Return to Admenu – Admenu’s Alternate Site Dear Saints, Thank you for joining us, as we prayerfully continue the Feast in 2nd Samuel Chapter 8; “David subdues the Philistines, the Moabites, and the Syrians. (1-8) The spoil dedicated. (9-14) David's government and officers. (15-18) ” - Matthew Henry Concise. David defeated the Philistine, the Moabites, and David also defeated Hadadezer the Syrians. The spoil is dedicated to the Lord. David’s wisely appoints government officials, officers and priests. “15 So David reigned over all Israel. And David administered justice and equity to all his people. 16Joab the son of Zeruiah was over the army, and Jehoshaphat the son of Ahilud was recorder, 17 and Zadok the son of Ahitub and Ahimelech the son of Abiathar were priests, and Seraiah was secretary, 18 and Benaiah the son of Jehoiada was over the Cherethites and the Pelethites, and David’s sons were priests.” 2 Samuel 8:15-18, ESV. As of late I have fallen into the trap of complaining about our leaders.  I’m asking God and you in Jesus name to forgive me! Instead of complaining about our leaders we should be praying for them.  Look at the way David served his citizens here; let’s pray that God will impress this kind of wisdom on our leaders. We thank God for our salvation, without Jesus our righteousness is like filthy rags. Keep the first thing first, that is salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ. ““Come now, let us reason together, says the LORD: though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall become like wool.” Isaiah 1:18, ESV. At rest in his home David considers how he should care for the ark of the covenant. God tells Nathan what to tell David concerning a home for the ark. God makes a covenant with David, concerning his descendants and the kingdom. David loves the Lord God and honors him with prayer and thanksgiving.  “27 For you, O Lord of hosts, the God of Israel, have made this revelation to your servant, saying, ‘I will build you a house.’ Therefore your servant has found courage to pray this prayer to you. 28 And now, O Lord God, you are God, and your words are true, and you have promised this good thing to your servant. 29 Now therefore may it please you to bless the house of your servant, so that it may continue forever before you. Like David we should approach our God offering to serve His purposes. Approach our loving God with praise and thanksgiving. God you are our savior, our first love and our leader. We can endeavor to keep the first thing first, that is salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ. ““And if it is evil in your eyes to serve the LORD, choose this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your fathers served in the region beyond the River, or the gods of the Amorites in whose land you dwell. Continue Praying For Our Nation!

Today’s Feast Dec. 20, 2015 – II Samuel 6 Continue Praying For Our Nation! clic aquí en español Please join with us sharing God’s Word daily. We will spend about fifteen minutes a day praying and reading every word in God’s Word in approximately three years. “In those days a decree went out from Caesar Augustus that all the world should be registered. And Joseph also went up from Galilee, from the town of Nazareth, to Judea, to the city of David, which is called Bethlehem, because he was of the house and lineage of David, to be registered with Mary, his betrothed, who was with child.” Luke 2:1, 4-5, English Standard Version (ESV). Return to Admenu – Admenu’s Alternate Site Dear Saints, Thank you for joining us, as we prayerfully continue the Feast in 2nd Samuel Chapter 6; “The ark removed from Kirjath-jearim. (1-5) Uzzah smitten for touching the ark, Obed-edom blessed. (6-11) David brings the ark to Zion. (12-19) Michal's ill conduct. (20-23)” -Matthew Henry Concise. David went with all the people that were with him, to remove the Ark from Kirjath-jearim. Uzzah smitten for touching the ark, this scared David he asked God; “8 And David was angry because the Lord had broken out against Uzzah. And that place is called Perez-uzzah to this day. 9 And David was afraid of the Lord that day, and he said, “How can the ark of the Lord come to me?” ” 2 Samuel 6:8-9, ESV. When people attack us for praising God or praying in public, they will pay a price. Look and see how  Michal suffers for her bad conduct; “23 Therefore Michal the daughter of Saul had no child unto the day of her death.” 2 Samuel 6:23, ESV. Please continue to pray for our nation; “13 When I shut up the heavens so that there is no rain, or command the locust to devour the land, or send pestilence among my people, 14 if my people who are called by my name humble themselves, and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land. 15 Now my eyes will be open and my ears attentive to the prayer that is made in this place.” 2 Chronicles 7:13-15, ESV. The elections in the US are in the news we will elect some new and some incumbent servants in office. We need to pray for them and remember God is still our leader. One Nation Under God?

Today’s Feast Dec. 19, 2015 – II Samuel 5 One Nation Under God? clic aquí en español Please join with us sharing God’s Word daily. We will spend about fifteen minutes a day praying and reading every word in God’s Word in approximately three years. “76 And you, child, will be called the prophet of the Most High; for you will go before the Lord to prepare his ways, 77 to give knowledge of salvation to his people in the forgiveness of their sins, 78 because of the tender mercy of our God, whereby the sunrise shall visit us from on high” Luke 1:76-78, English Standard Version (ESV). Return to Admenu – Admenu’s Alternate Site Dear Saints, Thank you for joining us, as we prayerfully continue the Feast in 2nd Samuel Chapter 5; “ David king over all Israel. (1-5) He takes the strong-hold of Zion. (6-10) David's kingdom established. (11-16) He defeats the Philistines. (17-25) ” -Matthew Henry Concise. We see God make David king over all of His people. The Lord God leads David so he takes the strong-hold of Zion. One nation under God, David’s kingdom established. Guides David so that he defeats the Philistines. “22 And the Philistines came up yet again and spread out in the Valley of Rephaim. 23 And when David inquired of the Lord, he said, “You shall not go up; go around to their rear, and come against them opposite the balsam trees. 24 And when you hear the sound of marching in the tops of the balsam trees, then rouse yourself, for then the Lord has gone out before you to strike down the army of the Philistines.” 25 And David did as the Lord commanded him, and struck down the Philistines from Geba to Gezer.” 2 Samuel 5:22-25, ESV. When people call and wait on the Lord God, he defends them. If we wait on God, he will go before us;  “9 making known to us the mystery of his will, according to his purpose, which he set forth in Christ 10 as a plan for the fullness of time, to unite all things in him, things in heaven and things on earth.” Ephesians 1:9-10, ESV.  Keep the first thing first that is salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ.
