Dear Saints,
Today we prayerfully continue our Feast by reading the book of Amos Chapter 4; “Israel is reproved. (1-5) Their impenitence shown. (6-13)
Verses 1-5 What is got by extortion is commonly used to provide for the flesh, and to fulfil the lusts thereof… Let us see to it that our faith, hope, and worship, are warranted by the Divine word.
Verses 6-13 See the folly of carnal hearts; they wander from one creature to another, seeking for something to satisfy, and labour for that which satisfies not; yet, after all, they will not incline their ear to Him in whom they might find all they can want…. If we would prepare to meet our God with comfort, at the awful period of his coming, we must now meet him in Christ Jesus, the eternal Son of the Father, who came to save lost sinners. We must seek him while he is to be found.” - Matthew Henry Concise
Judgment is pronounced against Israel’s elite, (see Amos 4:1-5) and God taunts them.   Because they love the world and fleshly things more than they love the Lord; (see Amos 4:6-13) God will bring mighty and righteous judgment against His own people; “12 "Therefore thus I will do to you, O Israel; because I will do this to you, prepare to meet your God, O Israel!" 13 For behold, he who forms the mountains and creates the wind, and declares to man what is his thought, who makes the morning darkness, and treads on the heights of the earth-- the LORD, the God of hosts, is his name!Amos 4:12-13  English Standard Versions (ESV).  You and I must live in fear of the Lord; (see Proverbs 1:7) and the comfort of His wisdom and instruction; 20 Listen to advice and accept instruction, that you may gain wisdom in the future. 21 Many are the plans in the mind of a man, but it is the purpose of the LORD that will stand. Proverbs 19:20-21 ESV.  Remember if we are living in God’s will; (see 2 Corinthians 9:8) everything that concerns us will work out in our favor.  If we never leave Jesus we will never (see Hebrews 13:5) have to return to God.
Are you ready to truly trust God?  Listen!  Can you hear Jesus calling you? Is this is the day of your salvation (see Revelation 3:20) will you answer Him?  Do you want to find true happiness, peace and purpose in your life?  If the answer is yes to any of these questions please click the following link; admenu.com/calling.htm

Dear Saints,
Today we prayerfully continue our Feast by reading the book of Amos Chapter 3; “Judgments against Israel. (1-8) The like to other nations. (9-15) - Matthew Henry Concise
God pronounces Judgment against His people, (see Amos 3:1-8) because they were not thankful for God’s gifts.   Because of their unrighteousness, (see Amos 3:9-15) God will pass righteous judgment against His own people; “ 15 I will strike the winter house along with the summer house, and the houses of ivory shall perish, and the great houses shall come to an end," declares the LORD.Amos 3:15 English Standard Versions (ESV).  It appears to me that; (see Lamentations 5:21) it is time for all of us to bow in prayer and ask God to restore our land.  God has told us what steps the Christians will have to take (see 2 Chronicles 7:14) to restore our homelands to their formerly proper states!  It’s up to us the Saints that carry God’s Word to a corrupt world to influence our God to take action; 4 You shall walk after the LORD your God and fear him and keep his commandments and obey his voice, and you shall serve him and hold fast to him. Deuteronomy 13:4 ESV.  We can’t wait for law makers, heads of states, or our Pastors to change the land (see Deuteronomy 10:20) it is up to you and I to turn to God and ask for help in every circumstance.  You and I as Christians must follow Jesus (see Matthew 4:10) and rebuke the ungodliness that is overrunning our homes or divine judgment will fall on our countries.

Dear Saints,
Today we prayerfully continue our Feast by reading the book of Amos Chapter 2; “Judgments against Moab and Judah. (1-8) The ingratitude and ruin of Israel. (9-16) - Matthew Henry Concise
Amos warns the nations of Israel and Judah (see Amos 2:1-8 ) that how they deal with others affects how God will judge them.  God recounts how He righteously dealt with the Israelites (see Amos 2:9-16} and how he will deal with them because of their transgressions; “16 and he who is stout of heart among the mighty shall flee away naked in that day," declares the LORD.Amos 2:16 English Standard Version (ESV).  Some people will put their trust in men and technology; (see Psalm 20:7) the faithful will trust in God.  11 I, I am the LORD, and besides me there is no savior. 12 I declared and saved and proclaimed, when there was no strange god among you; and you are my witnesses," declares the LORD, "and I am God. Isaiah 43:11-12 ESV.  The only way we can speak to God the Father (see John 14:6) is through His son Jesus.  Those who accept God faithfully in Jesus (see John 14:15-17) are promised a helper which is the Holy Spirit.  As you witness and pray the Holy Spirit will bring (see John 14:26) God’s Word to your remembrance.  How we treat others (see Matthew 7:12) is how God will deal with us.
Jesus is knocking (see Revelation 3:20) will you answer Him? He wants you to come just as you are!   Do you hear Jesus calling you? Do you want to find true happiness, peace and purpose in your life?  If the answer is yes to any of these questions please click the following link; admenu.com/calling.htm
