(1-13) The parable of the talents. (14-30) The judgment. (31-46) “ - Matthew Henry Concise. In this Scripture is we see Jesus talking about the the saints who have a personal relationship with him. Even if all you do is share the Feast with others, your sharing God’s word. God’s Word is the Feast; “34 Then the King will say to those on His right hand, ‘Come, you blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: 35 for I was hungry and you gave Me food; I was thirsty and you gave Me drink; I was a stranger and you took Me in; 36 I was naked and you clothed Me; I was sick and you visited Me; I was in prison and you came to Me.’“ Matthew 25:34-36 NKJV. If we just read about God but don’t know him (James 2:19) we are spinning our wheels. Therefor keep the first thing first. That’s salvation the gift of God, faith from the Word of God. “10 Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He will lift you up.” James 4:10 NKJV. (1-3) The troubles before the destruction of Jerusalem. (4-28) Christ foretells other signs and miseries, to the end of the world. (29-41) Exhortations to watchfulness. (42-51)“ - Matthew Henry Concise. In this Scripture is we see Jesus teaching about the coming kingdom. This is the reason you and I have the Feast; “44 Therefore you also be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect. 45 "Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his master made ruler over his household, to give them food in due season?“ Matthew 24:44-45 NKJV. If we just read about God but don’t know him we couldn’t live in the new kingdom. By the same token keeping the first thing first.
