  How To Choose!

Please join with us sharing God’s Word daily. We spend about fifteen minutes a day praying and reading every word in God’s Word in approximately three years.

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully continue our Feast in Job 2;  Job’s wife told him he should curse God and die! We see Job’s friends coming to comfort him. “11 Now when Job's three friends heard of all this evil that had come upon him, they came each from his own place, Eliphaz the Temanite, Bildad the Shuhite, and Zophar the Naamathite. They made an appointment together to come to show him sympathy and comfort him.12 And when they saw him from a distance, they did not recognize him. And they raised their voices and wept, and they tore their robes and sprinkled dust on their heads toward heaven.” Job 2:11-12 ESV.  Friends and family are so very important.  God’s Word tells us how to choose our friends and spouse.
·        How to choose friends; “14 Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. For what partnership has righteousness with lawlessness? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?2 Corinthians 6:14-15, ESV.
·        How to choose a spouse; “14 Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. For what partnership has righteousness with lawlessness? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?2 Corinthians 6:14-15, ESV.
The choice would always be the same! If the Lord is willing I will write and post the Feast tomorrow.

Softly and sweetly, Jesus is calling!  Do you hear that small voice calling; sinner com home?  Do you want to choose good over evil? If the answer is yes, please click the following link; admenu.com/calling.html

In Any And Every Circumstance!

The Best of the Feast

Aug. 7, 2016 – Job 1

  In Any And Every Circumstance!

Please join with us sharing God’s Word daily. We spend about fifteen minutes a day praying and reading every word in God’s Word in approximately three years.

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully Feast in Job !; We see Job starting out with God blessing him in every way; “1 There was a man in the land of Uz whose name was Job, and that man was blameless and upright, one who feared God and turned away from evil. There were born to him seven sons and three daughters. He possessed 7,000 sheep, 3,000 camels, 500 yoke of oxen, and 500 female donkeys, and very many servants, so that this man was the greatest of all the people of the east.”  Job 1:1-3, English Standard Version (ESV).  As we read on we will see a basic truth here about those who love and obey God; “28 And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.”  Romans 8:28, ESV.   We need to be like Job and Paul; who didn’t let their worldly circumstance dictate their relationship with God; “11 Not that I am speaking of being in need, for I have learned in whatever situation I am to be content. 12 I know how to be brought low, and I know how to abound. In any and every circumstance, I have learned the secret of facing plenty and hunger, abundance and need.” Philippians 4:10-11, ESV. When we learn to be content wherever we are in every circumstance; we will also learn to truly be happy for others.   If the Lord is willing I will write and post the Feast tomorrow.

Softly and sweetly, Jesus is calling!  Do you hear that small voice calling; sinner com home?  Do you want to choose good over evil? If the answer is yes, please click the following link; admenu.com/calling.html

Why Do They Have All The Fun?

Why Do They Have All The Fun?

Please join with us sharing God’s Word daily. We spend about fifteen minutes a day praying and reading every word in God’s Word in approximately three years.

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully Feast in Esther 10; God blessed King Ahasuerus and in doing so he blessed Mordecai, Esther and His people.  “1King Ahasuerus imposed tax on the land and on the coastlands the sea. And all the acts of his power and might, and the full account of the high honor of Mordecai, to which the king advanced him, are they not written in the Book of the Chronicles of the kings of Media and Persia? For Mordecai the Jew was second in rank to King Ahasuerus, and he was great among the Jews and popular with the multitude of his brothers, for he sought the welfare of his people and spoke peace to all his people.”  Esther 10:1-3, English Standard Version (ESV).  Sometimes it seems like the unbelievers are having the best of times. They have the boats, the sand buggies and they spend every weekend camping, playing, in Las Vegas or other “fun” places.   God knows their hearts.  This doesn’t mean you can’t go places on the weekend, wherever you go take the time to worship God and share Jesus. By all means do not envy them; remember that God always has the believer’s best welfare in mind.  “28 And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose. 29 For those whom he foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, in order that he might be the firstborn among many brothers.”  Romans 8:28-29, ESV.  Instead of envying those that are wasting their life away we need to pray for them. Where ever we go we should lovingly go with God; carrying the Word to all the corners of the Earth. Remember this Saint; God is not willing that any should perish.   If the Lord is willing I will write and post the Feast tomorrow.

Called With A Purpose!

Please join with us sharing God’s Word daily. We spend about fifteen minutes a day praying and reading every word in God’s Word in approximately three years.

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully Feast in Esther 9; The Jews band together throughout the kingdom and God gives them the victory.  The feast of Purim is observed in remembrance of this. (20-32) “30 Letters were sent to all the Jews, to the 127 provinces of the kingdom of Ahasuerus, in words of peace and truth,31 that these days of Purim should be observed at their appointed seasons, as Mordecai the Jew and Queen Esther obligated them, and as they had obligated themselves and their offspring, with regard to their fasts and their lamenting.32 The command of Queen Esther confirmed these practices of Purim, and it was recorded in writing.”  Esther 9:30-32, English Standard Version (ESV).  If we who believe in Jesus live together for God, he will grant us success.  We must worship God in the righteousness of Jesus, obeying the Holy Spirit which dwells in all believers.  “[My Refuge and My Fortress] 1He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will abide in the shadow of the Almighty”. Psalm 91:1, ESV.   We have been redeemed to carry the good news in the name of Jesus, proceeding in his righteousness and God’s love to every corner of the world.  If the Lord is willing I will write and post the Feast tomorrow.

Who Are We?

The Best of the Feast

Aug. 4, 2016 – Esther 8

Just Who Are We?

Please join with us sharing God’s Word daily. We spend about fifteen minutes a day praying and reading every word in God’s Word in approximately three years.

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully Feast in Esther 8; After Haman was hanged God moved King Ahasuerus to promote Mordecai.  God blesses Esther and in doing so saved the Jews. Mordecai is given the kings seal.  Throughout the world the Jews God’s chosen people are blessed. “16 The Jews had light and gladness and joy and honor. 17 And in every province and in every city, wherever the king's command and his edict reached, there was gladness and joy among the Jews, a feast and a holiday. And many from the peoples of the country declared themselves Jews, for fear of the Jews had fallen on them.”  Esther 8:16-18, English Standard Version (ESV).  Saints we are like Mordecai and Esther and all of God’s people here in the book of Esther. Just the fact that we belong to Jesus means we shouldn’t despair no matter our circumstances.  “36 For what does it profit a man to gain the whole world and forfeit his soul?” Mark 8:36, ESV.   We have been redeemed by Jesus and when we were saved we were sealed by the Holy Spirit.  God’s hand is on us now and for eternity we are God’s people.   Once more we are the Church! If the Lord is willing I will write and post the Feast tomorrow.

Today’s Verse; ““Thus says the Lord who made the earth, the Lord who formed it to establish it—the Lord is his name: Call to me and I will answer you, and will tell you great and hidden things that you have not known.” Jeremiah 33:2-3, ESV.

Where Did We Get That Idea?

The Best of the Feast

Aug. 3, 2016 – Esther 7

Where Did We Get That Idea?

Please join with us sharing God’s Word daily. We spend about fifteen minutes a day praying and reading every word in God’s Word in approximately three years.

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully Feast in Esther 7; Esther asks the king to spare her life and those of her family.  God gives Esther favor and in the king’s eye and Haman is condemned. Haman hanged on the gallows which he had built for Mordecai; “ Then Harbona, one of the eunuchs in attendance on the king, said, “Moreover, the gallows[a] that Haman has prepared for Mordecai, whose word saved the king, is standing at Haman's house, fifty cubits[b] high.”10 And the king said, “Hang him on that.” So they hanged Haman on the gallows that he had prepared for Mordecai. Then the wrath of the king abated.” Esther 7:9-10, English Standard Version (ESV).  Here we read of a man’s treachery in his heart as it is turned on himself by our Lord God. If we who are granted God’s mercy listen to and learn from Jesus’ words and take them to heart will never be guilty of sinning like Haman. God’s mercy is summed up in a law of love and forgiveness. “35 And one of them, a lawyer, asked him a question to test him.36 “Teacher, which is the great commandment in the Law?” 37 And he said to him, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. 38 This is the great and first commandment. 39 And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself. 40 On these two commandments depend all the Law and the Prophets.”” Matthew 22:35-40, ESV.   God’s Word tells us everything we need to know to live a sin free life.  Turn to God in the name of Jesus whenever you have a need or a question.  If the Lord is willing I will write and post the Feast tomorrow.

Aren’t I The Best?

The Best of the Feast

Aug.2, 2016 – Esther 6

Aren’t I The Best?

Please join with us sharing God’s Word daily. We spend about fifteen minutes a day praying and reading every word in God’s Word in approximately three years.

Dear Saints,

Today we prayerfully Feast in Esther 6; The Lord God gives King Ahasuerus insomnia so he reads about Mordecai’s prior service. The king is impressed and decides to reward Mordecai. Haman (being a legend in his own mind) believes the king wants to honor himself not Mordecai.  Haman plots against Mordecai as his friends tell him how to plan Mordecai’s death; “13 Yet all this is worth nothing to me, so long as I see Mordecai the Jew sitting at the king’s gate.” 14 Then his wife Zereshand all his friends said to him, “Let a gallows fifty cubits high be made, and in the morning tell the king to have Mordecai hanged upon it. Then go joyfully with the king to the feast.” This idea pleased Haman, and he had the gallows made.”  Esther 6:13-14, English Standard Version (ESV).  I think the lesson we get hear would be two fold;
1.    Is not to count ourselves as more valuable than another person
2.    Talking and plotting against anyone behind their back never turns out good
God left us specific instructions of how to approach those who are caught in transgressions. “1Brothers, if anyone is caught in any transgression, you who are spiritual should restore him in a spirit of gentleness. Keep watch on yourself, lest you too be tempted. 2 Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ. 3 For if anyone thinks he is something, when he is nothing, he deceives himself.” Galatians 6:1-3, ESV.   In the third verse we are told not to think we are legends in our own mind.  Tomorrow we will see what happens to Haman, for backbiting and boasting.  If the Lord is willing I will write and post the Feast tomorrow.
