We spend about fifteen minutes a day praying and reading every word in God’s Word in approximately three years.   Return to Admenu – Admenu’s Alternate Site   Dear Saints,   Today we prayerfully continue the Feast in II Corinthians 6.  For what reason do we believe God has instructed us to separate ourselves from unbelievers?  “17 Therefore go out from their midst,     and be separate from them, says the Lord, and touch no unclean thing;     then I will welcome you, 18 and I will be a father to you,     and you shall be sons and daughters to me, says the Lord Almighty.”” II Corinthians 6:17-18, ESV.  Sometimes it’s hard to decide when to stop fellowshipping with some people.  However think about this; If they don’t repent and ask Jesus into their lives they are going to hell. With this in mind if God’s Word offends them; they are offended by God, not you. That offense may be what actually makes them examine their life, and accept Jesus. “11 And this is the testimony, that God gave us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. 12 Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life.” 1 John 5:11-12, ESV.  We have Jesus, we feel his love, and the Holy Spirit reminds and guides us.  God gave His Son and His Word for our instruction.  So when you’re figuring out who to hang with think about this; “If you hang out at the barbershop long enough you will get a haircut.” – Unknown Author.  I guess faith really does come by reading the Word of God! Return to Admenu – Admenu’s Alternate Site   Dear Saints,   Today we prayerfully continue the Feast in II Corinthians 5.  Do you think that some of the Corinthians we’re glorifying their past? You know what I mean sometimes a person’s confession sounds more like bragging.  Sometimes when someone is trying to help another do their words turn into fuel for gossip?  Do saints refer to other people’s religion in a demeaning way?  Any bragging or derogatory talk hurts your credibility as an ambassador. “20 Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, God making his appeal through us. We implore you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God. 21 For our sake he made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.” II Corinthians 5:20-21, ESV. Demeaning others or building yourself up will never help you lead others to Jesus! “11 Therefore encourage one another and build one another up, just as you are doing.” 1 Thessalonians 5:11, ESV.  When we encourage others and build one another up we are doing well as ambassadors for Jesus.  Let’s let our lights shine and give all glory to God.  If the Lord is willing I will send and post the Feast again tomorrow.   Jesus wants you?  Do you hear Him calling?  Do you want to love and be loved? Return to Admenu – Admenu’s Alternate Site   Dear Saints,   Today we prayerfully continue the Feast in II Corinthians 4.  Do we reach to the things which are born of the flesh or those which are born in the spirit? “16 to one a fragrance from death to death, to the other a fragrance from life to life. Who is sufficient for these things? 17 For we are not, like so many, peddlers of God's word, but as men of sincerity, as commissioned by God, in the sight of God we speak in Christ.” II Corinthians.  2:16-18, ESV.  If we seek first the treasures of this world we are seeking all that will parish with this world. “11 Yours, O Lord, is the greatness and the power and the glory and the victory and the majesty, for all that is in the heavens and in the earth is yours. Return to Admenu – Admenu’s Alternate Site   Dear Saints,   Today we prayerfully continue the Feast in II Corinthians 2 & 3.  I know that’s two chapters they are short but powerful. What a wonderful thing it would be, to be in this triumphal procession!  Following Jesus with all our hearts; “14 But thanks be to God, who in Christ always leads us in triumphal procession, and through us spreads the fragrance of the knowledge of him everywhere. 15 For we are the aroma of Christ to God among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing, 16 to one a fragrance from death to death, to the other a fragrance from life to life. Who is sufficient for these things?” II Corinthians.  2:14-16, ESV.  I wonder if Paul would to say the same things if he was writing this letter to us?  Are we Saints of sincerity touting God’s Word?  Whatever your called to do remember; “1 A soft answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger” Proverbs 15:1, ESV.  Whatever your position in the body of Christ remember we are all Jesus’ Ambassadors! Praying and Feasting Together

Return to Admenu – Admenu’s Alternate Site   Dear Saints,   Today we prayerfully continue the Feast in 2 Corinthians 1. Matthew Henrys Concise commentary breaks down chapter one as follows; “The apostle blesses God for comfort in, and deliverance out of troubles. (1-11) He professes his own and his fellow-labourers’ integrity. (12-14) Gives reasons for his not coming to them. (15-24)”.  Matthew Henrys Concise Commentary. I wonder what Paul would have to say if he were writing a letter to our community? Would he be warning us Against False Teachers; “3 As I urged you when I was going to Macedonia, remain at Ephesus so that you may charge certain persons not to teach any different doctrine, 4 nor to devote themselves to myths and endless genealogies, which promote speculations rather than the stewardship from God that is by faith. 5 The aim of our charge is love that issues from a pure heart and a good conscience and a sincere faith..” 1 Timothy 1:3-5 ESV.  I will not speculate as to what the content of his letter to us might contain.  He might just refer us to his second letter to the Corinthians.  Let’s continue to prayerfully Feast together and allow God’s Word to nourish our spirit. Got Faith?

The Best of the Feast Jul. 16, 2016 – Nehemiah – 13 Got Faith? clic aquí en español   Please join with us sharing God’s Word daily. Return to Admenu – Admenu’s Alternate Site   Dear Saints,   Today we prayerfully Feast in Nehemiah 13. It’s very important for us to understand where God’s people turned for instruction. Let’s look at the first three versus of today’s Feast; “1 On that day they read from the Book of Moses in the hearing of the people. And in it was found written that no Ammonite or Moabite should ever enter the assembly of God, 2 for they did not meet the people of Israel with bread and water, but hired Balaam against them to curse them—yet our God turned the curse into a blessing.3 As soon as the people heard the law, they separated from Israel allthose of foreign descent.”  Nehemiah 13:1-3, English Standard Version (ESV).  They turned to the Word of God! This is a very important piece of information.  If we depend on others to tell us what the Word of God says we don’t have a clue.  We would be leaning on our understandings of what other people say is the Word of God.  If we pray and listen to or read the Word of God we have, God’s Word for what we understand. “5 Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; 6 in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.” Proverbs 3:5-6, ESV.  When we pray and read the Word of God we are preparing ourselves for his work.   This is why the study part (praying & reading the chapters) of the Feast is so important.  The Word of God tells us to study to show ourselves approved, just workmen with a right understanding of God’s Word (see 2 Timothy 2:15).  Also God said we need to hear every word that proceeds from his mouth to live (see Matthew 4:4).  If you know Jesus, pray and read the Word of God from beginning to end no one will be able to deceive you (see Galatians 1:6-9)!  I’ve heard people say;”I wish I had that kind of faith!”  If anyone wants to have “that kind” of faith they can join us in the Feast, praying and reading every Word in the Bible spending about fifteen minutes a day in God’s Word. We know where faith comes from; “17 So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ.” Romans 10:17, ESV.  So when someone says; “I wish I had that kind of faith!” You can help them. The Church Joins Jesus

Return to Admenu – Admenu’s Alternate Site   Dear Saints,   Today we prayerfully Feast in Nehemiah 12; the genealogy of the priests and Levites that returned. The wall is dedicated with praise and thanksgiving. The officers were appointed over the storerooms, the contributions, the first fruits, and the tithes.  “46 For long ago in the days of David and Asaph there were directors of the singers, and there were songs of praise and thanksgiving to God. 47 And all Israel in the days of Zerubbabel and in the days of Nehemiah gave the daily portions for the singers and the gatekeepers; and they set apart that which was for the Levites; and the Levites set apart that which was for the sons of Aaron.”  Nehemiah 12:46-47, English Standard Version (ESV).  Giving was not looked at as a burden or solemn duty. They gave to God with praise and thanks giving. “16 For the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a cry of command, with the voice of an archangel, and with the sound of the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. 17 Then we who are alive, who are left, will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we will always be with the Lord.” 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17, ESV.  What a Joy it is to be able to go to God with praises and thanksgiving.  There will be no grief, burden, sadness, pain nor sorrow when we join Jesus (see Revelation 21:4).   Jesus Himself will wipe away any tears.  When the Church joins Jesus it will be a joyful event.  If the Lord is willing I will send and post the Feast again tomorrow.   Jesus wants you?  Do you hear Him calling?  Do you want to love and be loved?
