Did You Invite Them?

Today’s Feast

Jan 26, 2015 – Genesis 33
Did You Invite Them?

Please join with us sharing God’s Word daily. We will spend about fifteen minutes a day praying and reading every word in God’s Word in approximately three years.

28 And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand. 29 My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of My Father’s hand. 30 I and My Father are one.”" John 10:28-30 New King James Version (NKJV).

Dear Saints,
Today we prayerfully continue our Feast by reading the book of Genesis Chapter 33; “The friendly meeting of Jacob and Esau. (1-16) Jacob comes to Succoth and Shalem, He builds an altar. (17-20) - Matthew Henry Concise

Feasting in Genesis Chapter 33; In this Scripture we see Israel (Jacob) headed back to be with his family, particularly his brother Esau. He was not Sure how his brother would accept him; ”1 Now Jacob lifted his eyes and looked, and there, Esau was coming, and with him were four hundred men. So he divided the children among Leah, Rachel, and the two maidservants. 2 And he put the maidservants and their children in front, Leah and her children behind, and Rachel and Joseph last. 3 Then he crossed over before them and bowed himself to the ground seven times, until he came near to his brother.Genesis 33:1-3 NKJV. This brings me back to Issue Number One, Salvation through the blood of the Lamb. Sometimes we have trouble approaching people about salvation. We know they will have an eternal time cut off from God and the Church without salvation. Start off easy just invite your friends or acquaintances to church this week. You might be very surprised at their reaction.4 But Esau ran to meet him, and embraced him, and fell on his neck and kissed him, and they wept.Genesis 33:4 NKJV. They see something in your life but they are waiting for you to share it with them.

10 Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He will lift you up.James 4:10 NKJV

What's In A Name?

Today’s Feast

Jan 25, 2015 - Genesis 32
What's In A Name?
Please join with us sharing God’s Word daily. We will spend about fifteen minutes a day praying and reading every word in God’s Word in approximately three years.
3 Then let us arise and go up to Bethel; and I will make an altar there to God, who answered me in the day of my distress and has been with me in the way which I have gone."" Genesis 35:3 New King James Version (NKJV).

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our Feast by reading the book of Genesis Chapter 32; “Jacob's vision at Mahanaim, His fear of Esau. (1-8) Jacob's earnest prayer for deliverance, He prepares a present for Esau. (9-23) He wrestles with the Angel. (24-32) - Matthew Henry Concise

As we continue our Feast in Genesis 32, we see Jacob headed back to be with his family. He was not faint of heart, we see how he dealt with Laban and now God; “28 And He said, "Your name shall no longer be called Jacob, but Israel; for you have struggled with God and with men, and have prevailed."Genesis 32:28 NKJV. God blessed Jacob and changed his name to Israel. What’s in a name? Israel means He strives with God, or God strives. This brings me back to Issue Number One, Salvation through the blood of the Lamb. Until we repent and accept Jesus as our savior, we are striving with God. When we turn from sin and accept Jesus our name is recorded in the book of life. “5 He who overcomes shall be clothed in white garments, and I will not blot out his name from the Book of Life; but I will confess his name before My Father and before His angels.Revelation 3:5 NKJV

Do you want Jesus to be your friend? Just say this simple prayer; “Dear God, I am a sinner and need forgiveness. I believe that Jesus Christ shed His precious blood and died for my sin. I am willing to turn from sin. I now invite Christ to come into my heart and life as my personal Saviour. If you said this prayer inviting Jesus into your heart. Now turning from sin, and seek fellowship just as we do. We worship and fellowship in a Church (group of believers) that strive to measures up to God’s Word. You need a Bible believing body of believers (church) to worship and pray with. Our salvation depends completely on God! We are the Saints that Jesus sacrificed his life to pay in full for our sin, when we repent (turn from sin) and accept Jesus. If you have trouble finding a good bible believing church in your neighborhood send me an email and I’ll see if I can help; mike@admenu.com or if you want more information (Click Here)

What Does That Mean?

Today’s Feast
Jan 24, 2015 - Genesis 31
What Does That Mean?
Please join with us sharing God’s Word daily. We will spend about fifteen minutes a day praying and reading every word in God’s Word in approximately three years.
26 Brethren, if a man is overtaken in any trespass, you who are spiritual restore such a one in a spirit of gentleness, considering yourself lest you also be tempted." Galatians 6:1 New King James Version (NKJV).

Dear Saints,
Today we prayerfully continue our Feast by reading the book of Genesis Chapter 31; “Jacob departs secretly. (1-21) Laban pursues Jacob. (23-35) Jacob's complaint of Laban's conduct.(36-42) Their covenant at Galeed. (43-55) - Matthew Henry Concise

As we continue our Feast in Genesis Chapter 31
in this Scripture we see Laban and Jacob part ways, and the rocks are marked (Mizpah) such as a watch tower; “46 Then Jacob said to his brethren, "Gather stones." And they took stones and made a heap, and they ate there on the heap. 47 Laban called it Jegar Sahadutha, but Jacob called it Galeed. 48 And Laban said, "This heap is a witness between you and me this day." Therefore its name was called Galeed, 49 also Mizpah, because he said, "May the Lord watch between you and me when we are absent one from another.” Genesis 31:46-49 NKJV. Now that is such a nice thing for Laban to say;The LORD watch between you and me, when we are out of one another’s sight.” Well it certainly sounds nice in fact I’ve heard that Saints quote it in parting company “Mizpah”. How ever Leban was saying to Jacob, I know your a thief God will watch over any business between us when we can’t see each other “MIZPAH”. The next couple of verses plainly bare witness to that; “50 If you afflict my daughters, or if you take other wives besides my daughters, although no man is with us--see, God is witness between you and me!" 51 Then Laban said to Jacob, "Here is this heap and here is this pillar, which I have placed between you and me. 52 This heap is a witness, and this pillar is a witness, that I will not pass beyond this heap to you, and you will not pass beyond this heap and this pillar to me, for harm.Genesis 31:50-52 NKJV. This is why I always ask that the Holy Spirit to give me understanding as I read God’s Holy Word. Laban was not asking God to take care of Jacob, he was asking God to keep a careful watch on him.Jeremiah writes that the heart is wicked and tremendously deceitful. The Bible is clear that our innate human desires are thoroughly tainted by sin, and in need of salvation.” Heart wickeda Christianperspective. This brings me back to Issue Number One, Salvation through the blood of the Lamb.
Even the season of our Lord Jesus' birth speaks of salvation for man “and assembling all the chief priests and scribes of the people, he inquired of them where the Christ was to be born. They told him, “In Bethlehem of Judea, for so it is written by the prophet: “‘And you, O Bethlehem, in the land of Judah, are by no means least among the rulers of Judah;for from you shall come a ruler who will shepherd my people Israel.Matthew 2:4-6 NKJV
