Prepared To Stand?

Return to Admenu – Admenu’s Alternate Site Dear Saints, Thank you for joining us, as we prayerfully continue the Feast in Judges Chapter 4; “”Israel again revolts, and is oppressed by Jabin. (1-3) Deborah concerts their deliverance with Barak. (4-9) Sisera defeated. (10-16) Sisera put to death by Jael. (17-24)” ” - Matthew Henry Concise. As we prayerfully Feast in Judges 4, another Judge Deborah is telling a repentant Israelite to take stand. “14 And Deborah said to Barak, “Up! For this is the day in which the Lord has given Sisera into your hand. Does not the Lord go out before you?” So Barak went down from Mount Tabor with 10,000 men following him. 15 And the Lord routed Sisera and all his chariots and all his army before Barak by the edge of the sword. And Sisera got down from his chariot and fled away on foot.” Judges 4:14-15, ESV. If you’ve ever sinned and asked the Lord for forgiveness He will forgive you (2 Peter 3:9) and stand for you. God expects that you will prepare to stand for Him. God expects that all of us will be ready to follow Him, when the battle (Ephesians 6:10) falls to us. God wants you to turn your back from sin and live to have a fruitful life with a special relationship with Him. “11 Take no part in the unfruitful works of darkness, but instead expose them. 12 For it is shameful even to speak of the things that they do in secret. 13 But when anything is exposed by the light, it becomes visible, 14 for anything that becomes visible is light. Therefore it says,“Awake, O sleeper, and arise from the dead, and Christ will shine on you.”15 Look carefully then how you walk, not as unwise but as wise, 16 making the best use of the time, because the days are evil.” Ephesians 5:11-16, ESV. We need to be prepared if we expect to stand in the day our Lord calls on us. We need to know exactly what it is we are preparing for. Is it clear where our battle lies? When we understand where and whom the battle comes from then we can prepare to stand. “11 Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil. 12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. 13 Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand firm.“ Ephesians 6:11-13, ESV. Don’t wait and sleep until the battle is in your yard saint! Prepare now to stand with the Saints that will be marching in. Continue to let your lite shine brightly and keep your eyes on Jesus. Continue to keep the first thing first. That is Salvation in the name of our Lord, Jesus Christ. You are an eternal being, where you spend eternity depends on your relationship with God! Ask God!

Today’s Feast Oct. 1, 2015 – Judges 3 Ask God! “11 “Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me. ” Matthew 5:11 , English Standard Version (ESV) clic aquí en español Please join with us sharing God’s Word daily. Return to Admenu – Admenu’s Alternate Site Dear Saints, Thank you for joining us, as we prayerfully continue the Feast in Judges, Chapter 3 ; “The nations left to prove Israel. (1-7) Othniel delivers Israel. (8-11) Ehud delivers Israel from Eglon. (12-30) Shamgar delivers and judges Israel. (31)” – Matthew Henry Concise. We see a theme in the first three books of Judges. The Israelites turn their back on God! Life get’s bad then they turn back to God. God forgives them and sends them a champion known as a Judge. “15 Then the people of Israel cried out to the Lord, and the Lord raised up for them a deliverer, Ehud, the son of Gera, the Benjaminite, a left-handed man. The people of Israel sent tribute by him to Eglon the king of Moab. ” Judges 3:15, ESV. I think I’ve mentioned this before God never changes! So we should; “5 Keep your life free from love of money, and be content with what you have, for he has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.” Hebrews 3:15, ESV. So have you thought about what that means to us? We were dead in sin, we reached out and received God’s Son and were saved from sin. So what does that mean when we slip back into sin? Ask God! “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.“ 1 John 1:9, ESV. Don’t let that old accuser hold you down in sin. The sooner you repent and confess your sin to Jesus, the sooner you’ll be back in the fold serving God. That is what it is all about, being full of love and light. ““Let the one who boasts, boast in the Lord.” For it is not the one who commends himself who is approved, but the one whom the Lord commends.” 2 Corinthians 10:17-18, ESV. keep the first thing first. That is salvation through the blood of Jesus. I send the Feast out as the Holy Spirit inspires me. If the Lord Is willing I’ll send and post the Feast again tomorrow. . Would you like a more abundant life”? Do you know that God has a plan that includes a personal relationship with you? You are an eternal being, where you spend eternity depends on your relationship with God? If you want to be sure, turn from sin and just say this simple prayer; “ Dear God, I am a sinner and need forgiveness. I believe that Jesus Christ shed Hisprecious blood and died for my sin. I am willing to turn from sin. I now invite Christ to come into my heart and life as my personal Savior.“ If you said this prayer inviting Jesus into your heart. Now turning from sin, and seek fellowship just as we do. We worship and fellowship in a Church (group of believers) that strives to measures up to God’s Word. You need a Bible believing body of believers (church) to worship and pray with. Our salvation depends completely on God! We are the Saints that Jesus sacrificed his life to pay in full for our sin, when we repent (turn from sin) and accept Jesus. The Reason God Sent Jesus!

Today’s Feast Sep. 30, 2015 – Judges 2 The Reason God Sent Jesus! “9 And this is my prayer: that your love may abound more and more in knowledge and depth of insight, 10 so that you may be able to discern what is best and may be pure and blameless for the day of Christ,” Philippians 1:9-10 , English Standard Version (ESV) clic aquí en español Please join with us sharing God’s Word daily. We will spend about fifteen minutes a day praying and reading every word in God’s Word in approximately three years. Return to Admenu – Admenu’s Alternate Site Dear Saints, Thank you for joining us, as we prayerfully continue the Feast in Judges, Chapter 2 ; “The angel of the Lord rebukes the people. (1-5) The wickedness of the new generation after Joshua. (6-23)” – Matthew Henry Concise. These were God’s chosen people He brought them out of slavery and gave them a land filled with milk and honey. We may think they would be eternally grateful.  But They loved the world more than they loved God; “11 And the people of Israel did what was evil in the sight of the Lord and served the Baals. 12 And they abandoned the Lord, the God of their fathers, who had brought them out of the land of Egypt. They went after other gods, from among the gods of the peoples who were around them, and bowed down to them. And they provoked the Lord to anger.” Judges 2:11-12, ESV.  After the elders who loved the Lord died and new generations came to power and they turned their backs on God.  We see the same thing happening in our world today.  But it’s not too late according to God’s Word:  “14 if my people who are called by my name humble themselves, and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land.” 2 Chronicles 7:14, ESV. That’s it Saint, instead of complaining, instead of depending on political parties, we need to go to God and ask Him to heal our land. God isn’t waiting for us to mess up, God said that He wanted to save us;  “9 The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance. “ 2 Peter 3:9, ESV. That’s the reason God sent Jesus to redeem us! Let us continue to keep the first thing first. That is salvation through the blood of Jesus. I send the Feast out as the Holy Spirit inspires me.
