Love? Really?

Today’s Feast

May 30, 2015 – Mark 12

Love? Really?

Please join with us sharing God’s Word daily. We will spend about fifteen minutes a day praying and reading every word in God’s Word in approximately three years.

4 In God (I will praise His word), In God I have put my trust; I will not fear. What can flesh do to me? Psalm 56:4 New King James Version (NKJV).

Dear Saints,

Thank you for joining us, as we prayerfully continue the Feast in Mark Chapter 12; “The parable of the vineyard and husbandmen. (1-12) Question about tribute. (13-17) Concerning the resurrection. (18-27) The great command of the law. (28-34) Christ the Son and yet the Lord of David. (35-40) The poor widow commended. (41-44)- Matthew Henry Concise.

Today we serve the living God with you. Here in Mark a scribe asked Jesus what the most important commandment is; “28 Then one of the scribes came, and having heard them reasoning together, perceiving that He had answered them well, asked Him, "Which is the first commandment of all?" 29 Jesus answered him, "The first of all the commandments is: 'Hear, O Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is one. 30 And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength.' This is the first commandment. 31 And the second, like it, is this: 'You shall love your neighbor as yourself.' There is no other commandment greater than these."Mark 12:28–31, NKJV. Our loving God is faithful and we could not love Him this much without a personal relationship. Notice the second; “31 And the second, like it, is this: 'You shall love your neighbor as yourself.' There is no other commandment greater than these."Mark 12:31 NKJV. You see we want a personal faith based relationship with Jesus. So if we love our neighbor as much as ourselves we will want them to have the same thing. Salvation and a personal relationship with our Lord and Savior Jesus. This is keeping the first thing first “Salvation by the blood of the Lamb, God’s gift of love for us.”16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” – John 3:16 NKJV. Just knowing who Jesus is isn’t enough, we need a faith based relationship with Him. “6 But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.” – Hebrews 11:6, NKJV. If you and I want to serve God in Saintly Service, love and faith, also not willing that any shall perish. Then we will want to share God’s love with those around us. “13 No one has greater love than this, that someone would lay down his life for his friends. 14 You are My friends if you do what I command you.” – John 15:13-14 NKJV. Lets continue to faithfully to Saintly Serve our Lord keeping His commandments. Keeping the first thing first which is salvation a gift from the Father paid for in the blood of Jesus, in which we are sealed by the Holy Spirit. “18 For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.1 Corinthians 1:18 NKJV. If the Lord is willing I’ll send and post the Feast tomorrow.

Is Jesus knocking at your door? Are you ready to answer God’s call? Don’t get caught up in “religion”, it is about a relationship. Our salvation depends completely on God! We are the Saints that Jesus sacrificed his life to pay in full for our sin, when we repent and accept Jesus. He will come to get every Saint; “36 "But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, but My Father only.Matthew 24:36 NKJV. We are building our relationship with Jesus right now, do not wait while you try to change anything. Justified by Religion or Relationship?

Please join with us sharing God’s Word daily. We will spend about fifteen minutes a day praying and reading every word in God’s Word in approximately three years.

4 Jesus replied, “It’s written, People won’t live only by bread, but by every word spoken by God.” Matthew 4-4 New King James Version (NKJV).

Dear Saints,

Thank you for joining us, as we prayerfully continue the Feast in Mark Chapter 11; Christ's triumphant entry into Jerusalem. (1-11) The barren fig-tree cursed, The temple cleansed. (12-18) Prayer in faith. (19-26) The priests and elders questioned concerning John the Baptist. (27-33)” - Matthew Henry Concise.

Today we prayerfully continue our Feast in Mark Chapter 11, God has blessed us Saints, he overcame death and now we have the pleasure to serve the living God. Here in Mark Jesus says we need faith to serve him; “22 So Jesus answered and said to them, "Have faith in God. 23 For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, 'Be removed and be cast into the sea,' and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says. 24 Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.Mark 11:22-24, NKJV. Our loving God is faithful in his relationship with us; “9 Therefore know that the Lord your God, He is God, the faithful God who keeps covenant and mercy for a thousand generations with those who love Him and keep His commandments;Deuteronomy 7:9, NKJV. You see knowing who Jesus is and trying to live for him is not enough. It really takes a personal faith based relationship with Jesus. So what is faith? “1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.Hebrews 11:1, NKJV. Even Abraham’s works were done in faith; “22 Do you see that faith was working together with his works, and by works faith was made perfect? 23 And the Scripture was fulfilled which says, "Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness." And he was called the friend of God.” – James 2:22–23 NKJV. In establishing our relationship with Jesus we become God’s friend just as father Abraham did. “22 Do you see that faith was working together with his works, and by works faith was made perfect? 23 And the Scripture was fulfilled which says, "Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness." And he was called the friend of God.” – John 15:13-15 NKJV. Lets continue to faithfully, Saintly Serve our Lord! Keeping the first thing first which is salvation a gift from the Father paid for in the blood of Jesus, in which we are sealed by the Holy Spirit. “16 knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law but by faith in Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Christ Jesus, that we might be justified by faith in Christ and not by the works of the law; for by the works of the law no flesh shall be justified.Galatians 2:16 NKJV. “Justified”; Just as if I never sinned. If the Lord is willing I’ll send and post the Feast tomorrow.
