Share It, Tell Them!

Please join with us sharing God’s Word daily. We will spend about fifteen minutes a day praying and reading every word in God’s Word in approximately three years.

God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth.”John 4:24, English Standard Version (ESV)

Dear Saints,

Thank you for joining us, as we prayerfully continue our Feast in Acts Chapter 20; “Paul's journeys. (1-6) Eutychus restored to life. (7-12) Paul travels towards Jerusalem. (13-16) Paul's discourse to the elders of Ephesus. (17-27) Their farewell. (28-38)” - Matthew Henry Concise.

Paul’s travels about Macedonia and Greece preaching the gospel. Eutychus fell from the third story and was restored to life. Paul passing Ephesus to go towards Jerusalem to be there for the day of Pentecost. Paul’s addresses the elders of Ephesus, telling them to protect the church of God. Their emotional and prayerful farewell. ”35 In all things I have shown you that by working hard in this way we must help the weak and remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he himself said, ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’ 36 And when he had said these things, he knelt down and prayed with them all. 37 And there was much weeping on the part of all; they embraced Paul and kissed him, 38 being sorrowful most of all because of the word he had spoken, that they would not see his face again. And they accompanied him to the ship.Acts 20:35-38, ESV. Emotional farewells and some uncertainties, come to all of us who are, blessed to the point of sharing the love of Jesus. “And the angel said to her, “Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God. And behold, you will conceive in your womb and bear a son, and you shall call his name Jesus. He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High. And the Lord God will give to him the throne of his father David, and he will reign over the house of Jacob forever, and of his kingdom there will be no end.”Luke 1:30-33, ESV. Sharing this gift from God telling as many as possible, we know we will be reunited on the return of Christ. He himself will wipe the tears of sorrow from our eyes. So we continue to keep the first thing first, salvation through the blood of our Lord Jesus. Carrying the gospel wherever God takes us. If the Lord is willing I’ll send and post the Feast again tomorrow

Don’t get caught up in “religion”, it is about a relationship. Our salvation depends completely on God! We are the Saints that Jesus sacrificed his life to pay in full for our sin, when we repent and accept Jesus. He will come to get every Saint; “36 “But concerning that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father only.” Matthew 24:36, ESV. We are building our relationship with Jesus right now, do not wait while you try to change anything.  Click this link for more information; admenu.com/calling.htm .

Attacking Them?

Today’s Feast

Attacking Them?

Please join with us sharing God’s Word daily. We will spend about fifteen minutes a day praying and reading every word in God’s Word in approximately three years.

For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand firm.”  Ephesians 6:12-13, English Standard Version (ESV)

Dear Saints,

Thank you for joining us, as we prayerfully continue our Feast in Acts Chapter 19; “Paul instructs the disciples of John at Ephesus. (1-7) He teaches there. (8-12) The Jewish exorcists disgraced. Some Ephesians burn their evil books. (13-20) The tumult at Ephesus. (21-31) The tumult appeased. (32-41)” - Matthew Henry Concise.

Fellow followers of the Way, today we prayerfully read in, Acts 19. Paul instructs the disciples of John concerning Jesus and they are filled with the Holy Spirit at Ephesus. He teaches them by reasoning with them concerning the Messiah. The Jewish exorcists are disgraced, when they use magic arts. Some of the Ephesians convinced that Jesus is the Way, burned their evil books. The Ephesians are up in arms; they feel that the way in intruding on the living they make in magic arts and making of idols at Ephesus. The tumult appeased; “35 And when the town clerk had quieted the crowd, he said, “Men of Ephesus, who is there who does not know that the city of the Ephesians is temple keeper of the great Artemis, and of the sacred stone that fell from the sky? 36 Seeing then that these things cannot be denied, you ought to be quiet and do nothing rash. 37 For you have brought these men here who are neither sacrilegious nor blasphemers of our goddess. 38 If therefore Demetrius and the craftsmen with him have a complaint against anyone, the courts are open, and there are proconsuls. Let them bring charges against one another. 39 But if you seek anything further, it shall be settled in the regular assembly. 40 For we really are in danger of being charged with rioting today, since there is no cause that we can give to justify this commotion.” 41 And when he had said these things, he dismissed the assembly.Acts 19:35-41, ESV. Sometimes common sense takes over and men finding the Way see the evil in their own lives. Here they realized that the disciples are not attacking them for their sins. They are merely sharing the love of Jesus. “[Birth of Jesus Foretold] In the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent from God to a city of Galilee named Nazareth, to a virgin betrothed to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David. And the virgin’s name was Mary. And he came to her and said, “Greetings, O favored one, the Lord is with you!”Luke 1:26-28, ESV. Share the gift of eternal life through our Lord Jesus. He is the Savior of all persons, whoever accepts his love. Keep the first thing first, salvation through the blood of our Lord Jesus. When the sinner turns to the light, and accept Him, Jesus will save them from their sins. If the Lord is willing I’ll send and post the Feast again tomorrow

Reason With Them!

Today’s Feast
Jan. 26, 2016 Acts 18
Reason With Them!

Please join with us sharing God’s Word daily. We will spend about fifteen minutes a day praying and reading every word in God’s Word in approximately three years.

Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will exalt you. James 4:10, English Standard Version (ESV)

Dear Saints,

Thank you for joining us, as we prayerfully continue our Feast in Acts Chapter 18; “Paul at Corinth, with Aquila and Priscilla. (1-6) He continues to preach at Corinth. (7-11) Paul before Gallio. (12-17) He visits Jerusalem. (18-23) Apollos teaches at Ephesus and in Achaia. (24-28)” - Matthew Henry Concise.

Paul is staying in Corinth, with fellow tent makers Aquila and Priscilla. Paul trusts God and continues to preach at Corinth. Paul went before Gallio, who was indifferent to the gospel, didn’t consider Paul’s actions to be serious enough for punishment. He returns to Antioch, continuing to build the believers faith. Apollos teaches at Ephesus and in Achaia. “24 Now a Jew named Apollos, a native of Alexandria, came to Ephesus. He was an eloquent man, competent in the Scriptures. 25 He had been instructed in the way of the Lord. And being fervent in spirit, he spoke and taught accurately the things concerning Jesus, though he knew only the baptism of John. 26 He began to speak boldly in the synagogue, but when Priscilla and Aquila heard him, they took him aside and explained to him the way of God more accurately. 27 And when he wished to cross to Achaia, the brothers encouraged him and wrote to the disciples to welcome him. When he arrived, he greatly helped those who through grace had believed, 28 for he powerfully refuted the Jews in public, showing by the Scriptures that the Christ was Jesus.Acts 18:24-28, ESV. Priscilla and Aquila heard Apollos he was telling people to believe in Jesus. He only knew the baptism of John, rather than disagreeing with him they took him aside and and taught him. The lesson here is rather than causing a roe because you don’t agree with a saint, reason with them in private. Encouraging the saint in the love of Jesus. “and assembling all the chief priests and scribes of the people, he inquired of them where the Christ was to be born. They told him, “In Bethlehem of Judea, for so it is written by the prophet: “‘And you, O Bethlehem, in the land of Judah, are by no means least among the rulers of Judah; for from you shall come a ruler who will shepherd my people Israel.’”Matthew 2:4-6, ESV. Jesus is the Savior of all persons. Encourage people in his love! Keep the first thing first, that is salvation paid for, in full by our Lord Jesus Christ. If the Lord is willing I’ll send and post the Feast again tomorrow
