1-7) A remnant shall be saved. (8-10) The calamities are to be lamented. (11-14)“ - Matthew Henry Concise.
God tells Ezekiel to tell the people (see Ezekiel 6:1-7) that they will be destroyed because they worship Idols.  Take warning Saint (see Luke 10:27) God wants all of your heart and love.  Those who hate sin will thoroughly despise the flesh because of their sin (see Ezekiel 6:6-10) and they will seek their Lord God’s righteousness.  The prophet throws a fit for the house of Israel because of her sin (see Ezekiel 6:11-14 ) and they will know there is no other God; 14 And I will stretch out my hand against them and make the land a desolate waste from the desert to Diblah--wherever they live. Then they will know that I am the LORD.' "Ezekiel 6:14  English Standard Version (ESV).  We are to love our God with all of our hearts; (see Matthew 22:36-40) and we shall also love our neighbors just as much as we love ourselves. But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus his Son cleanses us from all sin. If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.” Isaiah 41:10 ESV.  Our Lord Jesus is the light of the world; (see John 14:6) and only Jesus can forgive the sin that His light exposes. So avoid every form of idolatry (see 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18) give thanks and pray for each other continually in the name of Jesus.

Jesus Has Our Back!

Today’s Feast

Jesus Has Our Back!

17 Anyone, then, who knows the good he ought to do and doesn't do it, sins. James 4:17

Dear Saints,
Today we prayerfully continue our Feast by reading the book of Lamentations Chapter 5; “A type of hair, showing the judgments about to come upon the Jews. (1-4) These awful judgments are declared. (5-17)“ - Matthew Henry Concise.
The Lord God tells Ezekiel to shave off his head and beard (see Ezekiel 4:1-8) to represent the judgments about to happen to .Jerusalem.  I look at what is going on all over the world today (see Psalm 4:2) and I wonder how long will God put up with this blatant sin.  The prophet announces that God is about to unleash unpitied wrath (see Ezekiel 5:5-17) upon the unrepentant Jews; 17 I will send famine and wild beasts against you, and they will rob you of your children. Pestilence and blood shall pass through you, and I will bring the sword upon you. I am the Lord; I have spoken.” Ezekiel 5:17  English Standard Version (ESV).  God’s judgment will come on this unrepentant world however; (see Revelation 3:10) we’ll continue to share the love of Jesus; 10 fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” Isaiah 41:10 ESV.  We are reminded our God is not a God of fear; to listen to the Holy Spirit (see 2 Timothy 1:6-8) and keep sharing the good news in the power and name of Jesus. Remember Jesus (see 2 Corinthians 4:7-10) always as our back!

But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea that is driven and tossed by the wind. For that person must not suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord; he is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways.” Colossians 2:8-10   ESV.
