Dear Saints,
Today we prayerfully Feast in 1 Corinthians 7. Paul
said that it is better no to be married. However because of the
temptation to sexual immorality, it is better to be the husband of one wife. Whatever
your situation is when Jesus calls you stand in that condition until the Holy
Spirit leads you to change. We are not bound by God’s law to change our
life, body or anything except for sin. “17 Only let each person lead the
life that the Lord has assigned to him, and to which God has called him. This
is my rule in all the churches. 18 Was anyone at
the time of his call already circumcised? Let him not seek to remove the
marks of circumcision. Was anyone at the time of his call uncircumcised? Let
him not seek circumcision.19 For neither circumcision counts
for anything nor uncircumcision, but keeping the commandments of God.” 1
Corinthians 7:17-19, English Standard Version (ESV). This
doesn’t mean that we stay ignorant of God’s purpose for our lives. God
wants all or us to be prepared, man or women for the purpose he called each
of us for. “14 And this is the
confidence that we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to
his will he hears us. 15 And if we know that he hears us
in whatever we ask, we know that we have the requests that we have asked of
him.” 1
John 5:14-15, ESV. Notice the verse said; “according to his
will”. How do we know if we are in God’s will when we are seeking
something? By prayer and study in God’s Word we will learn to
yield to the Holy Spirit. If a change glorifies Jesus you’re on
the right track. If the Lord is willing I will send and post the

Dear Saints,
Today we prayerfully Feast in 1 Corinthians 6. Paul
cautions against going to law in heathen courts. If we the Saints
are going to be judges of angels isn’t it a wonder that we can’t settle our
matters within the church? Surely we can find someone in the church wise
enough to make a judgment. The laws of men can’t forgive or nullify sin. Sins
are like cancer to the soul, if lived and died in, they will keep us out of
the kingdom of God. Our bodies, which are the members of
Christ, and temples of the Holy Ghost, must not be defiled. “18 Flee from sexual immorality.
Every other sin a person commits is outside the body, but the sexually
immoral person sins against his own body. 19 Or do
you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom
you have from God? You are not your own, 20 for you
were bought with a price. So glorify God in your body.” 1
Corinthians 6:18-20, English Standard Version (ESV). Am I
talking out of church or do we know what sin is? Sin is any
act or thought that is contrary to God! The sin that goes on unrepentant in a
person’s life separates them from God. “9 Or do you not know that the unrighteous will
not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: neither the sexually
immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who practice homosexuality, 10 nor
thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers will
inherit the kingdom of God. 11 And such were some
of you. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were
justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.” 1
Corinthians 6:9-11, ESV. Saints understand this we have been
forgiven of every sin we every committed when we repent and ask Jesus into
our life. If you were cleaned from cancer would you try to get it
back? No! Cancer kills the body just as sin kills our
spirit. Any believer who turns back to their sin is likened to a
dog turning back to its vomit. Our bodies are the temple of the Holy
Spirit, let’s not grieve Him. God has a purpose for your life
let’s avoid sinful thought, because that’s what leads to the act of sinning. Enjoy
Jesus’ righteousness, yield to the Holy Spirit because that leads us to glory! If

Dear Saints,
Today we prayerfully Feast in 1 Corinthians 5. Paul
isn’t just condemning sexual immorality among the Saints at Corinth; He is
telling the Saints to cast out all who are living in sin. This
means the unrepentant. We are new creatures in Jesus; living free from
sin. “12 For what have I to do with
judging outsiders? Is it not those inside the church whom you
are to judge? 13 God judges those outside. “Purge
the evil person from among you.”” 1
Corinthians 5:12-13 English Standard Version (ESV). This is
not about those in the world who do not know Jesus. We approach
them in love telling them of God’s grace. The question is how do
we approach the sinner who is already a member of the Church, a confessed
saint? We turn to God’s owner’s manual for souls, the bible. “15 “If your brother sins against
you, go and tell him his fault, between you and him alone. If he listens
to you, you have gained your brother. 16 But if he
does not listen, take one or two others along with you, that every charge may
be established by the evidence of two or three witnesses. 17 If
he refuses to listen to them, tell it to the church. And if he refuses
to listen even to the church, let him be to you as a Gentile and a
tax collector.” Matthew
18:15-17, ESV. This is right in that we don’t gossip. We
don’t turn on the saint like they are sin itself. We lovingly go
to the sinner as God’s word instructs us;
1. We go to the
backslider in private
2. We go to the
backslider in the company of 2 or 3 witnessing Saints
3. Bring the
matter to the church family
If at any one of these steps the saint
repents you have gained a brother. The matter is no longer a
problem worth speaking of. These steps are a must because sin is
like cancer! A little bit spreads to the whole body.

Dear Saints,
Today we prayerfully Feast in 1 Corinthians 4 ←(Hyperlink). The
true character of gospel ministers are merely servants of Jesus and weren’t
to be considered less. They hold an honorable office. We under no
circumstance should despise ministers of Christ. Like Paul we
regard those whom we lead to Jesus as spiritual children. Do we
glorify God best in chastisement or love? “18 Some are arrogant, as
though I were not coming to you. 19 But I will come
to you soon, if the Lord wills, and I will find out not the talk of these
arrogant people but their power. 20 For the kingdom
of God does not consist in talk but in power. 21 What do
you wish? Shall I come to you with a rod, or with love in a spirit of
gentleness?” 1
Corinthians 4:18-21, English Standard Version (ESV). The Holy Spirit
will tell us what we need to do and how we should share, carry ourselves and
share God’s grace as Jesus’ followers. “15 Rather, speaking the
truth in love, we are to grow up in every way into him who is the
head, into Christ,” Ephesians
4:15, ESV. Herein is where our truth lies, our relationship
with Jesus should teach us to become more Christ like in faith, love and
grace as we mature. If the Lord is

Dear Saints,
Today we prayerfully Feast in 1 Corinthians 3 ←(Hyperlink). Do
you suppose yourself wiser than another in God’s scripture because you have
known Jesus longer? Don’t fool yourself for the quality of our relationship
with Jesus is far more important the length of our relationship. “18 Let no one deceive himself. If
anyone among you thinks that he is wise in this age, let him become a fool
that he may become wise.19 For the wisdom of this world
is folly with God. For it is written, “He catches the wise in their
craftiness,” 20 and again, “The Lord knows the
thoughts of the wise, that they are futile.” 21 So let
no one boast in men. For all things are yours, 22 whether
Paul or Apollos or Cephas or the world or life or death or the present or the
future—all are yours, 23 and you are Christ's, and Christ
is God's.” 1
Corinthians 3:18-23, English Standard Version (ESV). Only the
worldly automatically counts age as wisdom! Only God can see the
inner most thoughts of each believer. We are all servants of the
same God; no believer should set himself above another because Jesus rescued
him before the other. As believers we can definitely know Jesus
who paid for our sins. “25 For I know that my Redeemer
lives, and at the last he will stand upon the earth.” Job
19:25, ESV. We are sure of our redeemer because the Holy Spirit with
whom we are sealed gives us confidence in the Word and love of God! This
is folly in the eyes of the unbelievers because they are not sealed with the
Holy Spirit. “16 So do not let what you regard
as good be spoken of as evil. 17 For the kingdom of God
is not a matter of eating and drinking but of righteousness and peace
and joy in the Holy Spirit. 18 Whoever thus serves
Christ is acceptable to God and approved by men.” Romans
14:16-18, ESV. If the Lord is

Dear Saints,
Today we prayerfully Feast in 1 Corinthians 2.
The apostle preached Christ crucified. We don’t know the mind of
God; however we are educated by the Holy Spirit, in this doctrine. We can
understand God’s intentions by the Holy Spirit. “14 The natural person does not
accept the things of the Spirit of God, for they are folly to him, and he
is not able to understand them because they are spiritually discerned. 15 The spiritual
person judges all things, but is himself to be judged by no one. 16 “For
who has understood the mind of the Lord so as to instruct him?” But we
have the mind of Christ.” 1
Corinthians 2:14-16, English Standard Version (ESV). We
serve God proclaiming salvation through Jesus. We are not proclaiming
equality with Jesus, we claim justification through Jesus! “5 Have this mind among
yourselves, which is yours in Christ Jesus,6 who, though he
was in the form of God, did not count equality with God a thing to
be grasped, 7 but emptied himself, by taking the
form of a servant, being born in the likeness of men. 8 And
being found in human form, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to
the point of death, even death on a cross.” Philippians
2:5-8, ESV. We serve Jesus in love grateful thankfulness for
salvation. We offer to share salvation with every person, emulating the
grace that Jesus showed us on the cross. As we wait on the Lord, we can
join Pastor Glen in prayer; “PRAYER FOR TODAY: Dear Jesus: We vow to “stay
the course” and Lord we need help to restore the core beliefs among your
people, namely recognition that God is our help and deliverer. We seek a
revival that brings us to our knees asking for forgiveness. In Jesus Name we
pray, Amen.“ Waiting

Dear Saints,
Today we prayerfully begin to Feast in 1 Corinthians 1. Do
you wonder why we refer to my brothers and sisters in Jesus as Saints? “2 To
the church of God that is in Corinth, to those sanctified in Christ
Jesus, called to be saints together with all those who in every place call
upon the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, both their Lord and ours:
3 Grace
to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.” 1
Corinthians 1:2-3, English Standard Version (ESV). Because it
is scriptural! We should continue to hold our work up to the Word
of God. “29 so that no human being might
boast in the presence of God. 30 And because of him you
are in Christ Jesus, who became to us wisdom from God, righteousness
and sanctification and redemption, 31 so that,
as it is written, “Let the one who boasts, boast in the Lord.” ” 1
Corinthians 1:29-31, ESV. We want to reach as many as we can
for Jesus. It is for that reason why we keep it simple. If the Lord is willing I will send and post

“The Corinthian church contained some Jews,
but more Gentiles, and the apostle had to contend with the superstition of
the one, and the sinful conduct of the other. The peace of this church was
disturbed by false teachers, who undermined the influence of the apostle. Two
parties were the result; one contending earnestly for the Jewish ceremonies,
the other indulging in excesses contrary to the gospel, to which they were
especially led by the luxury and the sins which prevailed around them. This
epistle was written to rebuke some disorderly conduct, of which the apostle
had been apprized, and to give advice as to some points whereon his judgment
was requested by the Corinthians. Thus the scope was twofold. 1. To apply
suitable remedies to the disorders and abuses which prevailed among them. 2.
To give satisfactory answers on all the points upon which his advice had been
desired. The address, and Christian mildness, yet firmness, with which the
apostle writes, and goes on from general truths directly to oppose the errors
and evil conduct of the Corinthians, is very remarkable. He states the truth
and the will of God, as to various matters, with great force of argument and
