God for a lie and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator,

Dear
Saints,
Today we prayerfully continue our Feast by
reading the book of Amos Chapter 2; “Judgments
against Moab and Judah. (1-8) The
ingratitude and ruin of Israel. (9-16)“ - Matthew Henry Concise
Amos warns the nations of Israel and Judah
(see Amos 2:1-8 )
that how they deal with others
affects how God will judge them. God
recounts how He righteously dealt with the Israelites (see Amos
2:9-16} and how he will deal with them because of their transgressions; “16 and he who is stout of heart among
the mighty shall flee away naked in that day," declares the LORD.” Amos 2:16 English Standard Version
(ESV). Some people will put their
trust in men and technology; (see
Psalm
20:7) the faithful will trust
in God. “11
I, I am the LORD, and besides me there is no savior. 12 I declared and saved
and proclaimed, when there was no strange god among you; and you are my
witnesses," declares the LORD, "and I am God.” Isaiah 43:11-12 ESV. The only way we
can speak to God the Father (see John
14:6) is through His son
Jesus. Those who accept God faithfully in Jesus (see John
14:15-17) are promised a helper
which is the Holy Spirit. As you
witness and pray the Holy Spirit will bring (see John 14:26) God’s Word to your remembrance. How we treat others (see Matthew 7:12)
is how God will deal with us.
Jesus is knocking (see Revelation
3:20) will you answer Him? He
wants you to come just as you are! Do
you hear Jesus calling you? Do you want to find true happiness, peace and
purpose in your life? If the answer is yes to any of these questions

An
Overview;
Amos was a herdsman, and engaged in agriculture. But the
same Divine Spirit influenced Isaiah and Daniel in the court, and Amos in the
sheep-folds, giving to each the powers and eloquence needful for them. He
assures the twelve tribes of the destruction of the neighbouring nations; and
as they at that time gave themselves up to wickedness and idolatry, he
reproves the Jewish nation with severity; but describes the restoration of
the church by the Messiah, extending to the latter days.” - Matthew Henry Concise.
Dear
Saints,
Today
we prayerfully continue our Feast by reading the book of Joel Chapter 1; “Judgments
against the Syrians, Philistines, Tyrians, Edomites, and Ammonites.
- GOD employed a shepherd,
a herdsman, to reprove and warn the people. Those to whom God gives abilities
for his services, ought not to be despised for their origin, or their
employment. Judgments are denounced against the neighbouring nations, the
oppressors of God's people. The number of transgressions does not here mean
that exact number, but many: they had filled the measure of their sins, and
were ripe for vengeance. The method in dealing with these nations is, in part,
the same, yet in each there is something peculiar. In all ages this
bitterness has been shown against the Lord's people. When the Lord reckons
with his enemies, how tremendous are his judgments!“ - Matthew Henry Concise
God
gives the words to Amos, a shepherd named Amos to warn the nations, (see Amos 1 ) of
Damascus, Gaza, Ashdod, Tyre, Edom
and Ammon that they were going to be judged
for sin’s against God’s chosen people; “14 So I will kindle a fire in the wall
of Rabbah, and it shall devour her strongholds, with shouting on the day of
battle, with a tempest in the day of the whirlwind; 15 and their king shall
go into exile, he and his princes together," says the LORD.” Amos 1:14-15 English Standard Versions
(ESV). I once heard a pastor say; “God
doesn’t call the qualified He qualifies the called!” This seems to be true in many cases; (see Matthew
4:18-22) look at the first disciples Jesus called. God gives different gifts as he sees fit (see
Hebrews 2:4)
for those who are called according to His purpose. It’s up to us who have heard God’s Word
to seek God’s purpose for our lives;“1
O God, you are my God; earnestly I seek you; my soul thirsts for you; my
flesh faints for you, as in a dry and weary land where there is no water.” Psalm 63:1 ESV. King David was a
man after God’s own heart, not always a godly man (see Psalm
84:2) he turned to God for
help in every circumstance. Listen up Saints always conduct your selves
as godly people (see 1
Timothy 4:8) who seek God first no
matter where we are. We must love and
seek sinners before; (see John 9:31)
they face God’s proclamation of their divine
judgment.
Listen! Can you hear Jesus calling you? Is this is the day of your
salvation (see Revelation
3:20) will you answer Him?

Dear
Saints,
Today
we prayerfully continue our Feast by reading the book of Joel Chapter 3; “God's
judgments in the latter days. (1-8) The
extent of these judgments. (9-17) The
blessings the church shall enjoy. (18-21)“ - Matthew Henry Concise
God
will enter into judgment with all the
nations (see Joel 3:1-8)
I will repay the nations for their
deeds. Gather together all the nations (see
Joel 3:9-17)
for the day of the Lord is near. The bounty
will be great in the Lord’s house; (see
joel 3:18-21)
God’s enemies fill the valley of judgment; “19 "Egypt shall become a
desolation and Edom a desolate wilderness, for the violence done to the
people of Judah, because they have shed innocent blood in their land. 20 But
Judah shall be inhabited forever, and Jerusalem to all generations. 21 I will
avenge their blood, blood I have not avenged, for the LORD dwells in
Zion."” Joel 3:19-21 English Standard Versions
(ESV). Every person who calls to God
in the name of Jesus (see
John
14:6) will receive God’s
mercy; “4 Trust in the LORD forever, for the
LORD GOD is an everlasting rock” Isaiah 26:4 ESV. Our God is an
awesome God (see Isaiah
48:12) Our God never changes. There is no name other name than Jesus (see
Acts
4:12) by which men can call
on to be saved.
Do you want to trust God? If the answer is yes; today is the
day of your salvation! Don’t wait another minute to leave, change or
quit anything (see Revelation
3:20) Jesus is at knocking at your door this minute. He wants you
to come just as you are! Do you
hear Jesus calling you? Will you answer Him today? Do you want to find
true happiness, peace and purpose in your life? If the answer is yes to
any of these questions please click the following link; admenu.com/calling.htm
