For Them And Us!

Today’s Feast

April 15, 2015 – Exodus 34

For Them And Us!

7 Render therefore to all their due: taxes to whom taxes are due, customs to whom customs, fear to whom fear, honor to whom honor.Romans 13:7, New King James Version (NKJV).

Dear Saints,

Thank you for joining us, as we prayerfully continue our Feast in Exodus Chapter 34;The tables of the law renewed. (1-4) The name of the Lord proclaimed, The entreaty of Moses. (5-9) God's covenant. (10-17) The festivals. (18-27) The vail of Moses. (28-35)“ - Matthew Henry Concise.
In the Feast today we see God in all his mercy renews His covenant with his people; “10 And He said: "Behold, I make a covenant. Before all your people I will do marvels such as have not been done in all the earth, nor in any nation; and all the people among whom you are shall see the work of the Lord. For it is an awesome thing that I will do with you.Exodus 34:10, NKJV. God doesn’t wait to see if the people are really ready to change their ways before making a renewed covenant! God works on His schedule in his time. He said; ”It is an awesome thing that I will do with you.” Then our awesome God gives us instructions on how to live in the land he gives us; “13 But you shall destroy their altars, break their sacred pillars, and cut down their wooden imagesExodus 34:13 NKJV. What an awesome God, he didn’t leave you and I out of his plan or kingdom. Once again he renews his covenant. He doesn’t wait for us to “Get Right” first; ”8 But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.Romans 5:8 NKJV. This is a direct result of God renewing his covenant with us; “16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.John 3:16 NKJV. So as for you and I let’s keep the first thing first, salvation through our Lord and Savior Jesus. If the Lord is willing I’ll send and post the Feast again tomorrow.

Are We There Yet?

Today’s Feast

April 14, 2015 – Exodus 33

Are We There Yet?

45 "Get away from among this congregation, that I may consume them in a moment." And they fell on their faces.Numbers 16:45, New King James Version (NKJV).

Dear Saints,

Thank you for joining us, as we prayerfully continue our Feast in Exodus Chapter 33;The Lord refuses to go with Israel. (1-6) The tabernacle of Moses removed without the camp. (7-11) Moses desires to see the glory of God. (12-23)“ - Matthew Henry Concise.
In the Feast we see God fed up with His people's sin. God tells Moses that He will not go forward with this sinful nation; “3 Go up to a land flowing with milk and honey; for I will not go up in your midst, lest I consume you on the way, for you are a stiff-necked people."Exodus 33:3 NKJV. Our God will not continually strive with sinful unrepentant people; “24 Therefore God also gave them up to uncleanness, in the lusts of their hearts, to dishonor their bodies among themselves, 25 who exchanged the truth of God for the lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen.Romans 1:24 NKJV. We cannot continue to tolorate or turn a blind eye to sin and those who live in it. "32 who, knowing the righteous judgment of God, that those who practice such things are deserving of death, not only do the same but also approve of those who practice them." Romans 1:32 NKJV. Let's pray we haven't got there yet! If the Lord is willing I’ll send and post the Feast again tomorrow.
