Today’s Feast

Sep. 25, 2015 – Joshua 21
Freedom From Sin
“1 My dear children, I write this to you
so that you will not sin. But if anybody does sin, we have an
advocate with the Father—Jesus Christ, the Righteous One.” 1
John 2:1 , English Standard Version (ESV)
Please join with us sharing God’s Word daily. We will
spend about fifteen minutes a day praying and reading every word in God’s
Word in approximately three years.
Dear Saints,
Thank
you for joining us, as we prayerfully continue the Feast in
Joshua, Chapter 21 ; “Cities for the
Levites. (1-8) The cities allotted to the Levites. (9-42) God gave the land and rest to the Israelites,
according to his promise. (43-45) – Matthew
Henry Concise.
Every square inch of land God
promised to Israel delivered by God. “43
Thus the Lord gave to Israel all the land that he swore to give to their
fathers. And they took possession of it, and they settled there. 44 And the
Lord gave them rest on every side just as he had sworn to their fathers. Not
one of all their enemies had withstood them, for the Lord had given all their
enemies into their hands. 45 Not one word of all the good promises that the
Lord had made to the house of Israel had failed; all came to pass.” Joshua 21:43-45, ESV. Our God is the same today, yesterday and forever. God
doesn’t change, He is dependable in all of his ways. “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.” Hebrews
13:7-9, ESV. I know that this particular scripture is speaking of Jesus.
If you know Jesus you know that he and the Father and the Holy Ghost are one.
That is why I stand firm on what I said before; “’Know therefore that the LORD your God is God; he is the faithful
God, keeping his covenant of love to a thousand generations of those who love
him and keep his commandments.’“ Deuteronomy
7:9,
ESV. It is truly God who gave
you freedom from sin when you accepted His gift, Jesus. Trust Him, Jesus paid
for all of your sin. When you slip return to him for forgiveness. “For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good
works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.” Ephesians
2:10, ESV. We can continue to keep the first thing first. That
is salvation through the blood of Jesus.
I
send the Feast out as the Holy Spirit inspires me. If the Lord Is willing
I’ll send and post the Feast again tomorrow.

What Is More Valuable?
Today's Feast
What
Is More Valuable?
“7
Therefore welcome one another as Christ has welcomed you, for the
glory of God.”
Romans
15:7
English
Standard Version (ESV)
Please
join with us sharing God’s Word daily. W e will spend about

Word in approximately three years.
Dear Saints,
Thank
you for joining us, as we prayerfully continue
the Feast in Joshua, Chapter
18;
“The
tabernacle set up at Shiloh. (1) The remainder of the land
described and divided.(2-10)
The boundaries of Benjamin. (11-28)”
-
Matthew
Henry Concise.
Today
we see the Israelites
in the last seven tribes their land lay subdued before them. But
they are procrastinating.
“2
There remained among the people of Israel seven tribes whose
inheritance had not yet been apportioned. 3 So Joshua said to the
people of Israel, “How long will you put off going in to take
possession of the land, which the Lord, the God of your fathers,
has given you? ”
Joshua
17:17-18,
ESV. You
would think that if God laid a gift as valuable as land before men
that they couldn't wait to reach out and receive it.
Our
God is good and offers a gift better than land; “16
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that
whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.”
John
3:16,
ESV. It
is up to every person;
to reach out and take the gift of salvation. Yet
men still wait and procrastinate, it's in their sinful nature.
God
is knocking on their door now;
“Behold,
I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens
the door, I will come in to him and eat with him, and he with me.”
Revelation
3:20,
ESV. Maybe they love something they consider more valuable than
salvation. I
would ask them; what do you think is more valuable than God's gift
of abundant and eternal life to every person;
“25
For what does it profit a man if he gains the whole world and
loses or forfeits himself?”
Luke
9:25,
ESV. It is truly God’s will that you reach out and take this
gift.
As
for ours let's
keep the first thing first. That is salvation through the blood of
Jesus.
I
send the Feast out as the Holy Spirit inspires me. If the Lord Is
willing I’ll send and post the Feast again tomorrow.
