Today’s Feast April 9, 2015 – Exodus 28 Have You Made The Choice? “4 And no man takes this honor to himself, but he who is called by God, just as Aaron was.“ Hebrews 5:4, New King James Version (NKJV). Return to Admenu – Admenu’s Alternate Site Dear Saints, Thank you for joining us, as we prayerfully continue our Feast in Exodus Chapter 28; “Aaron and his sons set apart for the priest's office, Their garments. (1-5) The ephod. (6-14) The breastplate, The Urim and Thummim. (15-30) The robe of the ephod, The plate of the mitre. (31-39) The garments for Aaron's sons. (40-43)“ - Matthew Henry Concise. There is perfect order in God’s instructions to the chosen people. There are no ambiguities or orders left to confuse the garments for the priests; “33 And upon its hem you shall make pomegranates of blue, purple, and scarlet, all around its hem, and bells of gold between them all around: 34 a golden bell and a pomegranate, a golden bell and a pomegranate, upon the hem of the robe all around.” Exodus 28:33-34 NKJV. God is very clear about what He expects of those who will faithfully serve Him. “37 Jesus said to him, "'You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.'” Matthew 22:37 NKJV. God does not force himself on anyone. You must choose (Matthew 6:24) whom you will serve. If the Lord is willing I’ll send and post the Feast again tomorrow. Don’t get caught up in “religion”, it is about a relationship. Our salvation depends completely on God! We are the Saints that Jesus sacrificed his life to pay in full for our sin, when we repent and accept Jesus. He will come to get every Saint; “…But concerning that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father only.” Matthew 24:36 NKJV. Return to Admenu – Admenu’s Alternate Site Dear Saints, Thank you for joining us, as we prayerfully continue our Feast in Exodus Chapter 27; “The altar of burnt offerings. (1-8) The court of the tabernacle.(9-19) The oil for the lamps. (20,21)“ - Matthew Henry Concise. Today’s Feast is God’s conveying to Moses, thepreparations that his people must make in preparing the tabernacle; “20 "And you shall command the children of Israel that they bring you pure oil of pressed olives for the light, to cause the lamp to burn continually. 21 In the tabernacle of meeting, outside the veil which is before the Testimony, Aaron and his sons shall tend it from evening until morning before the Lord. It shall be a statute forever to their generations on behalf of the children of Israel.” Exodus 27:20-21 NKJV. "The pure oil signifies the gifts and graces of the Spirit, that all believers receive from Christ, the good Olive, and without which our light cannot shine before men." - Matthew Henry Concise. “14 You are the light of the world.
