All Those Who Will?

We begin by reading of Solomon’s prayer for the dedication of the temple. “40 Now, O my God, let your eyes be open and your ears attentive to the prayer of this place. 41 "And now arise, O LORD God, and go to your resting place, you and the ark of your might. Let your priests, O LORD God, be clothed with salvation, and let your saints rejoice in your goodness. 42 O LORD God, do not turn away the face of your anointed one! Remember your steadfast love for David your servant."”    2 Chronicles 6:40-42, English Standard Version (ESV).  Our Savior Jesus born in the line of David!  When he prayed before the crucifixion, He lead the disciples to a garden at the Mount of Olives, Gethsemani; “39 And he came out and went, as was his custom, to the Mount of Olives, and the disciples followed him. 40 And when he came to the place, he said to them, “Pray that you may not enter into temptation.” 41 And he withdrew from them about a stone's throw, and knelt down and prayed, 42 saying, “Father, if you are willing, remove this cup from me. Nevertheless, not my will, but yours, be done.”” Luke 22:39-42, ESV.  Do you remember the disciples at the crucifixion of Jesus the Christ.  The hour of Jesus Death, Jesus-followers were present at the cross; it must have seemed that their world falling apart.  Their actions tell us at that point they were having a problem holding on to their faith.  They didn’t understand Jesus’ words prior to Good Friday, they didn’t understand what was happening, and this wasn’t the end they were looking for.  They didn’t have a bible that they read and understand what Jesus death meant.  If you hadn’t read it in black and white and the gospel ended here; would you have understood what was happening at this point?  The only one acting good on Good Friday was Jesus! “21 For our sake he made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.” 2 Corinthians 5:21, ESV.  Keep the faith saints; there is good news for everyone who will.  If the Lord is willing I will send and post the Feast again tomorrow. Make Room For Father?

We spend about fifteen minutes a day praying and reading every word in God’s Word in approximately three years. “20 Now an intermediary implies more than one, but God is one” Galatians 3:20, English Standard Version (ESV) Return to Admenu – Admenu’s Alternate Site Dear Saints, Today we prayerfully, continue to Feast in   2 Chronicles 5. The ark being placed in the temple is akin to us being sealed with God’s Holy Spirit.  Here we see the praise and thanksgiving, praising God with trumpets, music and singing.  The temple filled with glory. “13 and it was the duty of the trumpeters and singers to make themselves heard in unison in praise and thanksgiving to the LORD), and when the song was raised, with trumpets and cymbals and other musical instruments, in praise to the LORD, "For he is good, for his steadfast love endures forever, "the house, the house of the LORD, was filled with a cloud,  14 so that the priests could not stand to minister because of the cloud, for the glory of the LORD filled the house of God.”    2 Chronicles 5:13-14, ESV.  We don’t see long faces and speeches drawn out in agony.   Here we see God filling the temple with His glory, his people are rejoicing. There is true joy in our awesome God.  “5 For there is one God, and there is one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, 6 who gave himself as a ransom for all, which is the testimony given at the proper time.” 1 Timothy 2:5-6, ESV.  Let’s enter into the throne room with Joy and thanksgiving.  The only way to do that is by making room for Jesus in your life.  Let’s all make our lives about a personal relationship with Jesus, that we may experience the true joy of our loving God.  Draw close to God today! With Whom Should I Fellowship?

We spend about fifteen minutes a day praying and reading every word in God’s Word in approximately three years. “32 Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you.” Ephesians 4:32, English Standard Version (ESV) Return to Admenu – Admenu’s Alternate Site Dear Saints, Today we prayerfully, continue to Feast in  2 Chronicles 4. The furniture of the temple is completed God’s temple was fashioned in anticipation for the multiplication of worshippers.  Thank Jesus he made enough room for all that may be saved.  Hiram’s work was finished on time and as budgeted.   “19 So Solomon made all the vessels that were in the house of God: the golden altar, the tables for the bread of the Presence, 20 the lampstands and their lamps of pure gold to burn before the inner sanctuary, as prescribed; 21 the flowers, the lamps, and the tongs, of purest gold; 22 the snuffers, basins, dishes for incense, and fire pans, of pure gold, and the sockets of the temple, for the inner doors to the Most Holy Place and for the doors of the nave of the temple were of gold.”   2 Chronicles 4:19-22, ESV.  From what we see in temple God love’s art and a beautiful place for his people to worship.  God loves the beautiful believers that carry his Word to a lost world.  God looks out for the beautiful spirits that have faith in Jesus.  God’s not looking at the flesh we know he looks at the spirit because the Word says it; “23 But the hour is coming, and is now here, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for the Father is seeking such people to worship him. 24 God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth.”” John 4:23-24, ESV.  God does not look at the flesh or the position we hold at work or in the church, He is only interested in the spirit.  Neither should we judge a person by their fleshly appearance or the bangles and bobbles (bling) they wear.  Keep your eyes on Jesus and fellowship with those who glorify God.  If there are people you want to fellowship with, make sure they know you have a personal relationship with Jesus. When they see Jesus working in you, they will want the same gift you already have.  If they won’t come to Jesus pray and search the scriptures (hint Matthew 10:14) for guidance.  All things considered never fellowship without Jesus!  If the Lord is willing I will send and post the Feast again tomorrow.     God Bless You, Brother Mike Links That Inspire me |Click Here| http: //www.admenu.com https://admenu.wordpress.com

Who Knows God’s Plan?

We spend about fifteen minutes a day praying and reading every word in God’s Word in approximately three years. “15 “If your brother sins against you, go and tell him his fault, between you and him alone. If he listens to you, you have gained your brother.” Matthew 18:15, English Standard Version (ESV) Return to Admenu – Admenu’s Alternate Site Dear Saints, Today we prayerfully, continue to Feast in  2 Chronicles 3. Today we see a better account of the building of the Temple ( 1 Kings 6 ) more than the land  purchased, we see God’s direction in the construction. When we have complete instructions we are able to finish what we start to completion. Thank God for his Word, the Holy Spirit for understanding and interpretation, in the Scriptures the directions are sufficient for our task.  “15 In front of the house he made two pillars thirty-five cubits high, with a capital of five cubits on the top of each. 16 He made chains like a necklace and put them on the tops of the pillars, and he made a hundred pomegranates and put them on the chains. 17 He set up the pillars in front of the temple, one on the south, the other on the north; that on the south he called Jachin, and that on the north Boaz.”   2 Chronicles 3:15-17, ESV.  We should read the scriptures daily, praising God that we have been sealed with the Holy Spirit to help us understand, believe, and obey God’s Holy Word. Our way is made clear, and whatever we start in Jesus’ name is finished glorifying Jesus.  “10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.” Ephesians 2:10, ESV.  Sometimes it is not easy or convenient, to fulfill our tasks in our walk with Jesus. Maybe a relative may say; you would have more time to spend with your family if you weren’t down at that church every day.  Don’t let the accuser sway you, God’s family is our family.  You may want to ask the person who is accusing, if they would mind joining you at the church.  After all shouldn’t we invite everyone to have a relationship with Jesus?  You may be surprised! God’s plan for us is revealed in God’s Word.  If the Lord is willing I will send and post the Feast again tomorrow.     God Bless You, Brother Mike Links That Inspire me |Click Here| http: //www.admenu.com https://admenu.wordpress.com

Who’s Providing the Means?

We spend about fifteen minutes a day praying and reading every word in God’s Word in approximately three years. “1 There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. 2 For the law of the Spirit of life has set you free in Christ Jesus from the law of sin and death.” Romans 8:1-2, English Standard Version (ESV) Return to Admenu – Admenu’s Alternate Site Dear Saints, Today we prayerfully, continue to Feast in  2 Chronicles 2. Solomon is making preparations to Build the Temple. Why does Solomon make a treaty with Huram? Because he knew they could supply the timber for the project.  That is where King David got the Cedars.  That is where the craftsmen were. We never go to the grocery store to buy lumber, that wouldn’t make sense. Likewise we wouldn’t pick a baker to set a diamond. Solomon knew Hiram respected the God of Israel and he would supply his best for Him.  “12 Hiram also said, “Blessed be the Lord God of Israel, who made heaven and earth, who has given King David a wise son, who has discretion and understanding, who will build a temple for the Lordand a royal palace for himself. ” 2 Chronicles 2:12, ESV. Solomon was a wise king and administrator.  He shows how he budgets his manpower in this verse.  “17 Then Solomon counted all the resident aliens who were in the land of Israel, after the census of them that David his father had taken, and there were found 153,600. 18 Seventy thousand of them he assigned to bear burdens, 80,000 to quarry in the hill country, and 3,600 as overseers to make the people work. ” 2 Chronicles 2:17-18, ESV.  I had to do the math here.  I figure that he assigned management at a ratio of 1.5% of the workforce. That may be a great formula for figuring management for any task. Did you know that you are building or maintaining a temple for God?   “19 Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, 20 for you were bought with a price. So glorify God in your body.” 1 Corinthians 6:19-20, ESV. Our Lord wants us to be a good steward of our Temple for the Holy Spirit.  Don’t worry about the cost of maintaining your temple.  Just as he did with King Solomon God will supply the means.  Use the tools God has supplied, Pastor’s, the bible, the body of believers which is the Church.  Trust God when you need something, God will provide it.  “26 But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all that I have said to you.“ John 14:26, ESV.  Whenever God gives us an assignment or task He will supply the means.  So be a good steward let your light shine; Jesus provides the fuel.  If the Lord is willing I will send and post the Feast again tomorrow. 2 Chronicles 2, – “Solomon's message to Huram respecting the temple, His treaty with Huram.” – Matthew Henry Concise Commentary      God Bless You, Brother Mike Links That Inspire me |Click Here| http: //www.admenu.com https://admenu.wordpress.com

Am I Content Father?

We spend about fifteen minutes a day praying and reading every word in God’s Word in approximately three years. “5 Walk in wisdom toward outsiders, making the best use of the time.6 Let your speech always be gracious, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how you ought to answer each person.” Colossians 4:5-6, English Standard Version (ESV) Return to Admenu – Admenu’s Alternate Site Dear Saints, Today we prayerfully, continue to Feast in 2 Chronicles 1. When you pray what is in your heart?  Do you pray for dominion over others, money, long life or wisdom like Solomon?   “11 God answered Solomon, “Because this was in your heart, and you have not asked for possessions, wealth, honor, or the life of those who hate you, and have not even asked for long life, but have asked for wisdom and knowledge for yourself that you may govern my people over whom I have made you king, 12 wisdom and knowledge are granted to you. I will also give you riches, possessions, and honor, such as none of the kings had who were before you, and none after you shall have the like.””  2 Chronicles 1:11-12,  ESV.  Read this carefully saint, Solomon was not asking selfishly for himself. Solomon was asking so for wisdom to lead others.  He was putting God’s people first so God added what he might have want of.  When we learn to pray for the wellbeing and comfort for others, and truly are happy for others God will bless us.  “For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 6:23, ESV.  God gives us the very best, eternal life in Jesus!  So the question is can we as Christians be truly happy for others?  Jesus told us the most important commandment is to love the Lord your God with all your heart every fiber of our being.  Jesus also said the second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself.   So I was thinking hmmm!  Can I truly be happy when a neighbor gets something great?  I think the better question is; am I content in my relationship with God?  That is something every saint can answer only for themselves.  I think the apostle Paul got it, look here; “11 Not that I am speaking of being in need, for I have learned in whatever situation I am to be content. 12 I know how to be brought low, and I know how to abound. In any and every circumstance, I have learned the secret of facing plenty and hunger, abundance andneed. ” Philippians 4:11-12, ESV.    I personally believe the secret is in our relationship with Jesus.  I challenge each of you to ask yourself; am I content in my relationship with Jesus?  If the Lord is willing I will send and post the Feast again tomorrow. 2 Chronicles 1, – “Solomon's choice of wisdom, His strength and wealth. - SOLOMON began his reign with a pious, public visit to God's altar. Those that pursue present things most eagerly, are likely to be disappointed; while those that refer themselves to the providence of God, if they have not the most, have the most comfort. Those that make this world their end, come short of the other, and are disappointed in this also; but those that make the other world their end, shall not only obtain that, and full satisfaction in it, but shall have as much of this world as is good for them, in their way. Keep The First Thing First!

We spend about fifteen minutes a day praying and reading every word in God’s Word in approximately three years. “16 Rejoice always, 17 pray without ceasing, 18 give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.” 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18, English Standard Version (ESV) Return to Admenu – Admenu’s Alternate Site Dear Saints, Today we prayerfully, continue our Feast in Romans 16. Invite people to worship with you; at times that is all it takes to bring some into the family of God, thru faith in Jesus. Be a good steward with your guests, people who are well introduced will be more comfortable in the Church.  Don’t join gossips and backbiters in their sin.  Divisions in opinion and feelings are best met with prayer from all.  Paul’s wishes for the saints still apply; “I want you to be wise as to what is good and innocent as to what is evil.”  Make sure that you greet fellow saints with the light of Jesus, wherever you meet them.  Be sure that the glory is given to God in all things; “25 Now to him who is able to strengthen you according to my gospel and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery that was kept secret for long ages 26 but has now been disclosed and through the prophetic writings has been made known to all nations, according to the command of the eternal God, to bring about the obedience of faith— 27 to the only wise God be glory forevermore through Jesus Christ! Amen.” Romans 16:25-27, ESV.  Our God is an awesome God, our savior Jesus is like no other.  “12 Blessed is the man who remains steadfast under trial, for when he has stood the test he will receive the crown of life, which God has promised to those who love him.” James 1:12, ESV.  We must hold our course in purpose and love for God, Jesus, the Holy Spirit and our fellow saints.  Keep the first thing first in all your service.
