Attained by Faith

Return to Admenu – Admenu’s Alternate Site Dear Saints, Today we prayerfully continue our Feast by reading the book of Zechariah Chapter 4; “A vision of a candlestick, with two olive trees. (1-7) Further encouragement. (8-10) An explanation respecting the olive trees. (11-14)” - Matthew Henry Concise The messenger wakes the prophet; (see Zechariah 4:1-7) telling Zerubbabel to have faith, in God’s mercy to bless his good work.  The hands of Zerubbabel laid the foundation of the house (see Zechariah 4:8-10) with the plumb line (of God’s Word) in Zerubbabel’s hand.  Zerubbabel asks about two olive branches; (see Zechariah 4:11-14) that empty out golden oil through the two gold pipes; “14 So he said, "These are the two anointed ones, who stand beside the Lord of the whole earth."” Zechariah 4:14  - NKJV.  God sent Jesus to redeem us; (see Matthew 5:13-16) we carry His light we are the salt of the earth. “7 Then Jesus said to them again, "Most assuredly, I say to you, I am the door of the sheep. 8 All who ever came before Me are thieves and robbers, but the sheep did not hear them. 9 I am the door. If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture. 10 The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.” John 10:7-10  NKJV.  There is only one Son of God; (see John 14:6) Jesus is the only name we can call on for salvation.  You can’t buy, earn or attain salvation in any other way; (see Romans 5:15, Ephesians 2:8-9) it is the merciful gift of God, given to us for our faith Jesus. Do you hear Jesus calling to you?  Are you ready to trust God?  If the answer is yes; today is the day of your salvation!  Don’t wait another minute to leave, change or quit anything (see Revelation 3:20) Jesus is at knocking at your door this minute.  He wants you to come just as you are!  Will you answer Him today? Return to Admenu – Admenu’s Alternate Site Dear Saints, Today we prayerfully continue our Feast by reading the book of Zechariah Chapter 3; “The restoration of the church. (1-5) A promise concerning the Messiah. (6-10)” - Matthew Henry Concise Guilt is a great discouragement when we stand before God;  (see Zechariah 3:1-5) so God removes the guilt by putting  on priestly robes.  The Lord of heavenly forces proclaimed: (see Zechariah 3:6-10) that God will remove the guilt of the land in one day; “10 In that day,' says the Lord of hosts, 'Everyone will invite his neighbor Under his vine and under his fig tree.' "” Zechariah 3:10  - NKJV.  Hallelujah!  Jesus has removed your guilt; (see Matthew 9:13) invite your neighbors to feast in God’s Word with you. “12 Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, "I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life."” John 6:35  NKJV.  Share God’s Word and your faith in Jesus; (see Romans 10:17) with every person who will listen.  Let’s walk in His way; (see 2 Corinthians 5:20) because we are the ambassadors for Jesus. Do you really want true justice? Is Jesus knocking at your door?  Are you ready to answer God’s call?  If the answer is yes; today is the day of your salvation!  Don’t wait another minute to leave, change or quit anything (see Revelation 3:20) Jesus is at knocking at your door this minute.  He wants you to come just as you are, surrendering all!  Will you answer Him today? Return to Admenu – Admenu’s Alternate Site Dear Saints, Today we prayerfully continue our Feast by reading the book of Zechariah Chapter 2; The prosperity of Jerusalem. (1-5) The Jews called to return to their own land. (6-9) A promise of God's presence. (10-13)” - Matthew Henry Concise There is true bliss; (see Zechariah 2:1-5 )  for all who enter in to the Joy of the Lord.  Separate yourself from those who hate the Lord: (see Zechariah 2:6-9) and you will know that the Lord of heavenly forces sent me.   Many nations will be joined to the Lord on that day (see Zechariah 2:10-13) he will again possess Judah and Jerusalem; “13 Be silent, all flesh, before the Lord, for He is aroused from His holy habitation!" ” Zechariah 2:13  - NKJV.  Shout for joy, the gift of God for every person; (see 2 Peter 3:9) that calls to be saved in the name of Jesus will be saved; “35 And Jesus said to them, "I am the bread of life. He who comes to Me shall never hunger, and he who believes in Me shall never thirst.” John 6:35  NKJV.  Jesus came and paid for the sins; (see John 3:16) of every person who will call on God in Jesus’ precious name.  Salvation cannot be bought or earned; (see Ephesians 2:7-9) it is the free gift from God.
