What’s Approaching?

Return to Admenu – Admenu’s Alternate Site Dear Saints, Today we prayerfully continue our Feast by reading the book of Genesis Chapter 18; The Lord appears to Abraham. (1-8) Sarah's unbelief reproved. (9-15) God reveals to Abraham the destruction of Sodom. (16-22) Abraham's intercession for Sodom. (23-33)” - Matthew Henry Concise As we read the Feast we see that God chooses to tell Abraham of his plan for Sodom. This inspires the first episode of “Let’s Make a Deal”; “ 27 Then Abraham answered and said, “Indeed now, I who am but dust and ashes have taken it upon myself to speak to the Lord: 28 Suppose there were five less than the fifty righteous; would You destroy all of the city for lack of five?” So He said, “If I find there forty-five, I will not destroy it.” 29 And he spoke to Him yet again and said, “Suppose there should be forty found there?” So He said, “I will not do it for the sake of forty.” 30 Then he said, “Let not the Lord be angry, and I will speak: Suppose thirty should be found there?” So He said, “I will not do it if I find thirty there.” 31 And he said, “Indeed now, I have taken it upon myself to speak to the Lord: Suppose twenty should be found there?” So He said, “I will not destroy it for the sake of twenty.” 32 Then he said, “Let not the Lord be angry, and I will speak but once more: Suppose ten should be found there?” And He said, “I will not destroy it for the sake of ten.” 33 So the Lord went His way as soon as He had finished speaking with Abraham; and Abraham returned to his place.”  Genesis 18:27-33 New King James Version (NKJV). You know this screams of Salvation “Issues Number One”. That’s salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ! When we accept Jesus as our Savior his righteousness is what God sees when he looks at us. Because we are covered by the Blood of the Lamb, and sealed by the Holy Spirit. The whole Trinity of God makes our salvation promise a Bond with the Creator. Get ready the Day can be upon you before you can blink an eye.  “10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements will melt with fervent heat; both the earth and the works that are in it will be burned up. 11 Therefore, since all these things will be dissolved, what manner of persons ought you to be in holy conduct and godliness, ” 2 Peter 3:10-11 NKJV Are you ready to accept Jesus into your heart? If you answered yes you need fellowship and so do we. Our salvation depends completely on God! We are the Saints that Jesus sacrificed his life to pay in full for our sin, when we repent (turn from sin) and accept Jesus. We worship and fellowship in a Church (group of believers) that strive to measures up to God’s Word. In Everything We Do!

Return to Admenu – Admenu’s Alternate Site Dear Saints, Today we prayerfully continue our Feast by reading the book of Genesis Chapter 17; “God renews the covenant with Abram. (1-6) Circumcision instituted. (7-14) Sarai's name changed, Isaac promised. (15-22) Abraham and his family are circumcised. (23-27) ” - Matthew Henry Concise As we read the Feast we see that the promise made to Abraham of a son by Sarai, will be fulfilled. God changes Sarai's name into Sarah; “15 Then God said to Abraham, "As for Sarai your wife, you shall not call her name Sarai, but Sarah shall be her name. 16 And I will bless her and also give you a son by her; then I will bless her, and she shall be a mother of nations; kings of peoples shall be from her." ” Genesis 17:15-16  New King James Version (NKJV). When God blesses us we should thank Him.  When we do any good work we must recognize that it comes from God and give Him the glory; “23 Whoever offers praise glorifies Me; And to him who orders his conduct aright I will show the salvation of God.”” Psalm 50:23 NKJV In everything we do let’s be imitators of Jesus; “15 but as He who called you is holy, you also be holy in all your conduct, 16 because it is written, “Be holy, for I am holy.”” 1 Peter 1:15-16 NKJV keeping that first thing (salvation) first! Is Jesus calling to you today?  Are you ready to answer God’s call?  If the answer is yes; today is the day of your salvation!  Don’t wait another minute to leave, change or quit anything (see Revelation 3:20) Jesus is at knocking at your door this minute.  He wants you to come just as you are, surrendering all!  Will you answer Him today? Are You Helping God?

Today’s Feast Jan 9, 2015- Genesis 16 God’s Promise! clic aquí en español   Please join with us sharing God’s Word daily.  We will spend about fifteen minutes a day praying and reading every word in God’s Word in approximately three years1.  “Oh, give thanks to the Lord! Call upon His name; Make known His deeds among the peoples!”  1 Chronicles 16:8”  - New King James Version (NKJV). Return to Admenu – Admenu’s Alternate Site Dear Saints, Today we prayerfully continue our Feast by reading the book of Genesis Chapter 16; “Sarai gives Hagar to Abram. (1-3) Hagar's misbehaviour to Sarai. (4-6) The Angel commands Hagar to return, The promise to her Birth of Ishmael. (7-16)” - Matthew Henry Concise As we read the Feast we see that Abram and Sarai, decide to help God out. What is the results of this “HELP.”; Sarai took Hagar the Egyptian, her servant, and gave her to Abram, he got her pregnant and now Sarai runs Hagar off because she is having Abrams child which is going to be a pain to in the side to everyone; “11 And the Angel of the Lord said to her: “Behold, you are with child, And you shall bear a son. You shall call his name Ishmael, Because the Lord has heard your affliction. 12 He shall be a wild man; His hand shall be against every man, And every man’s hand against him. And he shall dwell in the presence of all his brethren.” Genesis 16:11-12  New King James Version (NKJV). You know people are always trying to help God. Fisherman; “Hey man you need to accept Jesus as your savior!” Fish; “I know it man but I gotta cleanup a few things (helping God) before I do.” I learned something along time ago from a pastor, he said; ”Jesus cleans the fish after he catches them.” That’s it The first thing first salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ! Then he’ll clean up those things. Don’t help God out wait on the Lord! So if you don’t know Jesus don’t be the fish. Follow him and he will make you a fisher of men.   “[ Lay Up Treasures in Heaven ] “Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal; but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.” Matthew 6:19-21 NKJV Will you accept Jesus into your heart? If you answered yes you need fellowship and so do we.
