Today’s Feast

Nano Second In Eternity!
Please join with us sharing God’s Word daily. We will spend about
fifteen minutes a day praying and reading every word in God’s Word in
approximately three years.
“18 But grow in the grace and knowledge of our
Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be the glory both now and to the
day of eternity. Amen.” 2 Peter 3:18, English Standard Version
(ESV)
Dear
Saints,
Today we prayerfully read
our Feast in 2 Kings, Chapter 17; “Reign of Hoshea in Israel, The israelites
carried captives by the Assyrians. (1-6) Captivity of the Israelites. (7-23)The nations placed in the land of Israel. (24-41) ” - Matthew Henry Concise.
Today we are prayerfully
reading, 2 Kings 16. God
expects His people to love and honor him. We cannot and must not
serve two masters. The Israelites were trying to serve multiple gods, and God
pulls His protection from them. “36
but
you shall fear the Lord, who brought you out of the land of Egypt with great
power and with an outstretched arm. You shall bow yourselves to him, and to
him you shall sacrifice. 37 And the statutes and the rules
and the law and the commandment that he wrote for you, you shall always be
careful to do. You shall not fear other gods, 38 and you
shall not forget the covenant that I have made with you. You shall not fear
other gods, 39 but you shall fear the Lord your God, and he
will deliver you out of the hand of all your enemies.” 40 However,
they would not listen, but they did according to their former manner. “ 2nd
Kings 17:36-40, ESV. There is only one God and he wants
our hearts to turn to Him only. “9 But, as it is written, "What no eye has seen, nor ear
heard, nor the heart of man imagined, what God has prepared for
those who love him"” 1
Corinthians 2:9, ESV. Saints
if we had any idea what God has in store for us when he takes us home, no one
could even think of any other thing. Can you imagine Jesus
greeting you saying; well done my good and faithful one? With that
in mind it is easy to keep the first thing first. That being
salvation through the blood of our Lord Jesus. Let your light
shine keep your eyes on Jesus! Remember this first part of life is
less than a Nano second in eternity. If
the Lord is willing I will post and send the Feast again tomorrow.

Set Free From What?
Please join with us sharing God’s Word daily. We will spend about

approximately three years.
“5 For you, O Lord, are good and forgiving, abounding in
steadfast love to all who call upon you.” Psalm 86:5, English Standard Version
(ESV)
Dear
Saints,
Today we prayerfully read
our Feast in 2 Kings, Chapter 16; “Ahaz, king of Judah, His wicked reign. (1-9) Ahaz takes a pattern from an idol's altar. (10-16) Ahaz spoils the temple. (17-20)” - Matthew Henry Concise.
Today we are prayerfully reading, 2 Kings 16. We
see more turmoil in the Holy Land, King Ahaz holds the Sabbath in contempt. He
holds God in low esteem as he seeks to please the king of Assyria. “17 And King Ahaz cut off the frames of the stands and removed the basin
from them, and he took down the sea from off the bronze oxen that were under
it and put it on a stone pedestal. 18 And the covered way
for the Sabbath that had been built inside the house and the outer entrance
for the king he caused to go around the house of the Lord, because of the
king of Assyria.“ 2nd
Kings 16:17-18, ESV. Believers should reach out to Jesus when
the going gets rough. Sometimes it is fear that causes men to sin
against God. Sin compounds itself when men in desperation, try to please
man. “Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the
Lord is one. You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with
all your soul and with all your might.” Deuteronomy
6:4-5, ESV. God has plans for every ounce of your strength, He
wants us to love and trust him above all else. Let’s keep the
first thing first. That is salvation through the blood of our Lord
Jesus. Do we please man over God, when we have sinned? Putting
God first sets us free from sin. Ask God for help in hard times,
when sin is dragging you down, ask for forgiveness in Jesus name, he alone
overcame death and corruption. If the Lord is willing I will post and
send the Feast again tomorrow.

Today’s Feast

Just Ask!
Please join with us sharing God’s Word daily. We will spend about

approximately three years.
“28 And we know that for those who love God all things work together for
good, for those who are called according to his purpose.” Romans 8:28, English Standard Version
(ESV)
Dear
Saints,
Today we prayerfully read
our Feast in 2 Kings, Chapter 15; “Reign of Azariah, or Uzziah, king of Judah. (1-7) The latter kings of Israel. (8-31) Jotham, king of Judah. (32-38)” - Matthew Henry Concise.
Today we are
prayerfully reading, 2 Kings 15. We
see a lot of turmoil in the Holy Land, as we read today’s Feast.Jotham the
son of Uzziah, reigns as king of Judah. Though he did what was
right in the eyes of the lord, he didn’t do everything that God expected. God
allowed army’s to continue to raid his kingdom because he did things halfway. “37 In those days the Lord began to send
Rezin the king of Syria and Pekah the son of Remaliah against Judah. 38
Jotham slept with his fathers and was buried with his fathers in the city of
David his father, and Ahaz his son reigned in his place.“ 2nd Kings
15:37-38, ESV. We can’t serve our God halfway. Jesus is
the center of a Godly life, with no high places on the side. When
we sin we must repent and ask God to forgive us. With everything
we’ve read in God’s Word we know we can depend on God. “5 For you, O Lord, are good and forgiving, abounding in steadfast love to
all who call upon you.” Psalm
86:5, ESV. We are saved, by grace not by our own works. When
we sin we must be faithful to repent and ask God for forgiveness. Jesus
loves you, keep the first thing first. That is salvation through the
blood of our Lord Jesus. God is not willing that any should
perish, so he is true to forgive us when we ask for forgiveness. If the Lord
is willing I will post and send the Feast again tomorrow.

“9 Know therefore that the Lord your God is
God, the faithful God who keeps covenant and steadfast love with
those who love him and keep his commandments, to a thousand generations,” Deuteronomy 7:9, English Standard Version
(ESV)
Dear
Saints,
Today we prayerfully read
our Feast in 2 Kings, Chapter 13; “Reign of Jehoahaz. (1-9) Jehoash, king of Israel, Elisha dying. (10-19) Elisha's death, The victories of Jehoash. (20-25)” - Matthew Henry Concise.
Today we are
prayerfully reading, 2 Kings 13. Today
we read as Elisha finishes his service to God. It seems he crossed
the finish line so well his very bones were blessed. “20 So Elisha died, and they buried
him. Now bands of Moabites used to invade the land in the spring of the year.
21 And as a man was being buried, behold, a marauding band was seen and the
man was thrown into the grave of Elisha, and as soon as the man touched the
bones of Elisha, he revived and stood on his feet.“ 2nd
Kings 13:20-21, ESV. How precious It would be to hear our Lord
and Savior say; “…, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant.
You have been faithful over a little; I will set you over much. Enter into
the joy of your master.’” Matthew
25:21, ESV. No matter what you offer to God, or what your
station in life on the job or in the Church is; do it for Jesus. If you do
when you cross the finish line Jesus will say to you; “Well Done”! If
the Lord is willing I will post and send the Feast again tomorrow.

Is My Life Pleasing To God?
Please join with us sharing God’s Word daily. We will spend about
fifteen minutes a day praying and reading every word in God’s Word in
approximately three years.
“15 but in your hearts honor Christ
the Lord as holy, always being prepared to make a defense to anyone who asks
you for a reason for the hope that is in you; yet do it with gentleness and
respect,” 1 Peter 3:15, English Standard Version
(ESV)
Dear
Saints,
Today we prayerfully read
our Feast in 2 Kings, Chapter 12; “Jehoash orders the repair of the temple. (1-16) He is slain by his servants. (17-21)” - Matthew Henry Concise.
Today we are
prayerfully reading, 2 Kings 12. Jehoash
orders the money that had been collected to be used to pay the workmen for
the repair of the temple. Jehoash started out with great faith
doing right in the eyes of the Lord. In the end he puts his faith
in an earthly king and he is slain by his servants. “20 His servants arose and made a
conspiracy and struck down Joash in the house of Millo, on the way that goes
down to Silla. 21 It was Jozacar the son of Shimeath and Jehozabad
the son of Shomer, his servants, who struck him down, so that he died. And
they buried him with his fathers in the city of David, and Amaziah his son
reigned in his place.“ 2nd Kings
12:20-21, ESV. Those of us that are put in authority in any
situation are responsible to the Lord. Whether you are the head of
the country or responsible for cleaning the ashtrays. We may be
the CEO of a fortune 500 company or a child’s nanny; in either way we are
responsible to put God first. Trust God before any earthly help or
guidance. “24 God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and
truth.” John
4:24, ESV. Whether we are serving God or an earthly master do
so as you are serving God in every instance. On the job or in the
church, in public or with our family be true and keep the first thing first. This
is salvation through the blood of our Lord Jesus. In doing the
right thing all the time your very life is a light to those seeking God and
pleasing to the Lord. Please put God first and you
will truly be pleasing to those around you. If the Lord is willing I
will post and send the Feast again tomorrow.

Who Are You Voting For?
Today’s Feast

Who Are You Voting For?
Please join with us sharing God’s Word daily. We will spend about
fifteen minutes a day praying and reading every word in God’s Word in
approximately three years.
“9 who saved us and called us to a
holy calling, not because of our works but because of his own purpose and
grace, which he gave us in Christ Jesus before the ages began,” 2 Timothy 1:9, English Standard Version
(ESV)
Dear
Saints,
Today we prayerfully read
our Feast in 2 Kings, Chapter 11; “Athaliah usurps the government of Judah,
Jehoash made king. (1-12) Athaliah put to death. (13-16) The worship of the Lord restored. (17-21)” - Matthew Henry Concise.
Today we are
prayerfully reading, 2 Kings 11. Athaliah
kills all the known line of David and usurps the government of Judah. Jehoash
who was hidden from her and is made king. Athaliah Is cast out
like Satan from power. Athaliah is put to death. The
worship of the Lord restored when God picks the seven year old to be king. “21 Jehoash was seven years old when he
began to reign. “ 2nd Kings
11:21, ESV. Sometimes we are quick to complain about our
leadership even in a society where we choose our own leaders. I’m
here to let you know that God chooses our leaders according to how we serve
the Lord. Some may say that “money” makes the choice, but God’s
Word say’s it is God. “5 Lift not up your horn on high: speak not with a stiff neck. 6
For promotion cometh neither from the east, nor from the west, nor from the
south. 7 But God is the judge: he putteth down one, and setteth up
another.“ Psalm
75:5-7, King James
Version (KJV). How does this affect you and I saint? If
you really don’t know take a look at the Israelites and where their
complaining got them as they were led by Moses in the wilderness. If
we really want a change in leadership we must turn to God! That’s
what God’s Word say’s. “14 if my people who are called by my name humble themselves, and pray and
seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven
and will forgive their sin and heal their land.” 2
Chronicles 7:14, ESV. We are not supposed to complain
about our leaders or make them the butt of our jokes. Think twice
about what you have to say as a child of God. Let your speech glorify
God because you are the light of the world. “For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers,
against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present
darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places.
Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand
in the evil day, and having done all, to stand firm.” Ephesians
6:12-13, ESV. This means that we should be thankful to God
even whenever and wherever He his will is done. Understand
that Jesus keep his own. Along with that keep the first thing
first. This is salvation through the blood of our Lord Jesus. You
can be assured our awesome God never changes. He is eternally true
and true to us as his children. If the Lord is willing I will post and
send the Feast again tomorrow.
